GUILTY Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #220

  • #721
Lady, he did it. You intentionally or blindly suppressed suspicion these 4 years. You are the person Carter was speaking of who knew the mannerism of the BG.
I would like to her investigated for accomplice after the fact.

Oh, man. For a hot minute, I thought you meant meeeeeee. I know he's guilty, I've known in from the moment his arrest was announced --

But you're right about those closest to him. That lady.

To preserve even the pretense that he's innocent, one has to believe the video, the witnesses, local and federal LE, the judge, the jurors are all lying. Cognitive dissonance? Gonna put all one's trust in RA and doubt everybody else? Delusion, denial or snake oiled by the Defense? I don't know what to call it but it's not logical.

RA is the ONLY person in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE (except the ME who noted it and LE, in possession of the report) that the girls didn't die instantly. By claiming he "watching to make sure they didn’t suffer", he confesses to knowledge no other civilian had. We didn't know that. Ghastly injuries, most people, I'd think, would assume that death would be immediate. Yet RA knew it was not. He watched.

Sadistic. No remorse, no first aid, no 911. He was alone with them, then injured them fatally, then watched them bleed out. From wounds he knew we're unsurvivable. But he watched anyway. Didn't bolt, watched.

And the evidence at the scene bears that out.

This case is closed.

RA was the missing witness.

He was on the bridge after passing the group of juveniles who also happened to leave before KG dropped LG and AW off. He was on the bridge when BB saw him there on her third loop, after not seeing him on her previous ones, and just before passing LG and AW on their way to the bridge.

He was dressed in jeans and a Carhartt jacket, with a scarf and skull cap.

He wasn't consistent about his times, changing it up, but he confirmed seeing the juveniles and he confirmed BW's arrival, sometime around 3:30, give or take.

He mentioned no other men on the trail nor anyone who might have been at the trail earlier or later that day.

He conceded that there were conditions under which he could be the the man in the photo, BG.

As to the other conditions? If he never saw LG and AW that day, how could he be certain they didn't surreptitiously photograph him? He told on himself. And also did bad math. His math? He can see in the photograph where abouts he was on the bridge, very close to the girls. In fact looking right at them. AW's back as she tried to hurry away from him and off the bridge, and LG who was facing AW and, right behind her, him. So positive he was that if they had a phone/camera, he would have been looking right it. (Had he seen it, we can be sure that phone would have gone for a long swim in the creek.) He forced those little girls to undress, at gunpoint. No phone. Even across the creek after he murdered them, no phone.

Boy, did he read that wrong. He was outsmarted by babyteens. They kept the phone hidden despite every nasty thing he did. One of the girls was almost able to unlock the phone even, presumably to call 911 --

Even without his 60+ confessions, he put himself on the bridge and no one could get him off.

But he's off the bridge now and in prison where he belongs.

Time to give Delphi back to Abby and Libby and let them rest in peace.

Last sentence had me about to cry at my work desk. Whole comment is spectacular as well.

Monster is finally in his cage where he belongs.

A new three-part series, “Capturing Their Killer: The Girls on the High Bridge,” is a deep dive into the mysterious case, with interviews from key players including the victims’ friends and relatives. The series also reveals exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage of defense attorneys as they verdict came in, and an interview with Richard Allen’s wife, Kathy Allen, who opens up for the first time about her marriage and her perspective on the killings that captured the nation’s attention

“The whole town was devastated,” Kathy Allen said. “I felt so badly, especially for the mothers.”

“I don’t know how we got through it,” Libby’s grandmother and guardian, Becky Patty, said. “I do remember we learned how Libby died because the funeral director told us we needed to bring in clothes, and he said, ‘You need to make sure you have a scarf.'”

At a press conference days later, police deemed German a "hero" for having taken the video moments before her death.

“This young lady’s a hero, there’s no doubt about it,” Indiana State Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Tony Slocum said. “To activate the video system on her cell phone to record criminal behavior that’s about to occur ... there’s no doubt in our minds that [this] young lady is a hero."

