I was referencing Richard Allen but I think she (KA) in the very least suspected. If she really knew then she needs to do time for not reporting him. Did LE ever check her phone?

My belief is she wants to be with him regardless.

In the brief they are complaining about Allen's call on April 3, 2022 to his stepdad not being played in court. Wouldn't that be hearsay and wouldn't RA have to take the stand if they want that in? I remember something similar like this in the Murdaugh case.

I want to correct the year. It was actually April 3, 2023. That was the same day he confessed to his wife too.

I think in most states (at least mine), a spouse cannot legally be required to testify or give witness to a crime by the other spouse if they didn't participate or know ahead of time.

O/T but to all my friends here on WS:
On January 12th 2026 I will be a witness first time in my life. OMG, I don't want to think about it now. Last February a thief stole my purse out of my bag in a supermarket. I didn't know, I was robbed, until I got to the checkout and missed my purse, went home to search my purse at home, didn't find it, and only then I comprehended the possible theft.
I'm nervous to be a witness, because I consciously didn't see anything (as the police is knowing by my statement/report). Though when I comprehended the theft, I had a suspicion, it may have been a woman, who behaved somewhat strangely in the supermarket, near myself (I also told police). Now it turned out, the accused is a MAN.
So, I saw nothing, afterwards had a suspicion, and now I am a witness in front of a lay judge court.
The man is charged with aggravated theft; my case is attached to another unknown case.

Since you really didn’t see the person take your purse, your testimony is probably just to establish where it happened and the time. It’s up to the lawyers to show he’s the guilty party.
