So potential LWOP for the remaining charges? IMO, murderers deserve the deserve the death penalty, but many don't even get life sentences. I have a former classmate who served 20 years in prison for murder and was paroled, and someone where I worked was sentenced to 35 years for a murder he committed.

At least the backpack evidence is coming in, so a conviction should be fairly easy.