Following Allen's sentencing, his defense team planned to appeal the verdict, according to The New York Times. Per the outlet, they noted in a memo that Allen maintained his innocence and hoped to be able to "present a full defense at a second trial."

As of July 2025, Allen had been moved to The Lexington Assessment and Reception Center, a maximum-security prison, in Oklahoma, per local news outlet WRTV. According to the outlet, his defense team filed their appeal in March 2025, detailing four alleged missteps that they feel are significant enough to warrant an overturning of the jury's verdict.

The fact that there is a quote from KA, wife of the convicted Murderer of Abby and Libby, front and center makes me sick to my stomach. 🤮 🤬

Why can't they do a special with the families, loved ones, teammates, community of the VICTIMS only???? I don't want to hear KA's delusional BS nor do I want the Defense afforded another opportunity to be able to spin their cockamamie garbage even more.

Let these young victims rest in peace. BG=RA=Killer Period, end of story.

Isn't it strange that KA did not take the stand in court and testify for her husband since she is so convinced of his innocence?
My opinion only but she didn't seem so certain of his innocence when he was being questioned by LE.

Sorry to be judgmental, but I don't think his wife is very bright. Might even have a learning disability
I am not a big fan of the whiny high pitched baby voice she is using in the interview tapes. JMO

I'm thinking she is broke and needs the money (assuming she was paid for the show, which I don't know if she was).

Ive not been here for a while but man... just when you think this case quietened down.
KA needs to take a long hard look at herself. Her husband has been found guilty. He confessed. As someone said above, he admitted to watching those girls bleed out to "make sure they didn't suffer"
Lady, they suffered. They suffered an incredible amount and you sit here insulting their memory by claiming your husband, who admitted to this crime, is innocent. Disgusting. An insult to those girls memories.
Sometimes you need to know when to keep quiet. Now is the time.

She said: ‘How dare you accuse someone who is nothing but a people-pleaser and works out in the public. How dare you.’

How dare she... I'm so angry by this. He wasnt a people pleaser when he lied to you about being on the bridge. When he changed his timings.
The defence has also contributed to this by continuing to claim his innocence. Just stop.

She has never shown one drop of compassion or empathy for Libby and Abby's families. I find her almost as despicable as her " wonderful" child killing husband.
Maybe she isn't in denial, maybe she just doesn't care. Jmo

Doesn't Rex H.'s (LISK) wife
say exactly the same things about her hubby? 🤔

This right here! Amen.

They had every opportunity to bring in their defense but failed to present evidence which linked their culprits to the scene with some not even being in the town the day of the crime.

The defense failed & instead of doing their job as officers of the court, they turned around & cried to their supporters after violating the gag order multiple times. JG knew what they were up to all along.

Sorry to be judgmental, but I don't think his wife is very bright. Might even have a learning disability
Possibly. More over, her intellect shines most bright in the people she chooses to believe.

She just needs to pipe down & live the life she chose. I’ll never be convinced she didn’t initially think it was her husband, especially after that last 2022 interview with Holeman.

2 peas in a pod - both selfish liars that care for no one else, regardless of what they claim. She showed her true colors when she skipped the victim impact statements.

Notice not 1 of the 3 clowns were on TV when he was transferred to OK? They’re done with him - appellate attorneys are doing their jobs now but probably won’t hear much from them for a month or more.

I am not a big fan of the whiny high pitched baby voice she is using in the interview tapes. JMO
Not a fan of anything about her.

Just a bunch of baloney.
Your post actually made me hungry, so I'm eating a bologna sandwich as I start watching this new Delphi documentary. Expectations are low.

Drama $ells, namelessgirl. People do want to hear about Abby and Libby's lives...in juxtaposition with Bridge Guy and the crime.

The brightest of lights cast the darkest shadows.
