Did anyone else hear Mowrey say he was involved in the Apple/FBI records warrant from Jan 1 Dec 31. The Defense asked why those dates and he replied because that was the timeframe BK came to Pullman. Then the Defense said he didn't come until June so why Jan 1? Mowrey said he went back to the general timeframe and mentioned the word 'stalking' in some context of his answer. Wow

Prosecution is up and starts out by saying she can make it easy and not force the Court to go down the rabbit hole. LOL

She then says they are standard and the Court should deny the MTS. Was up maybe a minute 2 tops.

Did they say the ancestry sites TOS are violated only for murder investigations? Or could it be for any reason LE/the FBI deems relevant?
I doubt that the FBI does these kinds of IGG searches unless it is a serious crime or a missing child case. They only take DNA from crime scenes, most likely. I guess maybe in a bank robbery, but I have never hard of that happening.

Just the opposite here.
Did a 23&ME because my brother was NPE and he asked me to do it. But I requested my raw data and uploaded it to GEDmatch, based specifically on this case. If some far-flung relative committed a crime, I want them caught. Healthcare issues, I'm not one iota concerned. YMMV. Moo (and I hate writing MOO because I've had it up to here in all that bovine stuff!)

First I want to say that I love our WS “family,” because I am the type who has no patience to sit through the entire hearing. I tried to FF to see if any decision has been made, but not yet and I’ll find all the answers here later, from you good people.

Second, I feel the same as @MeadowMuffin.

I haven’t done a DNA test but my identical twin has.

Should anyone who is related to me, tangentially or even closely, and my (my twin’s) DNA helped catch that person, I would feel that it was a benefit for humankind.

BK has a tie on today. Yesterday must have been casual Thursday.

Oh help us all, Logsdon is up now for the Defense on the warrant for the PA home. Looks like it's going to be a long, bloviated opinion/argument as per usual from this Attorney.

Here comes Bill Thompson at bat.

All MOO

If BK was a fugitive then why did LE in Indiana let him go.......twice? Something off there in my opinion.

Then again at that point how could possibly even be a fugitive? Maybe a suspect but how would he have been a fugitive?

Bill Thompson spoke in regards to:
Lamsden - 3 Valid warrants to arrest BK at his home
Knock and Announce - Detailed in their S-5, but won't go through the specifics to the Court unless the Judge wants him to because it's quite frankly, it's incriminating. Hah
MTS Arrest Warrant - can't figure what issue is as there are valid warrants
Defendant didn't provide documentation to the Washington warrants, but Bill Thompson did and included them in his response.
He's done unless the Judge has further questions, and he's off.

Judge Hippler will take the MTS under advisement and publish his finding.

AT is up on the Motion to Compel - Judge Hippler is confused as to why the Defense is basically asking him to tell the State who or what is going to be testified to by Expert Witnesses.

Did he say when?
He's proven very timely up to now. I'll place my bet as within a week. Is the hearing over?

ETA oh, ok seeing MTC is on now.

Judge Hippler assured AT that he will definitely be ruling on what is admissible. AT didn't tarry long, but brought up page 9 in the State's MTC specifically Expert may testify to 'anything else that may arise'.

He is advising both sides to over disclose rather than under disclose.

Annnnnd I spoke too soon, AT feels like she needs to make a record and highlight the ones she's very concerned about. She is back up and talking 'wiggle room' wording. She's saying the CAST report is insufficient and the analysis is just not good enough.

Lab people 'wiggle language' their disclosures are insufficient.
