I’m literally shaking. I’m sure many of us are.
I will respect the jury’s decision on a verdict.

Steeltowngirl you have great critical thinking skills! (and there are about 20 more Websleuths included and ‘I hope you know I mean each of you too!)Thank-you for all your contributions for Abby and Libby over 7.5 years. I am shaking too.Praying for precious Abby and Libby’s family and friends.

And another really sad part is that we will never know as the murderer will never admit to those horrific details.

I am sure Abby and Libby’s families have gone round and round in their minds of what exactly happened thousands of times.
I think this is what draws me to this case. As a mom I have let my children do things just like this. These girls had been taught well and it still happened. I feel so bad for the families. I pray they have the right guy and can get to another stage of grief when the trial is over. My Grandma said you never get over losing a child, you just learn to live with it.

Verdict is in!

DELPHI, Ind. – After getting the case on Thursday, jurors in the Delphi murders trial have come to a decision.

Both families will now have time to gather before the verdict is announced in the courtroom. Since cameras are not allowed in the courtroom, the decision will not be announced publicly until the media leaves.

At long last…my thoughts are with the families and loved ones of sweet Abby and Libby. xo

I want to be hopeful, but the fact that they are increasing police presence scares the heck out of me. Usually there is more need for LE protection if a defendant is found NG. Of course there are many of RA supporters around the court so...
I don't know.

I wondered the same thing but no one should know the verdict yet, right?

I should think that with a trial like this, there would be police presence guilty or not. We are talking about the murder of children here. No matter what emotions will be high.

NewsNation is covering it now on Live tv. Hoping to hear what time it will be read.

7 long years and it's finally happening. Prayers to the families of Abby & Libby today and always.

I’m thinking and praying for Abby and Liberty’s loved ones. Hopefully they will have the support they need to cope with the verdict whether it is guilty or not guilty. I think most of us here need a virtual group hug right now.

Oh they are still queuing, then there is the metal detector etc. I predict there is at least another hour until they read the verdict. Will try to keep hydrated and relax.

It's just precautionary. Other than the jury, nobody else knows the verdict at this time.

IMO

Doh, I only realised this about half a second before you posted! All good, just waiting and thinking of the families then.

I cannot believe everyone in the jury would have found him not guilty .
