Probably way above my technical pay grade.

The trial was open to the public, just not to everybody, and certainly not to the internet, but it was open. The evidence was viewed.

Crimes against children, maybe she had more latitude. But is she required to release it if it was already viewed in real time? Has she given a reason?

I don't know that TMS has addressed the topic.

Do you mean transparency of the trial itself?

They weren't fans of the media blackout, to be sure. Disagreed with the judge. Didn't like the procedure for gallery seats. No one did.

I think it does show their neutrality, for lack of a better word. Critical thought, impartiality.

They supported some of Gull's decisions, rejected others.

By and large, they were impressed with her control of her courtroom and give her high marks over all.

I'm talking mostly about the exhibits that media is pushing for.

He’s either lost his mind or lost his perspective, but you are right in that this has nothing to do with RA anymore. The escalating ridiculousness of his motions are approaching DECON Silly.
If RA or his wife or his mother or his daughter could possibly assemble one entire brain among themselves, they should tell Baldwin to shut up and let the appellate attorneys take over.

Edit: typo
I’m surprised the appellate lawyers haven’t told him to go away.

IIRC they did talk about this and felt they’d just have to wait until the judge releases everything

there is no particular reason to be demanding them today unless you have a publishing deadline.
I'm really pleased they didn't have that attitude in the beginning. I was a big fan of their early push for access to court records.

I guess there are some folks who just want to see what the relatively small group of the public got to see. I sure do. I can't wait for the Click report to come out.

I don't see any way for TMS to "win" when it comes to this issue. They do have a book coming out August 5th. If they push for documents to be made public, they'll be accused of just wanting them for their book. If they sit back and let others file and push, then somehow they are now trying to hide information.

There are other plenty of members of the Delphi coverage crew that are lawyers and press who could be leading the push for access.

Their stance makes sense. it’s all going to be released soon and other orgs are pushing. there is not much everyone can do but wait or hope one of the more resourced outlets gets stroppy.

it’s actually an example of why we need a proper free press who typically did used to support these kinds of challenges and pool resources.

those days are mostly over IMO

Judge Gull has already ruled that the CS photos and Autopsy Reports of Abby and Libby will remained sealed.

As they should IMO.

Becky in her interview with Lauren said Baldwin told RA to ignore the noise (victim statements) and he also said in an interview he rush up to RA afraid that RA would said something that prejudice his appeal. I don't understand Baldwin's problem. The final decision is ALWAYS form the client. Attorneys can advise, say "it is better for you that you don't said/do that" but if the client wants to say something/confess even if the attorney feel the client is innocent (right right), etc THE FINAL DECISION IS FROM THE CLIENT. If the client want to say something, he has that right. Unfortunately, RA is also a weak man and does not impose himself on his lawyers and wife.
I fully believe Baldwin and Rozzi did more harm to RA's case than good. Their conduct was completely unprofessional and I believe they used RA to further their 'fame and attention', with a book, TV rounds, movie or specials. Losing really threw a wrench in a lot of those plans. 🤭

They make me sick to my stomach, literally. Them and their Internet Cranks and Due Process Gang and their abhorrent online behavior. And of course, the ahem, "stolen" CS photos that were pushed out onto the net by Baldwin's good buddy and former employee. ;)

Did she happen to say exactly what was said that caused Baldwin to tell him to ignore the noise?
Was it something about waiving his right to appeal?

I do not think RL or KK are involved in this case. In my opinion, it is a lot of talk from a prison inmate. But a jury probably should have been able to decide whether RL or KK mattered. The case is circumstantially strong, but I would like to have a strange question answered.

The hat in the bridge guy video always left me wondering. If sketch #1 released in July 2017 was indeed influenced by SC, then there is something strange about it. In the sketch the person depicted is clearly wearing a hat and not a beanie. I know a witness cannot be expected to remember every detail, but I thought a sketch artist would let the eyewitness choose from a book of hats which came closest to the one they saw of the man walking along 300 N at around 3:57pm on February 13th, 2017(if eyewitness was SC). If it is Richard Allen in the bridge guy video, then I think he may have been wearing the same light brown beanie as the one he was recorded wearing while playing pool in a bar. I thought the eyewitness who helped make the July 2017 sketch would have chosen a stocking cap or a beanie as the hat bridge guy was wearing.

I believe it was more along the lines of Baldwin trying to keep RA as a client at all costs. MOO
Well, we already know how RA can’t control his temper when someone is blaming him for things, per the Holeman interview. I’d imagine that had a bit to do with it as well.

I suspect there are a lot of people who would have a difficult time controlling their temper during that interview (which I've only seen parts of). Referring to KA in the manner in which Holeman did would set most men off. MOO

…and yet still needed to be reminded to ignore "the noise" in public, in court, by their attorney after the fact. Sounds like someone who doesn’t have much self control under most circumstances or is just plain ignorant of what’s going on around them. Kind of like a child, lost without his mommy (or in this case his wife) to tell him what to do.

If you can fill me in on the details, I'd appreciate it.
ETA: Never mind. I Groked it; found what I was looking for.

She said she heard that comment from Baldwin to RA in the final of the day of the victims statements. I don't think something happened. Baldwin was just afraid that RA would say something, confess, apologize to families or etc who could prejudice his appeal.

Victim impact statements are heavy stuff and RA was probably medicated. I think Baldwin's response was possibly related to this quote below; he sure didn't want replays of what happened in Westville.

"You could've taken accountability," Libby's grandfather, Mike Patty, said to Allen. "You need to stand up and not appeal."
