I will be in and mostly out today due to some Veteran's activities that I'm participating in. I am hopeful for a verdict while I am away and occupied!
I have full confidence and faith in this jury and their ability to sift through the chaff to get at the wheat.
Bridge Guy: Richard Allen places himself at the scene at the proper time and also states that he was eerily overdressed much as bridge guy. BG is seen and witnessed by others on the trail who have time and date stamped evidentiary photos and fitbits to prove that timeline.
Richard Allen: States during interviews that he has never been at the crime scene location and has never lent his gun to anyone. Richard Allen states that if the photo of BG was taken with one of the girls' phones, then it's not him. Richard Allen also changes his timeline in a show of guilty nowledge. Richard Allen's Sig Sauer P226 is shown to have cycled the cartridge that is found at the crime scene. Due to his experience in the National Guard, Richard Allen is more than capable of moving a 200lb person the distance testified to at trial. A car the same as Richard Allen's 2015 Ford Focus SE is seen on camera driving towards the parking area at the old CPS building that is consistent with his original statement to DD. That arrival timing is also consistent with his passing by of the group of juvenile females. He places himself on platform one of the bridge and looks up to see BB who also sees him and her timing of this sighting is backed up by the data from her fitbit.
Firearms Forensics: Richard Allen's weapon is shown to have cycled the round. The Defense 'expert' views mere photographs and never the evidence itself. The exert claims that the issue is comparing a fired casing to an unfired, but cycled round. The issue with that experts 'opinion' is that the comparison identification is not based upon the striations that occur with a firing of the cartridge. Rather, it is the very "ejector markings" that are compared bewteen the two. Ejector markings do not change with 'firing'. They are caused only by the ejection - either of the fired cartridge or an unspent round. A firing action of the weapon itself does not change or alter the markings caused by the ejector mechanism.
LE: LE at the crime scene carried 9mm. 9mm are not the same as Sig Sauer P226 .40 cal rounds that Richard Allen posesses and which was seized during the
search warrant executed at his home. Nothingburger.
Confessions: Written confessions and recorded confessions. To his wife, his mother, the warden, Dr. Wala, his inmate companions, to guards; who else? Some
pre-dating his alleged period of "psychosis" and some
post-dating that period.
The Cellphone: The cellphone that Libby used to capture her kidnapper and killer. The kidnapper and killer of her best friend Abby as well. The cell phone that moved down the hill and across the creek. The cell phone that ceased all movement at 1432hrs on 13 February 2017 and was never moved again until after the girls were discovered deceased.
The Defense 'expert' who answered the second from the Jurors with a "shaded statement" that
was just not factual:
Q2: Could any of this be related to Libby’s iPad?
A: Eldridge says they were not synced.
The headset being plugged in. The Juror's will remember that the phone and the
ipad were indeed synched because they'll remember the very
testimony about the officer tracking the phone numbers popping up on her
ipad screen while Libby was still missing. The testimony about the photo for the funeral. That although the phone and ipad were synched, the officer couldn't get into the
ipad though because it was locked.
Q3: Would water impact movement?
A: Eldridge says no, that water would not impact the port.
Really?? A supposed IT & cell phone Analyst expert just stated that water does not affect ports? I'm surprised that the Jurors did not LOL at this statement as my 8 year old granddaughter is familiar with the old bag-o-rice remedy as I also suspect the Jurors are. As is everyone on this site who is actually being honest. This all brought out on cross and therefore I'm certain the Jurors will weight this 'expert's' testimony with as much weight as it deserves = ZERO.
Indeed, I have every faith and confidence that this Jury will assess and weigh everything. I also have faith that this jury has common sense and will exercise it it rendering their verdict.
Occam's Razor. IMO.
