Just throwing this out there as it’s interesting how different people see things differently.

Hubby is a wildlife artist and carver for reference.

He took one look at the drawing of the girls and the branches and exclaimed that the killer was making “frames” for each girl.

A branch across the neck to hide, or try to hide the wounds, then the others to build a frame.

ETA: Hubby said his eye was directed inside the frame. He saw that first. He recognized framing.

Whoa! Never occurred to me but didn’t LE say st one point they thought the killer may have taken pictures?

I don’t know why the purpose of the sticks/branches was, but I don’t think they were for concealing the bodies. There were lots of leaves on the ground he could’ve used to cover LG especially. Her skin tone would stand out more than AW’s darker clothing against brown leaves.
Leaves blow away, sticks do not.

The gag order doesn't apply to people who "knew him." They could have been speaking about him all this time if they wanted to, in my opinion.

I hope we hear from the jurors too!!
They may not want to have impaired the trial for the girls. It is a small town. Most people will want to do the right thing for the community.

snipped by me, Yes iirc and that's probably why his phone at that time magically disappeared but for the other 20 that didn't.

Goodness AB looks like he's aged 10 years in this photo. Wow JMO
I would too if I’d had my office infiltrated & evidence photographed by "accident " by a former coworker. ;)

As we wait for a verdict, my thoughts go to the deceased children, and their families.
Now knowing some of the details of the horrific manner in which they were slaughtered, I am distressed imagining what the children endured. The abject fear, pain, and humiliation in their last moments, knowing they were dying.

Then, I think of the families left behind, and enduring seeing photos of the crime scene or even just the sketches. I was disturbed seeing the sketches, and can't even imagine the impact it had on the families. A crime imposed by only the most evil in society.

The children were murdered in the manner that cows and pigs are in a slaughterhouse, and then left posed for maximum impact for whomever had the horrifying task of finding them. Think about that for a second if you have even a twinge of sympathy for the accused.

The Defense is doing their job; attempting to create reasonable doubt with far fetched fables of unknown cults and rituals. Further, the Defendant has been attempting to create a case for insanity that is pathetic and transparent. He functioned just fine after the murders, working and participating in his routine life. He is not insane, he is evil.

As we wait for the verdict, my thoughts are with the families enduring, and trying to process the images (or sketches) of how the chlldren were left slaughtered in the woods. I also wonder how someone so depraved hasn't committed other unsolved offenses...

May justice be served.

Amateur opinion and speculation

A picture of Abby. MSM usually shares younger pictures of Abby but this is what she looked like around the time of her death. Beautiful young lady.

How does the jury review evidence? Is it just looking at exhibits, or are they allowed to address questions directly to the attorneys?

I see the defense team that has been brought in already.
Is the prosecution team there too?

WHAT?! I have never heard of a defendant or defense attorneys or prosecutors or anybody else being allowed to observe jury deliberations.
They can observe the jury look at evidence in the Courtroom but are not privy to any deliberations in the jury room .

He voluntarily went to the police an put himself in the area, so that's a given. His concern is disproving he's the one on the phone. I don't see how that's an issue. MOO
Criminals often try the tactic of simulating their idea of innocent behavior.
MOO He recognized the girls on the trail from CVS and thought they would remember him also. Only later did he realize they did'nt.

I think he's guilty but I do feel kind of disappointed in the representation he had I wish he had better attorneys i know people say "they're the best" but I just feel like they should have pivoted to a different strategy more when the Odin theory was not allowed. It seemed like they were banking on that and once it wasn't allowed they didn't have much. IMO

Seems like they were playing to the cameras and public opinion more than casting reasonable doubt on the state's case.
Actually, I'm disappointed in the investigation, the lack of evidence, the judge, the prosecution and the defense, LOL.

They are in separate rooms. RA is not in the same room w/the jurors. I know words can be misconstrued because I do it way too often. ;) Glad you asked.

Thank you to everyone who responded! :)

Wonder if that’s the skullcap & was in the BG still frame? That lip might have been what made it appear as if he was wearing a billed cap.

MOO

ETA I find the pics creepy for some odd reason - like was anything shown worn or there that day. Odd feeling I’ve not had before.
