Richard Allen may have been involved or guilty, but imo they did not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt and I simply don’t believe it was a one man job.

Regardless prayers to all families. Sad for those little girls no matter what.

Of course. It’s a capital case. It would be appealed if there was a guilty verdict regardless of evidence.

Great news on the verdict! Finally, 7 years in the making.

I didn't get to follow the trial as closely as I wanted to, I was busy with life stuff. Was it ever stated why the prosecution chose not to seek the death penalty in this case? Premeditated murders of children in heinous fashion with seemingly a sexual predatory component. Seems like the nature of the crime would fit the bill.

Now that guilty is a FACT the State is allowed to ask for the DP. Pretty sure, IMO & google.

Trying to stay caught up. This is so very hard, so very hard. The pain for this family and Libby and Abby. It's over, Libby and Abby testified. Those brave girls.

Now they can go rest in peace. They did a great job.

No justice for Libby and Abby, but finally some justice for family and friends of those little girls.

Yes, it’s hard to feel joyous when the guilty verdict doesn’t bring Abby and Libby back, but this is the next best thing.

At least Richard. Matthew. Allen. Of Delphi Indiana. CVS clerk. At last is uncovered as the monster that we knew he was.
