I remember her saying in the video that she built the swing set, so maybe she also mentioned the other things in the interview but that bit didn't make it into the final cut?

I thought I heard she built the swing set plus slide. I listened to the original video posted, apparently there were a few cuts that day or the next? At least that's the impression I got on this thread.

Jack looks so withdrawn in so many photos ..it is no wonder there was an eagerness to proclaim a possible autism diagnosis. Because in my opinion it would excuse his sad and confused expression

I agree, and the longer this drags on, I get the feeling everyone is being played.
After giving a plea for their safe return, they should stop the drivel. It’s getting their family and friends backs up, then they feel need to hit back.
They’ve lost the objective… find the kids or the killer.
I think Belynda is the most credible. There’s no way the RCMP would allow this to continue if a charade.
I’m going for #2.

Did you notice the older man with the yellow shirt walking away at about 2:28? No idea who he is, JM didn’t mention anyone lived with her.

I"m wondering if it was her brother Rob (I think she said his name was). The one she mentioned who texted her at 8:48am asking if she wanted a ride into town which she declined and told him she was going back to bed.

I am wondering if he swung by or drove by the place regardless, but haven't heard anything about that so likely not. All MOO JMO

Any locals know, does Nova Scotia have a website that you can search for courts online like we have in BC?

I can go to BC Courts Online and search a person and it will list criminal and traffic offences - it's all public record. I haven't used it in awhile. It doesn't allow to search "all" offences if you know what I mean.. but many.

I will check myself but might not be easy to find on Google.

The biggest issue in this case for me is that it involved not one but two children. An abductor would have to snatch up 2 kids quickly, a much more risky and difficult maneuver than 1 kid.

Same thing with murder. Killing 2 kids and hiding their bodies is a lot. To me, that’s a planned event not in the heat of anger or an accident. One kid might die in those situations, but 2? Quinton Simon suffered the wrath of his monster mother, but her other kids weren’t targets. Is one of these parents a family annihilator?

Shipping off 2 kids to a random reservation or hiding place seems illogical to me. These supposed safe keepers would have to support these children, and that costs $.

I don’t think it has anything to do with autism. I also don’t think these little ones wandered off far. I know every kid is different, but my kid with sensory processing disorder stays close to me. Especially a baby in diapers? I think they were driven somewhere else where something nefarious happened whether accidental or purposeful I don’t know

RSBM: unless they were familiar with the children in some form and their routines/habits - maybe someone who knew them, were acquainted with them or interacted with them somewhere before so the kids didn't feel threatened and went with someone with no fear. All JMO

*ETA: I feel like if this was the case LE would know this or have cam footage of vehicles along the road, etc. but they might also be keeping that info for only them to know.

IIRC the slide is attached to the swing set, so that would make total sense

I'm trying to establish a timeline from the kids been heard by janie and hearing Daniel calling for them .

She says it was about 20 minutes between the two incidents. She says Daniel was up in the woods looking .

Now this is where I get confused , he says he immediately jumped in a vehicle and was searching as many culverts as he could find and was waist deep in water searching

Was this before or after he was heard by janie ?

Can this all have happened before RCMP arrival ?

I had a look back at the video that states RCMP were called at 10am

I think this is where the confusion happens . Somewhere this has got lost in translation. It was called not arrived . Daniel in his first interview states he cannot say what time LE arrived and the rcmp hasn't confirmed an exact time .

So could the time frame of when the helicopters and search teams got going give the kids a much longer head start then what's been speculated

I still feel if it was 20 minutes between the kids not being heard and Daniel searching he would have found them . But if they were fearful of punishment for their actions it may have caused them to hide . Usually its a mother's voice that is used by searchers if they are sending out a voice message to lost kids . [ Nora quirons mother did this when she was missing)I wonder did Maleyha call out for them too or was it just janie and Daniel

I think they likely went missing on the morning of May 2.....but the TIME of when they went missing is not concrete, imo. It might have been much earlier than what was reported to LE.

Just a thought.

I agree. There’s verified sightings of the children BEFORE May 2 (bus driver on the Tuesday and video surveillance on May 1) so IMO something happened to them on May 2. I believe whatever happened, happened in the early morning hours of May 2, though.

I now believe that they were looking for paths a quad possibly has taken. Ie is there a path that they had a history of taking.

I think those babies have been deposited in the deep woods. Whether or not they were alive when they were, I have no opinion on. But I don't believe they are alive anymore sadly.

To summarize to this point:
-LE have not colluded with family to hide children......STILL MISSING PERSONS CASE
-LE continue with no abduction theory......STILL MISSING PERSONS CASE
-No cadaver dogs or further searches in bush, concluded no alive children in bush, therefore bodies can wait for further cadaver search as necessary (environmental consideration) STILL MISSING PERSONS CASE
-LE has not arrested any suspects for murder.......STILL MISSING PERSONS CASE
After all this, the kids are STILL MISSING PERSONS CASE.

What head way have LE made? Unknown.
Stepfather who has no legal responsibility is now finished with media. LE contacts him as needed, which obviously isn't much, and preinform him of any media they are going to release. He goes on with his life.
Mother is MIA. Obviously LE are in contact with her. No kids, no evidence, no criminal case.
No one has been charged with neglect or mischief. No suspects listed. She goes on with her life.
All this money, all this disruption of lives for what? The kids are still missing. Can we presume them dead? Dead by environment or by the hands of some crack pot? Or could they have been sold?
If only they had issued an Amber Alert... just maybe someone would have seen them

Ok, that makes a lot of sense why DM would say they couldn’t be in the woods because it was already completely searched. There is no way it was completely searched.

-has other people relationship been investigated
-did they stop
-intention of trip
-did they meet anyone
-did they make a purchase
-did kids return with them
-where they captured on cctv on highway, stores,homes, or other vehicle dash cams
Does anything linked to the trip to a location near New Glasgow, link the activity that evening at trailer?

Is there a time line on issuing an Amber Alert? Could they still do it now? Or how about a missing person billboard or poster campaign. What caused LE to not take these steps? In not doing so, what reasons did they have for this quick decision?
I've seen road checks for things like this, even if just done for a few hours in the window of opportunity. Radio campaigns, alerting all departments and nearby provinces. Or did we just not hear it being out of community?
