Maybe the ID showed a smiling face. I doubt she characterized herself to the press or cops as being flirty.![]()
This was the first article I found, but there are more out there.

Thanks! So the police are quoting the hostel worker tot he news. She has not talked to the news directly.![]()

I think the killer should be accountable w/o a doubt, but it's interesting there is so much attention and a $50,000 reward for the killing of a billionaire vs others who are killed in the same NYC daily.
Not to mention if the goat bleated from under his jacket while a hiker passed him on the trails. That sort of thing would kinda get one's attention, ya know?Yes. This prosthetic body part/mask thing is giving me flashbacks to when people thought the Delphi killer was wearing a respirator and had a baby goat under his jacket.
It was completely unnecessary for him to do that, and it would have risked giving him away. It would be quite embarrassing if his nose fell off.
It was not a stockholder meeting, and it was not an Annual Meeting. It was a meeting for institutional investors. Go back to the posts on Thread #1.I t was a one day event. The mandatory Annual Meeting for stockholders and stakeholders.
Law enforcement nationwide should use more resources to solve all the other crimes that are going on.Who claimed to not understand the reasoning?
Following the logic doesn’t make it any less “interesting” or, in my opinion, any less of a bummer that other murders get way less resources dedicated to solving them.
I’d even say this kind of assassin is less of a threat to public safety than a lot of other at-large murderers, the ones who get far less attention. IMO it’s fair to point out disparities in the resources dedicated to different cases.
Agree with all your potential motives. I hadn't considered number five, interesting thought.1. If its true he was under investigation for insider trading and other crimes then I place "silencing" at the top of my list by people with much to lose.
2. If he was going to provide evidence of wrongdoing within the Big Pharma, Big Medical, Big Insurance schemes of say the past 4 years I'd again say "silencing". Wouldn't be the first person to mysteriously die while holding allegations against powerful corporations.
3. Family member hired a hit for money.
4. Angry policyholder over a denied claim
5. Like the movie "Fletch"...he hired his own hit so life insurance money would be paid. Only makes sense if he was being investigated for a crime and knew he would end up in prison.
It could depend English fluency among those three individuals and if English is their second language. Discerning accents a can be difficult in with learned languages.Surely the hostel desk clerk would know if he had an accent or not, and possibly the cabbie too. And maybe the SB barista for that matter. Seems like an important detail to know. IMO.
Yet it was a targeted attackRight. Conference organizers want to know if a location is safe, or not.
do find the logic that he looks foreign to be quite funny given then you are all from somewhere else originally, you are a nation of largely immigrants it’s just degrees of time so you will look like every nation on earth combined?
I'm with you and waver on motive. As far as "hired" hitman for #1, #2, #3 I can see NO scenario where the person hiring him would agree to doing it in NYC. With such high odds of getting caught then subsequently incrimination the person who hired him..I dunno, that doesn't make sense to me. That's why I'm leaning toward shooter-specific, meaning, personal vendetta by shooter or personal relationship to BT or extortion attempt gone wrong by shooter. And I absolutely can not get past, me being in corporate America for decades, I can NOT get past BT arriving in that suit without his laptop or briefcase to a big meeting. I'd like to see the footage of who was in or out of BTs hotel room, where his laptop is now, something seems so off about BT on the day of the murder.1. The Hudson would be a good place to Chuck a firearm too.Someone upthread mentioned he could have not gotten on a bus as all but made it seem like he did but instead walked the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey. Maybe head to Newark International Airport? It would really take you no time. People can go very unnoticed in NYC and NJ (i live in nyc). The NYPD are stationed so heavily in the subways and even then people still go unnoticed so heavily could have avoided the subway or not. Just thinking out loud sorry if this doesn’t make any sense!! MOO
Try again. Listed.Yes. Absolutely, positively. This one, in particular, did it from point blank range, which takes guts.
Just for fun, try Googling "female assassins." I did and all I could find was a list of fictional one from movies!
You're right. However men's Adams' apples are very prominent and visible compared with women's. The recent released photo where you can see perp's neck as he walks along the street shows a prominent, very visible Adam's apple, imo. Sorry, I'm not sure where in this thread those photos are, I am just dropping by, but I believe they've been posted recently. So you can see for yourself and make your own judgement. Hopefully they are not far up thread. Are you sure about that?

They simply don’t have the manpower or the funding to treat every crime like this.Law enforcement nationwide should use more resources to solve all the other crimes that are going on.
Nowadays $50K is meh, especially after taxes. Pop it up to a $500K incentive and people will be lining up to help capture him.Ny put up $10,000 the fbi put up $50,000 because it’s assumed he crossed state lines.
Iirc

Yeah. Adams did later walk that back, so we don’t know if he was initially exaggerating, or said something he shouldn’t have.
