GUILTY Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #218

These were all choices made by the defense team.
They could have chosen to actually represent RA in his best interest, get him a psychological evaluation, get him help, plead him guilty because he was. But they chose instead to try and make this murder trial about prison conditions, and wrote fiction disguised as legal motions.
They could have treated all the sensitive evidence in this case with care and respect, but they chose to use it to try and manipulate public opinion by releasing it to their willing minions.
They could have treated the victim’s families gently and with respect but they chose to hint that the families might somehow be involved and encouraged their minions to harass the families by their silence on these actions by their fanboys and girls.
They are despicable, and, unethical in my opinion. In what class in law school were they taught to treat people this way? I hope they are all disbarred.
They are the worst that I have ever encountered in a high profile or any case, tbh. Not just the incompetent defense they put on, but the absolute cruelty to the victims families. It is baffling wondering just what kind of reaction they thought they would get from decent people.
I wouldn't trust them to handle a parking to ticket.

Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes to everything you’ve said here.

I’ve never seen the crime photos and never will, but I’ve heard plenty of the sickening details.

I have no quarrel with an ethical defense lawyer, although I have more of a “lock ‘em up” mentality, but I understand false accusations and everyone’s constitutional right to a defense.

But IMO these defense lawyers were whatever lies beneath the bottom of the barrel.

The extraordinary negligence leading to the leak of photos showing two females, in their early teens, NAKED or semi-nude and TORN UP is so far past abominable; it’s truly reckless and unbelievable. Also of course it led to a suicide.

IMO as a layperson, that degree of negligence, and the aftermath, is enough to disbar them, if not imprison them. Morally if not legally I wish this would happen.

Another good article from the local Caroll County newspaper interviewing county prosecutor NM.

qwerty
LOL!
This was meant as a placeholder kinda thing. Accidentally and unknowingly posted.
Sorry about that.
@StarryStarryNight
"Accidentally and unknowingly posted."
^ You are are not alone. Some of the rest of us have done the same.
NGL, I've made more than my share of posting boo-boos. ;) LOL.

No need for apologies.

Same here, never saw the photos. Completely agreed, even if it was purely accidental, what is that telling us about these attorneys?

They kept insisting they thought he was innocent. We all saw what they put forward, it didn't convince LE, it didn't personally convince me, it didn't convince many others on here, and it didn't convince the jurors. I don't understand why it so thoroughly convinced them, moo. I guess now they'd come back saying the excluded Odinism info convinced them. We all heard it, again, didn't convince LE, didn't convince me, didn't convince many on here-- but would have confused and distracted a jury. I've always been convinced RA went there that day knowing these sweet young girls were on the bridge. I suppose you could say this would lead some to think others may have been involved. So maybe so, that never excluded him, however.

I don't know how anyone would ever in their wildest dreams want these attorneys representing them, but it's jmo. Disgraceful, again jmo.

Would some nice person here kindly explain to me why it is that the RA supporters criticize everyone in this case except the defense attorneys? They praise the DT team as if they walk on water but the DT utterly failed,IMHO, to give their client a competent defense.
They cry about the harsh treatment, akin to torture according to them, that poor little RA suffered at the hands of a corrupt prison system, corrupt judge, corrupt LE, yet they never answer me when I ask them why didn't his attorneys protect him if this occurred? How many times and ways are you supporters going to allow these attorneys to blame the judge for their mistakes and allow them to take zero responsibility.
Sorry to vent, but I believe my attempt to understand them has bruised my brain.
As someone who has always held strong reservations with respect to Allen's alleged guilt, I must admit I definitely share your sentiments regarding the lack of outrage among his supporters surrounding the gross incompetency of the Defense team since the beginning. They were the most shady and corrupt of them all, in my opinion!

Yep. To add, it’s also the continued hype of all the other things other than debating that RA put himself on the bridge, wearing the clothes & changing his time at the trails. Everyone else in the investigation & prosecution is lying or just wrong, according to these people. While the defense pushes the SODDI, their SM minions just keep throwing ridiculous ideas & absolute lies out there for the starved to consume. So many people think they know what transpired yet their words/posts tell me otherwise. Lots of lounge chair attorneys out there & people who are just so far off base.

Rozzi did wear nice ties though.
Yes, the DPG and Internet cranks were sucking up to him by complimenting his vast array of ties, take that for what it's worth.

I'd rather be an ethical Defense Attorney putting on a vigorous and competent Defense of my client than a spiteful, losing one making a fashion statement.

I honestly do believe there are good and ethical Defense Attorneys who are imperative and essential to the Judicial Process and an accused's 6th Amendment Rights.

Rozzi, Baldwin and Auger are not those.
