I'm thinking the Defense expert made a mistake with labelling him 'a fragile egg.' I don't think that jives with the feisty, angry man they saw in some of the police interviews. IMO
What’s kind of interesting is that he sits there all docile in court, yet we’ve also heard that he’s out of control at the jail, screaming and threatening to kill guards.

I’d be interested to know if that behavior has overlapped with trial.

That’s a problem imo with diagnosing psychosis since it’s by observation only. If I was a juror I’d have wanted it explained how eating and smearing oneself with feces is a symptom of psychosis. JMO

Maybe they were implying that that’s what he became while incarcerated pretrial vs who he was before? I don’t know… moo
I may be wrong, but it seemed she was also talking about him being a fragile egg while he was working his various jobs, and having emotional meltdowns and crying in fetal position, and needing his wife to help him recover.

I think she wanted the jurors to think of him as a weak fragile passive man during 2017, especially. IMO

or ...
RA's phone wasn't in the geofence dumps b/c he wasn't there during the timeframe of the dumps.
We have no information about the dumps. Neither does the jury. Not sure why we're inventing stuff about dumps that ... now we can confirm ... have not been entered into evidence.
JMHO
We know the tower dumps went back to at least 12:39pm because the defense told us they did.

Does anyone doubt that RA visited (his mother in) Peru that morning, bought a 6 pack of beer, which he drank in two installments, went home for a jacket before going to the MHB?

Seems very linear, coherent. Rings true.

But we're not going to believe him when he says he saw the girls, didn't particularly care about their ages, followed them, ordered them down the hill, did something to his gun which result in a spilled cartridge, was spooked by a van and moved them across the creek where he 'cut their throats' before trying to conceal their bodies with branches?

I believe him.

I doubt that since a Carhart style jacket and jeans is a lot of men’s non working day attire and sometimes work clothes for laborers. Shirt and footwear and out the door. If it’s cold, a sweatshirt under said Carhart jacket. It’s ubiquitous all across the northern states coast to coast.
The subject was involving the locals, not everyone coast to coast. It’s much more than simply the clothing. I’m fine with your opinion though.

EBM to not be quite so snarky

It is a very weird crime scene. The sticks and branches do seem to be purposely placed, and not as concealment. One girl unclothed and the other with two sets of clothing. And blood on Libby running up her face instead of down her torso. Moving at least one of the bodies 20 feet, but no drag marks.

It makes no sense, but that does not seem to be the scene of someone who hastily murdered these girls after being spooked by a van on the other side of the creek. IMO whoever did this took them right to that spot and spent some time there. It also seems more consistent with more than one bad guy.
BBM

What do you mean by “two sets of clothing”?

9 a.m.: Jury deliberation continues Saturday

8:57 a.m.: Vans transporting jurors arrive at Carroll County courthouse

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Saturday is Day 20 in the trial of Delphi Murders suspect Richard Allen at the Carroll County Courthouse in Delphi – and the second full day of jury deliberations.
I didn’t realize the jurors “work” on the weekends. I’m sure they all just want to go home. Obviously they’re not in agreement yet and I just hope each juror stands their ground and doesn’t give in due to pressure either way. IMO

One of the sketches looks similar the other one no.
But this is a photograph and im comparing to other photographs.
Not a sketch
Imo
No mention of sketches by me - I’m trying to explain perception from one person to another. Simply put, no two people see things the same 100% of the time. That could be one reason why others do not see what you do.

I’m not sure a hung jury will work out in RA’s favor. There is probably a higher chance of conviction if he’s tried a second time because the prosecution will be able to prepare for the very narrow defenses the defense has brought up. The prosecution went with the same facts they’ve had the entire time, so I’m not sure getting another swing at it will benefit the defense at all. Many people that believe RA is innocent have said it time and time again - they were waiting for more than what was in the PCA or public knowledge. If this goes to a second trial, the prosecution only has ground to gain and the defense ground to lose.

One ought to hope for not guilty so he’s released, or conviction so appeals can start right away.

Just a question whike we await a verdict --

Could RA have walked home? Returned for his car outside of the range of CCTV viewing, even after dark?

He could have told KA he was looking at fishes and fell in the creek, didn't want to get the car dirty....

JMO
I always thought he walked home myself. moo

Do you guys think it's possible the sticks were used to move Libby?

I seen a video where a stretcher was made out of sticks.

MOO

I personally wouldn't count much out on what and why RA did what he did. His actions that were revealed during his incarceration tell me he is capable of anything. And, his actions do not need to be sane. Of course I must take into account RA was not afraid of the guards and knew they would not harm him.

Unlike being in a bar, where his actions and words could have caused him harm from others. Thus we have the friendly, quiet little guy.

My number one theory is RA ran like a rat when he heard people calling out his victim's names.

My heart and thoughts are so very much with the families. How much more pain and torture can they endure?

The D weren't allowed to bring certain things in that they wanted to though, in this current trial.

I think they did a great job under the circumstances imo.
It doesn't bother me the D wasn't allowed. Because Gull ruled, repeatedly, that the attorneys have failed to produce admissible evidence related to Odinism.

Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable for a reason. The witnesses described who/what they saw on the trails to the best of their ability relying on recollection/memory based on momentary/passing glances IOW, without the benefit of looking at/studying a side by side photo comparison.

Carhartt jacket over sweatshirt so what, I live in the Northeast and they’re popular here in certain rural areas too especially in the White Mountain area. I see this in a lot of cases where some explain away one or two pieces of evidence and sure you can do that all day long, but it’s all the pieces of evidence taken together, the totality, is what’s important in a circumstantial case.
Common sense, logic, and critical thinking goes a long way.

Back to the side by side photo posted upthread, it is glaringly obvious TO ME with the benefit of studying and comparing which again the eyewitnesses did not have the benefit of, the overall body type/frame is very similar and what really stands out to me especially so is the lower part-
the short stubby-like legs are unique and imo, exactly the same.
