I'm just wondering if the killer woke up in his own bed this morning, had a big breakfast, and is getting ready to watch some football.
Thank you, deleted. This has been walked back.
So we can rule him out being a Cowboy fan.I'm just wondering if the killer woke up in his own bed this morning, had a big breakfast, and is getting ready to watch some football.
I am not Otto. But... I think your explanation makes sense.Do you have an idea that would explain the three unspent rounds? The only thing I can think for this is he had loaded it with 6, fired three, and then ejected the remaining three so it would be unloaded for disassembly and he could take it apart safely while on the move.
Definitely not a reason to assassinate a CEO, but, as the killer might see it, Thompson was in charge. As to the insider trading charge against Thompson, other executives have also been charged. Insider trading can bring prison time and monetary penalties. Not just your opinion. The DoJ's opinion too.

Justice Department Sues to Block UnitedHealth Group’s Acquisition of Home Health and Hospice Provider Amedisys
The Justice Department, together with the Attorneys General of Maryland, Illinois, New Jersey, and New York, filed a civil antitrust lawsuit today to block UnitedHealth Group Incorporated (UnitedHealth)’s proposed $3.3 billion acquisition of rival home health and hospice services provider...www.justice.gov
I think the guy lives in NYC or New Jersey. He could have visited family or a friend in Atlanta and taken the bus to NY to confuse LE into thinking he was a Georgia resident.Someone upthread mentioned he could have not gotten on a bus as all but made it seem like he did but instead walked the George Washington Bridge into New Jersey. Maybe head to Newark International Airport? It would really take you no time. People can go very unnoticed in NYC and NJ (i live in nyc). The NYPD are stationed so heavily in the subways and even then people still go unnoticed so heavily could have avoided the subway or not. Just thinking out loud sorry if this doesn’t make any sense!! MOO
Re "coward-killer": what would make you see BT as a coward? Is the coward killer trying to convey to the public that UnitedHealth Group a monopoly, deny, defend, and depose? Taunting LE, which, is similar to what serial killers like to do…
Or is there something more sinister behind his actions?
All moo
or he picked up the Atlanta bus in/near NJ then went into the city in an attempt to throw off LE.I think the guy lives in NYC or New Jersey. He could have visited family or a friend in Atlanta and taken the bus to NY to confuse LE into thinking he was a Georgia resident.
that the e-bike hasn't yet been found suggests it's unlikely it will ever be found, imo. if it indeed is "key" this case may remain locked. The bike is key in this case.
When we know where it came from and where it went, we'll have more of the story.
I agree. And I really do think he's from the northeast given his comfort and familiarity with NYC.or he picked up the Atlanta bus in/near NJ then went into the city in an attempt to throw off LE.
It’s telling that he isn’t on camera in the Atlanta bus station. Or, they haven’t found or released it yet.
I don’t think he boarded in Atlanta. IMO
I couldn’t agree more. This besides the murder weapon is what he has clearly made a point to hide and I think there is a reason for that. The bike is key in this case.

Just taking a guess as the money amount, I’m going with six hundred and sixty six. My guess is based on it supposedly being an evil number. MOOI am very curious as to the exact amount the Monopoly money in the backpack is and what it added up to.
Moo… if this was motivated by anger and vengeance against UHC.
I feel as though counting it out… could possibly give insight into who the killer is. Help determine if he is acting on his own or with a group sending a larger message/retaliation together.
If his claim or an immediate family members claim for healthcare services was denied and the amount of Monopoly money in the backpack is the amount they needed to pay in order to receive treatment that UHC refused to cover. That would make the Monopoly money left behind not only symbolism but personal motive.
Leading me to believe this is personal to him and him alone.
And Not a group effort to make a large statement against the insurance/ healthcare company and institution as a whole.
So is it a round number… just a few Monopoly money bills for symbolism in the backpack or does it add up to a very specific number?
I think they’re worried about a brazen killer who could potentially do this again. It’s a humiliating type of crime for a city and a country, and a business.I've been thinking the same thing this whole time. The amount of resources being committed to this speaks volumes.
Interesting. I wouldn't have guessed that. If your sample is representative, it might go some way towards explaining how a US based shooter hasn't been named. I still think it's more likely that he's not in the US now but I could wrong.I live about 90 miles outside of Atlanta and NO ONE at work is aware of this. Not the 25 year olds, nor the 65 year olds. I’ve seen tidbits on patient TVs but it’s a non event here in south Georgia.
I’m not answering why they deserve more attention, but I can tell you why it is getting more attention. He is the CEO of the largest healthcare company in the world. He was in NYC on business, for their annual investor’s conference. NYC is the financial capital of the US. A CEO was murdered in daylight in front of fancy hotels in a well known and traveled part of the city. Simply put, this is bad for business. Something like this can have far ranging effects on the economy if it became a trend. Additionally, maybe next year UHG will decide to no longer hold major conferences in NYC. Other companies may follow suit. All of this implicates politicians, policy, etc. as well. It is also not a great look for NYPD in the post 9/11 world. Sure I agree, it’s unfair that average individuals aren’t treated the same but this is capitalism unfortunately. Please explain why they deserve more attention and resources.
And just imagine the pocket load of cash he needed for that stay.Putting yourself in NYC for 10 days prior to a planned assassination is a RISK. There must have been a reason why the "work" needed to do locally for the job took 10 days. There must have been something happening in the first days of his arrival that is pertinent to the job. We know he had to get an E-bike. Ok, that doesn't take 10 days. Either does rehearsing your moves or shopping for outerwear or Monopoly money. There is more to it than that.
I think it’s to get a lay of the land. His quick moves around UWS and Central Park could be due to time spent around there for 10 days. He is comfortable in a big city but the specific streets of NYC take time to adjust to.Putting yourself in NYC for 10 days prior to a planned assassination is a RISK.
