it explains one thing. Baldwin wanted to suppress the Holeman interview (no Miranda on the video). However Rozzi and Auger wanted it in, because RA was not going to testify, and they needed some piece of evidence where RA maintained his innocence). So in the end Baldwin agreed to withdraw the motion to suppress.

At around the 1hour mark, Baldwin proposes his theory that Dr Wala made up the van thing or read about it on reddit ... he calls her a "fangirl of the Delphi case"

Basically they claim that as RA had psychosis, he could not have come up with this. So essentially they claim it came from Dr Wala.

Baldwin then blames journalists for not looking in to this. Seems bizarre - it's a question of evidence at trial. What does it have to do with journalists?

I bet she didn’t ask them why their client is still on the bridge or to clarify which of the two different timeframes he was on the trails, did she? Nope - everything focuses on events after that. Funny how the needle keeps skipping to the same part of their broken record.

I wonder how him and his wife now feel with him facing the rest of his crappy life in jail.

Yep but LE definitely made mistakes so with a better bunch of lawyers I definitely think they could have made a better case for him and cast more doubts on some of the evidence.

Thanks for the notes guys. I'm just blown away by how meticulous and open minded these jurors were, and how they seriously considered every possibility. I'm impressed they were able to discount certain pieces of evidence, yet still get there based on other evidence. You don't have to believe everything, and they didn't.

I was impressed by this juror. She seemed young and open minded. I think how they went about the deliberations. It sounds like a great way to sort things out instead of going over opinions and rehashing various things over and over, they created a timeline that they made with all the evidence they had from both sides. They pieced together things in a way that they could then see a bigger picture. Was it SC that they said they had to discount or was it the other girl driving in the car? Either way it was interesting that they didn't have to have that testimony to still arrive at the decision. It seems it really boiled down to RA saying he was there and saying he saw the group of girls with descriptions of them. Those girls seeing him and describing him, plus having the exact timeline from their other photos they took that day and Libby texting them as they were arriving and her saying they had just left. It really placed the timeline into a small window.

How many times did we say on this thread that RA places himself on the bridge and nobody could get him off of it.

It really is that simple. Van or no van, seeing a muddy or bloody guy on the road, where the car was parked, the enhanced video and on and on.. it really wasn't as big of a deal as him saying he was there and then the girls seeing him and him seeing the girls. They believed that.

Something that remains odd to me and is now confirmed in baldwins interview with Motta.

Why did the defence not get proof from Facebook that the so called mimicked crime scene photo was posted in the alt suspects account? It seems odd to me that a key part of your case is some photo you got from some guy who says that's where it comes from.

Surely you would want to have the best primary source, including the context of the photo?

AND making such a big huge deal about it and spending all that money to go retrieve it in person vs email?

I think it appeared to be desperation on their part and it really gave me the impression they had nothing else so they had to go to such lengths to make it seem like this was the "big break".

Possibly. That timeline & his lying would’ve been challenging IMO.

Yes, it was SC’s testimony she said was ignored for lack of better words, as well as the ballistics testimony.

I agree KK was not involved, physically.

I do believe that thru him (KK) and the Anthony_Shotz profile, that was in communication with libby and Abby the night before/early morning hours, I have always thought that RA had access to the "dropbox" photos, conversations, etc and HE, (RA) knew the girls would be there, with the girls thinking they were meeting up with A_shotz.

That would mean some guy was planning to meet Abby and Libby and RA knew about it so was RA looking for a random guy also because that seems risky to do what he did if he thought the girls were going to be meeting up with a 3rd person. For this scenario let's just say RA didn't know KK or know who made the AS account. So was he watching for the guy that planned to meet up with the girls also?

I don't think they could get too focused on the before the DTH part because I think they knew RA was on that trail exactly when he had to be to be BG. They couldn't focus on that part of the timeline because they had nobody to say he wasn't there at 130-330. They hinted at it and tried to say the witnesses didn't see who and what they saw, but they had no proof RA wasn't BG and I think they knew that and tried to stay far away from drawing attention to that.

I won’t speak for @Spartygirl but for me, I believe the intent was to get a girl on the bridge using the AS account as a ruse. That was the bait, so to speak. RA knew at least one would be there - walking with a purpose. KK did make the account & very well could have allowed others to use it or sold access to it. Just a theory & my own hunch, if you will. I just find it too convenient KK deleted a bunch of data from the 1 phone LE missed during their search & then RAs 2017 phone also disappeared. The evidence is gone or not found so just utter speculation.

I definitely believe he knew Libby would be out on that bridge that day. Unfortunately he ditched his phone and then over 5 years to catch him meant evidence was lost.

I think he was drinking and moody at his Mums house because he hadn’t fully made up his mind to go though with it at that stage.

this is kind of what annoys me about these softball interviews. they were never pushed in any tough questions like who were the 4 girls Rick saw?
