Would you happen to know which parking lot Richard Allen was trying to explain to Detective Mullins and Sheriff Liggett in his first interrogation interview?

The only parking lots that have been documented by everyone in this case through video or pictures are 1. The old CPS building, which is a very small lot. 2. The Freedom Bridge parking lot which is right next to the Freedom Bridge and 3. The Mears Farm entrance parking lot (which is where Abby and Libby were dropped off).

When I found this new parking lot on the north side of Arnold Street it is only a little directly west of the Freedom Bridge so if it had been there in 2017 I thought it would be a good place to park. Are there any pictures showing it was not there in 2017?

If that parking lot at north Arnold Street was not there in 2017, what other parking lot is Richard Allen referring to in his first interrogation? What is the location of this parking lot Richard Allen is referring to in his first interrogation?

Richard Allen never mentioned crossing any bridges to get to the trails. He has always stated he entered the trails through the Freedom Bridge trailhead.

He told Dulin in February 2017 that he parked at a building across from Anderson's. I.e. the old CPS building.

Imo in 2022 he was trying to say that he parked at the pavement lot by the bridge titled "Monon High Bridge" labeled in the map @INfisherman posted.

However he told Mullin and Liggett that if The old CPS building is where he told Dulin he parked then that is probably where he parked.

In order for the sequence of events to be correct, what would have to happen is Richard Allen would have to pass the Mears parking lot where he sees the SUV and sedan about 1:45 pm.. He then walks to the Monon High Bridge to stand on platform 1. Then BB would have to get out of her SUV and walk to Monon High Bridge a few minutes later to see Richard Allen standing on platform 1. Then a few minutes after that Abby and Libby would have to be dropped off, or if it was their sedan get out, to walk to Monon High Bridge while BB is walking back from Monon High Bridge so they can be spotted by BB halfway down the 501 trail.

Richard Allen never came back to sit on the 505 trail bench at the Mears parking area. That was a lie.

Is this sequence of events correct?

It really was luck.

According to Richard Allen's story during his first interrogation, he went to the Monon High Bridge, was on platform 1 to look at fish, then walked back to the intersection of the 501 and 505 trail and sat on the bench that overlooks the creek facing away from the trail. Then he says it could have been as late as around 1:45pm when he left.

When you listen to the interrogation, when he says "he left", I think he means when he got up from the bench at the 505 overlooking the creek to walk back down the trail to leave. According to Richard Allen, he turns around at that bench and sees a sedan and SUV in the Mears parking lot.

But could he have seen Liberty German's older sister's car? Is that the sedan he is referring to? I am not referring to the older sister having anything to do with the crime. I do not think that at all. What I want to know is did police every figure out who the driver of the sedan was?

He was very lucky to come up with the story he did because as people have pointed out he actually referenced the type of vehicles he saw in the Mears parking lot that day.

I don't think he came up with that story, I think he actually seen those cars'. I mentioned BB's and KG's vehicles because RA described vehicles they had, BB/SUV and KG/Sedan, as being at Mears' entrance at the same time.

1:46 p.m. BB drives East past HHS to park at Mears' entrance.
Around 1:47 p.m. / 1:48 p.m. KG arrives with Libby and Abby at the Mears' entrance.
1:48 p.m. Libby unplugs her phone from KG's car. 1:49 p.m. KG leaves driving West past HHS

RA also mentions that after he sat on the bench, he walked back down the... (he pauses) and then he says he left.

There is no reason for RA's car to be driving West past HHS at 1:27 p.m. if he was leaving at that time. He was without a doubt arriving and going to park at that time.
Remember he has always stated he entered the trails at the Freedom Bridge trailhead, which is West of HHS.

I really want to know what RA could see from the platform. And did he follow BB all the way back to the Mears lot? Think about that. If the girls passed him much closer to their arrival, it very much would have felt like he was leaving, even if it didn't click for them the there was only one car.

I know GH did a great job mapping out these intricate movements ... but it's still a struggle for me to move the cogs.

BB turned and then encountered Abby and Libby, but if RA was essentially right behind her (without her awareness), then they met BB and RA relatively close together, maybe they assumed they were together. Or is it too much of a straightaway, BB would have known he was behind her?

I need someone to come drag me out of the reeds.

Let me expose my utter inability to read a map and/or process logistics. What is visible, in February from the 1st Platform? Any parking lots and or access roads to them?

RA tried really hard to confuse where he parked or how he got back to it. Wanted NOTHING to do with EVERYTHING that happened after 2 pm.

New narrative: arrived at 12, left at 1:30, but no sale. No one who was there them so hom there then.

Still sticking to his story that he was on the first platform, then went and sat on the bench, then left by a route he couldn't articulate, this man who knows the bridge and trails intimately.

Curiously he has NO NARRATIVE for after the bench, for the other side of 2 pm. Nothing for 2:14, 2:20, 2:28, 2:32.... 4:47, (or whatever time ot was when SC saw him).

He wants LE to think he left from the bench. At 2 pm.

He didn't. He couldn't have.

Because witnesses placed him there at 2:14. And 4something.

The bench was the last decent thing he did that day. It's where he took leave of humanity and kicked off an hour of grave depravity.

Didn't want to talk about THAT, felt far more comfortable arguing about the bullet and the photograph because he was certain on those (wrong as he was) and extraneous Anything Else But that day from 2 pm onward.

I think you are spot on.

And until quite recently he had his own underage girl right in his own home, and with that, perhaps a friend list of similarly aged guests from time to time. One doesn't need to be awake to be fantasy fodder. Not all assaults involve touching.

2/13 might not have been his first time taking souvenirs. A man capable of abduction two little girls, forcing them to undress, spending 14 minutes with them in one location before moving them across water to another where he murdered them and took souvenirs didn't develop that sick desire that afternoon. We will never know what evidence was washed away in the creek, just as we'll never know if BK had a history of collecting panties and socks.... Hard to imagine him ignoring a slumber party....

This is the view of the trail intersection. The trail that goes to the High Bridge goes straight. The Mary Gerard Nature Preserve trail forks off to the right. The bench that overlooks the Creek is to the right.



This is the view of the Mears' Entrance. In reference to Photo 1 the person has turned left at the barricade and walked about 15 feet straight.

You can see this barricade in background of the Snap chat photo of Abby on the Bridge. The barricade was in front of the High Bridge. It was approximately 50 feet from the start of the Monon High Bridge.

Richard Allen did live in Illinois away from his family for a year or so when he managed a South Chicago Walmart.

There is multiple unsolved murders' of women dating back to around 2000 in South Chicago. Reports mention strangulation and that probably multiple serial killers have been responsible for these deaths' over the years.
Not saying RA is involved in any of them btw.

I believe it’s coming from the 2022 interview with SM & TL. RA is all over the place, bringing up things in a very wishy-washy manner, particularly when asked to show where he parked.

He said to SM & TL (~18:45 mark) that "I know it wasn’t over there (Mears entrance) because I told him (DD) about some cars that were over there so I know I didn’t park over there so I would have parked over on the bridge side of things."

Go to the 15:00 mark & listen to it - he is absolutely just talking nonsense & trying his best to muddy the waters IMO. Talking about backroads (300N), coming out of town & this road Y’s & there is houses (~18:00) then it turns into a lane then there’s a bridge (footbridge), then touching on the Mears entrance (at one time they didn’t want you parking there). It just seems like evasive jibberish.
