Something I’ve been thinking about for a while: the thing I am most interested in right now is confirmation of the murder weapon, and whether or not it actually was a box cutter.
RA had a collection of blades, right? It seems very weird to me that he’s finally making real this dark fantasy or whatever, and despite all the weapons at his disposal he goes for the CVS issued box cutter.
And more importantly, killing TWO people with a box cutter suggests an extreme amount of confidence in one’s ability with a bladed weapon.
This is not at all to cast doubt on wee Ricky’s guilt, I absolutely believe he did this. It’s more to cast doubt on the idea that it was his first time.
He literally says what he was wearing. We can see the man in the video wearing the same clothing he admits to wearing. And there in lies the problem.
You can’t convict someone based on what some witnesses recall they may have been wearing (which none of them even agreed upon, there were differing reports of what BG was wearing) this is where reasonable doubt comes in.

“there’s no path here, we got to go down here” is very interesting to me.This was posted:
ummm no, but it is a handgun, which would be allowed to be carried while hunting and OP original question was if hunting was allowed in the area, and the answer is yes-
is allowed in the area, on private property- (and other places) with varying degrees of licensing and permitting and regulations around days, dates, times and bag limits -
I don’t think the S & W is a small game weapon (or at least not a practical normative one-)
I was speaking to hunting in the area and the right to carry handguns while hunting

I think that the bullet introduced as evidence is likely tied to RA’s- I think the collection of the evidence and timeline of events perhaps leaves room to introduce doubt as to the fact that the bullet from the crime scene is actually the same bullet introduced into evidence-If this was some type of shooting range you might have something but I do not believe it is. If they positively tie it to Richard Allen’s gun then case closed. Just my opinion
Were there dozens of other UNSPENT cartridges in the area of the crime scene? Or even any others? Or any bullets that were shot in that area? I don't think there were any collected or even mentioned.
Even if they weren’t switched the testing on unfired bullets is basically junk science.I think that the bullet introduced as evidence is likely tied to RA’s- I think the collection of the evidence and timeline of events perhaps leaves room to introduce doubt as to the fact that the bullet from the crime scene is actually the same bullet introduced into evidence-
do I personally think that they were switched somehow- no not likely- could a different chain of events and documentation have removed my doubt or not had questions come to mind in the first place- yes -

Unless you are killing a snake you just stepped on or another critter up close. But I agree long guns are used for hunting larger game. And shotguns and rifles are used in the woods. In general...Not handguns
Maybe I’m mixing up my cases- weren’t they found on private property?Hunting may’ve been allowed elsewhere but it definitely wasn’t allowed on the Monon High Bridge Trail.

Every single piece of evidence could be an issue theoretically.I think that the bullet introduced as evidence is likely tied to RA’s- I think the collection of the evidence and timeline of events perhaps leaves room to introduce doubt as to the fact that the bullet from the crime scene is actually the same bullet introduced into evidence-

I’m confused, are there two different videos?@KylaBRussell
Also of note, there’s been some back-and-forth between people in the courtroom as to whether a man could be seen from afar in the video. The video was slowed down and screenshotted. In a few of those screenshots, testimony said you can see a man in the distance.

Agreed-and handguns are often carried for a variety of reasons while hunting or otherwise- mooUnless you are killing a snake you just stepped on or another critter up close. But I agree long guns are used for hunting larger game.
A 40 S & W would be a poor choice for hogs I’m willing to bet very few use them for that..40 caliber hand guns are used often times for hog hunting
