RA admits which clothes he was wearing that day. He told them he was wearing a Carhartt.

Mullin said, “On that day, you were on the bridge wearing …

Allen then cuts him off.

“I don’t know how you can tell what coat this is,” he said “This is ridiculous to me. That doesn’t even look like a Carhartt coat.”

“You’re right, we can’t,” Mullin said.

“You lost me I’m not going to talk. Like I said, we’re done here. Arrest me or take me home,” Allen said. “You’ve lost my trust. Are you going to arrest me?

“Am I free to leave or not?”

Mullin responded, “You were always free to leave.”

Allen then gets up and walks out.

(Snipped for focus)

And that was the beginning of the end...

There is no phone evidence that he was at the trails at the time of the crime.

The reason this goes SIDEWAYS for RA is because his “alibi,” such as it was, is that he was indeed on the bridge then but was checking his stocks on his phone.

The FACT that his phone was NOT with him destroyed his alibi and shows he was lying.

It is irrelevant to me if he threw away his old phone or not. What is critical is that he lied about his purpose on the bridge.

Finding the phone would have been helpful to LE for further proof, but the absence of his phone being used at the time and place RA stated is one of the many proven lies and feeble excuses he made for that day.

IMO and now fact after the jury verdict.
The above is from @Arkay ‘s last post from thread #216.

This is very likely why the state did not want the geofencing data brought up. It wasn’t going to benefit the P much more & could make it more likely the defense could potentially use the phone data to cast more doubt against the state’s case. This is just typical & wise weighing of the value of the evidence. If it’s not worth the risk, put in a motion requesting it to be denied with supporting reasons & the judge agreed, from my understanding.

@mrjitty,

Bringing this post of yours forward from the last thread. I belive that you are looking for this document:

The Murder Sheet podcast has recently posted several lengthy follow up episodes on social media activity questioning guilty verdict and the likely outcome of an appeal in the conviction of RA, worth a listen especially revisiting August hearing on Defense Motions.

It does not matter where RA’s phone was the afternoon of February 13 2017.
It doesn’t matter because we know where RA was then.
We know where he was because he told us himself he was:
—on the trails, where he saw some teenage girls and they saw him.
—on the first platform of the MHB, where someone saw him there.

What kind of lawyer is the male component of Murder Sheet? Does he have expertise in appellate law and procedure?

And he identified himself as the man in the photo (the still shot from Libby's video) "as long as the photo didn't come from their camera". A yesbutnotif. Which is a very longest answer to a very short question. It's me but with conditions.

The juveniles, BB and SC all saw a guy, who matched the image from the video, the same guy Abby and Libby saw.

Richard Allen, who was there at the same time, did not report seeing a guy who matched the imagine from the video.

He was the guy.

Richard Allen followed two little girls onto the bridge, he overtook them. Just as Libby's video gave a glimpse into what she could see and what she was afraid of -- they knew to fear him which really makes you wonder what he may have said to them when he let them pass him in the first place.

So here comes this man who works at CVS, who chose to duck out of lunch with his family (mom, etc), has guzzled a couple of beers, has set off creepy meters already, has a plan in mind and not for good...

But he's also A DAD.

He is looking at Abby and Libby ahead of him, can perhaps hear them talking, sees Libby waiting for Abby, trying now to hurry. He could have decided to leave them be. Turn around and go the hell home. Reach the end and let them pass him, and cross back across to safety. He could have thought of his own daughter, and how angry he be if someone scared, threatened, abducted, SAed HER... but instead, he must have been FUELED by their fear, confusion, vulnerability, innocence.

What kind of good person kills two little girls?

No good person does that.

Only an entitled, violent, perverse, deranged, no good, very bad man does that.

Somewhere, in some account, on some device, I have to believe there are troves of his CSAM -- self-titled sex addict -- and if his tiny internet search history is any indication, is brand du jour involves kidnapping and restraint, perhaps for the sheer fear engendering.

No question, when he let them pass, he saw how young they were. And did what he did anyway...either he didn't care they were young or acted on it because they were young -- either way, he is vile.

We will likely never know what blew up in his demented mind just before noon that day. That drove him from Peru. That compelled the alcohol, that impelled the trip to his house for a jacket the day didn't require (don't believe you, Richard Allen -- you went home for more than a jacket -- seems like you loaded up your kill kit -- jacket, hat, gloves, a mask, maybe some restraints, a gun, a boxcutter. Left your phone at home too. Somebody was going to die that day and he knew it. He had exit ramps ALL OVER that day, but nope, he barreled forward, hanging himself the right to terrorize, traumatize, brutalize, and murder two little girls, all for his own sick interests. He stole their lives.

He deserves LWOP X 2. And then some.

Remember how his attorneys said Richard Allen was oh, so mistreated in prison?

That his prison-issue duds were a shambles?

That he was caged for transport, spit hood too?

Had no utensils, even to eat?

And what did we learn?

Richard Allen smeared feces on his own self, ate feces... staff couldn't well leave him like that. Real people had to enter his cell, secure him and bring him to the shower to bathe that mess off of him. NOBODY is paid enough to do that work. But they did. Protected themselves from fecal spittle because they have families to go home to. They didn't sign up for up for that, thought they've probably seen it all.

No utensils? Yeah, because he was using his spork indecently. Lost that privilege quickly. Psychotic? Maybe seems that way to normal folks, but for all we know, Richard Allen had a pain fetish... some people ask how does someone in his 40s go from law-abiding to kidnapping for SA/murder????? IMO whatever Richard Allen was doing in his private life which kept him 'satisfied enough' worked for him. Until it didn't. Escalated from fantasy to February 13. Did he snap? Nah. The opposite. He stopped holding back.

He walked out on that bridge unrestrained, unhinged...

I remain grateful for the guards who have a guard the likes of Richard Allen. Largely thankless work, you couldn't pay me to do it.

This is just personal opinion and speculation so take it with a grain of salt.

But I have been here on this thread since the get go as many of you guys have.

IMO this nonsense about GH and the Dr and the white van comes from...in the early days there was a bloke on the tubes called minivan traveller and he was OBSESSED with delphi, gray hughes and a minivan under the bridge.
This caused Gray to talk alot dispelling this dudes nonsense about seeing/imagining a van down at the river in pics. It is unfortunate that little piece of nothingness has been exploited and interchangable with a fact about Brad W coming home.
WHICH NOBODY KNEW THE TIMING OR ....HIS VEHICLE until the trial.

facts matter... and I believe thats where this chinese whisper became part of the proallen brigade.
