Welcome back to the Delphi Murders discussion thread.

On the afternoon of Feb. 13th, 2017, best friends Abigail Williams and Liberty German were dropped off at a bridge in the town of Delphi. On Feb 14th their bodies were discovered around noon about 50 feet from the north bank of Deer Creek which is about 0.5 miles from the bridge.

Richard Allen has been arrested and charged with the murders of Abby and Libby

There is not water on the other side of the bridge.

I highly suggest looking at the bridge on google maps especially the far end. It’s very enlightening. IMO

Are the times (below) given by Lawyer Lee correct or have I misheard.

Lawyer Lee mentions something about one witness seeing BG around 2:15pm yet at 2:13pm Libby is recording on her phone.

Can't give a time as lost connection, but it was in the last part. I just want to know if my little old ears caught what she said right because the witness was elsewhere on the trail and Libby was on the bridge.

Yes, she saw him at 215 and testified right after the testimony that the video was taken at 2:13 and are about 1 mile apart.

Voorhies said she got to her friend's house at 2:20 p.m., five minutes after she saw the "bridge guy."

Seven years after Libby German and Abby Williams were killed, the trial continues for the man accused of murdering them.

How could the person RV saw be bridge guy if she saw him at 2:15? According to Libby's video time stamp (2:13) he should of been down the hill by then. Am I missing something?
Also, RV's description of the man she saw does not match RA's appearance at all!

Yikes!

Just look at this looming, wretched mess of a bridge.

I can’t imagine anyone, even a kid, considering this a fun thing to do, but I don’t live in a rural area.

IMO this bridge is terrifying. I imagine some kids thought it exciting to step out on that little platform to the right. Just looking at the picture makes me feel as though I’m falling.

If this was some local amusement, as dilapidated as it seems, just trying to envision these two young girls suddenly having to scamper for their lives increases for me the feeling of utmost terror that must have enveloped them.

Justice for you, Abby. Justice for you, Libby. Peace for your families.

I'm a city kid who spent their childhood trying not to fall into abandoned gold mine shafts in a remote ghost town with my siblings. And I was a cautious kid by comparison with my brother. We would have been all over this thing.

A creek the girls were forced to walk across. There is water on the South side also. Searchers searched the south side because they thought they fell off the bridge. So inturn they looked for them downstream.

Yes TMS discussed Voorhies testimony quite extensively. However I’m sorry, I didn’t take notes but definitely do not recall any mention of the time appearing off.

Just caught up on all of the days testimony.

Regarding the video and audio. It sounds like “guys down the hill” didn’t come from BG.

My thoughts are possible there was someone on the road below the bridge that said those words.

That audio was unintelligible until it was cleaned up. How can one possibly tell that it didn't come from BG? Hypothetically, what are you suggesting exactly?

Agree, its the perfect amount of danger and not danger.
Tripping isn't going to send you over the side, many creekside ravine trails are far more dangerous- but the bragging rights of crossing the bridge are probably off the chart.

This is a bombshell in my opinion, if I’m reading this right, the girls were talking about going off the path and “down here” which would be down the hill before the “guys, down the hill” jmo

How is that a bombshell? To me it means they were trying to get away because he seemed scary.
