@NewsyBarbara

I’ll be heading into court soon for Day 16 in the Delphi Murders Trial. We expect Dr. Monica Wala to be called by the defense, as well as the defendant’s wife Kathy Allen. Trial is scheduled through November 15, but is expected to wrap up early. Jurors are sequestered -

And those who wish to vote were told to vote early before arriving for jury selection. They will not be given a chance to vote today as their home county is 2 hours away.

Thirteen months in Westville in solitary confinement might cause a person to develop some deep-seated anger. I wonder what happened to trigger it.

We've found that putting inmates in solitary for extended periods of time was very beneficial to their mental problems said No One Ever.
But it is beneficial to being alive, under RA's "fragile egg" circumstances and of being an accused double child killer. No doubt about that. Is he sharing a cell at County?

Richard Allen's attorney Brad Rozzi said he would like to ask Lt. Holeman: "If there were a big crime scene photo on Richard Allen's computer of human girls with sticks on them, would it be used as evidence against Richard Allen?" Two other suspects supposedly had Facebook posts like that. Neither was charged.#DelphiTrial #RichardAllen #JusticeForAbbyandLibby

Neuropsychologist Dr. Polly Westcott testified that Richard Allen's mental health breakdown was genuine. What's your view -- if he was in psychosis when he confessed, does this make his confessions too unreliable to consider?#DelphiTrial #RichardAllen #JusticeForAbbyandLibby

No, it shows elevation gain only. It’s also slightly inconsistent, as others have pointed out. More accurate when you’re walking longer distances at a steady rate or climb.

Mine massively underestimates daily steps, e.g at home or work when I’m only moving a very short distance at a time.
Thank you for the elevation info. I have Fit on an Android and it counts steps but doesn't show them until I've walked for a minute.
Since a man's life is partly dependent upon Libby's app, I hope it was not inconsistent.

As far as I understand it and as far as the prosecution reported in their filings, the cells and conditions at Cass are virtually identical to at Westfield, except he doesn’t have nearly as much access to mental health and medical resources at county jail.

Did BR say this with jury present? I had thought the introduction of a ritual angle was off the table in the courtroom.

Murder Sheet laid out the testimony of BW yesterday pretty well. One of the things they pointed out is that he seems to get hung up on precise language, so when Baldwin asks if an investigator called him to come to the police station, BW says that never happened. It gets clarified that he was called, but was not asked to go to the police station.

Ultimately, BW stuck to his testimony last week that he went straight home after work. He appears to have been very cooperative with the investigation in 2017, was interviewed multiple times, consented to a bunch of searches, voluntarily gave up his firearm, volunteered to take a polygraph, etc.

If he'd have only told the truth FIRST all those years ago he would have probably been able to avoid much of what caused him (allegedly) to become a "fragile egg" due to his prison experience. It's not a party in there, after all. He was no fragile egg on that bridge, Abby & Libby were. imo

Who is to say he wasn't already telling the truth in those initial 20-25 "I didn't do it!"admissions during those two interrogations, but especially October 26th, 2022.

Just watching Court TV, and Tommy Pope, a former prosecutor, made a couple good points. He said the prosecution needs to focus on the bullet evidence, and not get bogged down in all this confession stuff, as it's their best evidence.

He also talked about the prison videos of Allen being a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand they can help the defense in undercutting the confessions (showing his mental state), but on the other hand they can help the jury to envision the "monster" who would kill these two girls, especially if he's acting violent.

So he's still all by himself but this time he's probably dealing with other inmates who are most likely more local than those in Westville or Wabash. He's still acting out, pretty consistent behavior and this time there's not the advocates to help. I wonder if he's on suicide watch?

Can somebody explain first parts of this statement to me?
Male DNA in a genital swab!!
Is she suggesting the girls may have had a penchant for sharing male underwear or that some males in their families wore theirs from time to time?
Quite astounding really. These girls were underage. There should have been no male DNA anywhere near their genitalia.

She's not very complete in her reporting and it leaves an incorrect implication hanging there.

"Neither was charged" because alibis cleared them and there was found to be no nexus to the involvement of either in Abby and Libby's murders.
