Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #200

It creates a distorted public perception and even affects the journalists and their headlines.

Perfect example----look at all the headlines the night before the trial started----the majority of the press headlines, in large major news outlets were things like " Bombshell evidence ---unknown hair found in fist of victim in Delphi....

That ^^^^ was orchestrated and manufactured by the D with the help of BM and his SM minions. The JURORS were not unaware of those headlines and false facts.

So it does affect the state's case to have a false perception being amped up in the media by the D team's social media content creators. Public perception affects everything in its own way. Journalists pick a lane. Social Media picks a lane. And the majority of individuals just read bits and pieces and make up their minds too.
The state has to convince a jury imo so all this other stuff is just erroneous.

The chosen jurors thankfully will decide the case not social media.

It’s too easy imo for individuals to pick the social media that is convenient to your own view of the case, but ultimately and thankfully the jury is sequestered away from the legions of money making pro and against social media ‘influencers’

The searchers from the public were started later in the morning. Unsure of LEs start time, probably dawn. MOO time will come out at trial. LE called off search at 2am. Civilian searchers continued through the night.

Agree- she quickly dealt with two sets of recognised journalists who she felt had crossed the line.

But nevertheless she has admitted other journalists and given them passes so why not MS?

Is it possible there's some subjectivity involved in this decision? I'm trying to think of other journalists as polarizing as MS and can't think of any (aside from some YouTubers who call themselves journalists but haven't even tried to be recognized as such for this trial). Maybe JG just didn't want to deal with any possible pushback if she let them in. They have a lot of fans, sure, but in my opinion, they have an equal number of people who are not fans. Maybe she was just trying to cut off any drama before it started. Although there seems to be drama anyway since folks are upset about it, so who knows.

I think I'll stick with the theory that they are probably 1099 contractors and not employed full time and the original grantor made a mistake (or the policy changed last minute).

Either way, I support the decision.

As always, JMO.

In my opinion, I think we all say things from time to time, to our trusted friends, that we hope isn't released for public consumption. Sometimes maybe even things we'd like to do, but either have no way of actually doing it, or even if we did, never would. I suppose if the authorities were alerted to it and did nothing about it, it's a non-issue for BM, the defense team, or the trial.

That's true. However, this group was formed to actually try to do such things. That was the plan and some of it has been accomplished. Like taking over the headlines the night before the trial began, with the bogus 'hair in the fist bombshell.'

That hoax was orchestrated. Obviously the 'authorities' have nothing to say about it. But it is dirty tricks, unethical and will continue because they are bring in BM front and centre to continue this kind of BS.

I think tomorrow we will hear the testimonies of the first officers who arrived at the crime scene. I think we will learn tomorrow when the bullet was found. I bet it was found in the 14. Probably we will also will learn about the clothing, shoe/shoes, footprints etc, the crime scene in general.

This is what I'm most interested in. When and by whom.

That’s the problem with not being part of established news media, you can just get tossed when you don’t toe the line.
Honestly, I know that feeling very well. Almost 20 years ago I was a music jurno with one of the first digital-only outlets, and I got dogged real bad, my press passes were always 'B' and sometimes the access would get revoked last minute. Nowadays I see all the once-giant publications, having gone digital-only, relying on contractors for photos because music journalism is dead... Times are a-changing, always, and the faster we can facilitate for the new forms of media the better (and that includes holding them accountable and making rules they need to follow.)

All MOO

By "night before the trial began" do you mean the night before the opening statements?

I'm not sure it's a hoax....time will tell when the results come back from testing I guess.

Abby had on Libby's sweatshirt meaning her hand and arms went through the inside the sweatshirt, picking up whatever fiber and hairs would be there.
MOO is was determined to be a hair from a female.

I don't have an issue with who gets to see the exhibits, personally. There were members of the press (not MS) suggesting they would challenge her ruling because they believe that the rule means that all of the public has the right to view the exhibits, not just the press.

Additionally, initially Judge Gull did not want to give access to the press to view the exhibits, and there was a legal motion the Press raised that she felt was 'demanding' but ended up granting.

All MOO, if anyone can find the link to the tweets re: Press suggesting they will raise a motion for all the public to view exhibits, pls post it, thank you!

COURT ORDER (Granted in Part 16 Oct 24):

I've got nothing on the tweets. :(

I know Libby's cellphone has been discussed (possibly powering on or waking up around 4am). Has that been officially disclosed in any way (like in prelim testimony) or is it just speculation at this point?

Do we know if there was any damage to the phone (like sitting in pooled blood, scratched or impacted by a knife, etc.)? I realize it likely worked ok in order for LE to pull the BG video (unless her phone automatically saved data to a cloud storage location and info was pulled from there).

Also, what were temps, precipitation, and humidity that night?

TIA.

Part 1: Why Does My iPhone Keep Turning On and Off?

3 Hardware Problem

Sometimes a malfunctioning component can make your iPhone start turning on and off.

For example, this happens when your iPhone is dropped, exposed to liquid or the battery is damaged.

I'd need to hear more information before having an opinion. It isn't clear to me if it actually was familial or a stranger. Or what "wrapped around a finger" means. Is it possible Abby was a hero just like Libby and wrapped it around her own finger unbeknownst to her killer(s)? (This is an opinion, a theory).

Regardless, I'm super interested in hearing more about this hair.

The phone may have gotten wet from the creek and/or sadly blood.
