GUILTY Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #220

  • #1,101
I was thinking that early on the "talk" was that there was DNA.. but perhaps from an pet (dog or cat) or even perhaps a deer.

I'm wondering if that there was some animal hair on one of the victims clothing and it probably tested as deer or squirrel and that was a dead end.

Might just be me though
There was a hair from KG, because they borrowed a sweatshirt. There was a trip across the creek - and a killer who was DNA aware.

I also cannot imagine what the girls felt in that impossible situation.

They were all alone. Way out in the middle of nowhere where even a scream wouldn't be heard and if so, nobody could have been able to locate where it was coming from.

Hopelessly being held at gun's point, with an evil man who they knew would either R and/or kill them.

The only thing they could possibly have done and would have been (and only if they KNEW FOR CERTAIN they were going to get killed) would be to run.

But they were so terrified.

I have ZERO empathy for consequences going on in the Allen family now. NONE.
We have to teach our kids to scream ans run! If you can't do that, then fight! Never go anywhere with a stranger....ever.

Great point to never go anywhere with a stranger, but sometimes the bad person isn't a stranger. I don't think that's the case with Abby and Libby, but they might have known him, or aware of him since he worked at the local pharmacy. The population of Delphi back in 2017 was ~2885.

And as we all know, they didn't willingly go with him, regardless of whether he was a total stranger, or someone they'd seen around town.

This is undoubtedly true, but they didn’t go off with a stranger.

They went together to that scary bridge, and the stranger cornered them.

Perhaps if it were only one girl, she could have outrun him. But they seemed to not want to abandon one another, and if he were brandishing a gun they were really and truly captured, as seems to be the case.

My daughter is 31 now and we taught her back when she was young like 8 or 10 years old, to scream and if she was riding a bike and someone tried to grab her, to scream and hold onto the bike with all of her might. Don't let go. they can't get you into a car with a bike hanging on you.

Thank goodness nothing like that ever happened. it is hard for adults to even do the same and scream. Temporary paralysis and deer in the headlights. We are all subject to that.

But there have been cases where someone escaped kidnapping even though you never know up front you would have been murdered.

By no means was any of this their fault. They were children and an evil adult had a gun and forced them to go with him. Nobody was near by to scream to.

So sad.. I wish someone, anyone, would have been fishing or hiking on the other side and could have spooky RA into leaving without harming those two wonderful girls.

Would have been a good day for the bridge collapse. As Abby stepped off it, while he was still on it.

Hell could have had him early.

Evil troll.

This is put so well, thank you-I agree.

The info about RA calling his mother days after the crime is from the Murder Sheet couple's new book. I haven't read it yet but Kevin and Aine shared that part in a media article when promoting their book.
Sometimes I wonder if RA was reading the scanner chatter here. On Page 10 there is mention of finding a cigarette butt in the water that was 2-3 days old.

Today being Halloween it occurs to me that everything we need to know about RA we can learn from Chucky.

Despite his small size Chucky has the strength of a full grown man.

When not pursuing his love of blood and gore Chucky lays innocently in his box like a normal doll.

There is a Bride of Chucky but I haven’t seen that one.

all imo

I know some killers have been found reading and even posting to the Reddit threads related to their crimes. So it is entirely possible it has happened here too.

Attorneys for Richard Allen are still working to appeal his conviction in the Delphi murders case. On Monday, Allen's defense team filed evidence in the case that they believe links the murders of Abby Williams and Libby German to a group of Odinists.

The 1,200 pages of material released Monday are from the Franks hearing held in September 2023, and they contain loads of evidence related the Odinism theory along with several depositions of key investigators.

You can find the evidence and depositions here:

On the one year anniversary of Richard Allen's conviction I am thinking of the girls and their loved ones. May peace be theirs. may the noise of appeals be nothing more than white noise to them.

This will probably go nowhere. RA admitted to being on the bridge in the same clothes as bridge guy. Also, he corroborated the story that a white van spooked him to the other side of the creek.

He killed the girls and the jury unanimously agreed. End of story.

Laughable.
I thought appeals were limited to arguing points of law, not rehashing trial evidence.
I just lost all respect for his appeals attorneys. Sounds like they went to the same clown college his unethical trial lawyers did.

Apparently the appeals clowns are trying to argue that the Odinists fantasy should have been allowed into the trial.
RA’s unethical lawyers had three entire days, pretrial, to show any type of connection to the murders and could not do it. No one, no one, not even their star investigator Todd Click was able to place any of their pagan suspects in Delphi that day. The man testified to it! Under oath! He found no evidence of them in Delphi that day!
This is a farce.

I don’t disagree but they have to try something & evidently they feel this is their best shot. Let them bring it so it will finally put an end to their last hope. I want to see this last flame of hope extinguished right in the convicted murderer’s face, just like he watched the flicker of life fade from the 2 victim’s eyes. Let him feel what that’s like, to lose all hope. Let his closest defender feel it too, as she knew who she saw on that bridge when LE was asking for help. Oh, it’s not far from over now, sweetheart. Just keep doing what he tells you to do & what to believe; look where it’s gotten you so far.

It doesn’t matter who represents him nor what story they wish to conjure up. No one can get the short, scaly troll off the bridge.

This is only completion of the trial record. There will be another 30-40 days & we will have what the appellate team plans to officially appeal, IIUC.

I am almost to the point where I don’t care - those who believe the murderer is innocent will just cry that another biased judge was involved. KA’s interview paints a much clearer picture of what this cretin was like - selfish to the core (gun in mouth episode). I’d suspected they lived in Greenwood for a period of time & now that’s been confirmed. The people of Johnson County are very lucky it wasn’t them in the spotlight when he decided to prey on 2 innocent girls.

Downward spiral in 2017.
Later committed to a mental health facility for 6 months.

She missed more red flags than a blind bull.

Don't want to be critical, as KA is also a victim. But will just say they are not the most inquisitive spouse.
