GUILTY Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #220

My thoughts after watching the videos is that his wife seemed very timid. Almost like she was scared of him or scared of his reaction to what she told police. She reminded me of a child that was going to get scolded.

But she definitely said that he never told her he was out on the bridge. And she told police that he wouldn't allow her to participate in the search for the girls. Oh .. and he had an anger problem.

imo .. I think she seen the photo that was released and recognized it as her husband and he told her it wasn't him because he was never on the bridge.

I can't imagine the mental gymnastics she has went through since that day

moo
Oh I think she stopped with the mental gymnastics once Baldwin & Motta started whispering in her ear. She was livid coming out of the courthouse after the verdict. She swallowed his lies hook, line & sinker & like you said, she recognized him in 2017 & by 2023, at the latest, she made up her mind it wasn’t him.

MOO

This is pretty surreal.

He seemingly never once provided any alibi in either of those interrogation videos other than "you can't prove I did it"...I wasn't expecting to be so convinced again that he is 110% guilty after seeing his body language throughout and hearing his voice change.

It was interesting as well that he did not appear nearly as meek as led to believe during the interrogations or the confessions.

It's clearly evident and shown on video that he lied to Kathy about being on the bridge until the questioning began.

These videos are going to be overanalyzed to the upteempth degree and misconstrued due to his composure and continued usage of phrases like "I do not want to be the fall guy"...

God speed to the victims families as the media roller coaster takes another lap.
What did you think about the voice compared to LG’s video?

Me, I wouldn’t say it was definitively a 100% match due to the differences in the microphones doing the audio captures but there was a startling similarity in his delivery (timing), accent & timbre. They sounded quite similar in a way I find hard to pinpoint. They were convincing enough to me.

She grappled with "her person right or wrong" and lost the part where he has to be honest to deserve support through the consequences.

omg I forgot about how he wouldn't let her help find the girls! 😡

I remember early on I posted that I absolutely would know my husband by a picture. And I knew she did too. But he reaffirmed her that he was never on the bridge, and that is what she told LE.

In THAT room it hit her that he was guilty of doing this. She knew it!

From the first snippet of his voice to this, yes, voice is a match. Maybe DTH is not enough audio to be court worthy with some minimum sample required for the machine, but it's definitely enough for the human ear.

Exactly.

I believe he cadence changed throughout and it was within certain periods of confidence that it all audibly clicks together...

There were some very interesting peculiarities throughout these videos...

Take for instance his facial expressions when asked to explain the bullet matching the one within his keepsake box compared to the way he explains that no shell would be at the crime scene period.

In the keepsake box situation and other various times in the 2nd interrogation his facial expressions are those of a kid who was caught with his hand in a cookie jar, but I do believe he was convinced that he left the murder scene cleanly and was taken aback by the found match as was Kathy hearing of it all for the first time.

The fact that he failed to provide any retort other than "you can't prove it" to me was his biggest indicator, however.

"Lets just get this over with" and "do what you are going to do anyway" to me are acceptance of defeat and guilt without having to lose his ego to do so.

Yeah. His physical acting got quite repetitive & wasn’t convincing, particularly when he was left alone during the interview with Holeman. If I closed my eyes & listened, sure he sounded passionate & convincing when answering things at first but the same, short responses in repetition seemed like he was boxed in & didn’t want to get caught tripping up in a lie. He was good at avoiding those scenarios - he kept his story short & filled in with lots of I don’t knows. He was slick verbally during the interviews but his acting was atrocious, especially on the prison calls.

Not shutting up & bringing up getting a lawyer for himself was sort of telling - maybe his way of trying to find out what all they had on him. But to tell his wife to bring up a lawyer for HER while he was going to handle LE - just not normal.

Please note: I am posting the full original video from youtuber Tom Webster that contains the now-released audio calls between RA, his wife, and his mother. This video also contains the full released footage of both LE interviews with Ricahrd Allen.

Important: ONLY this particular video is approved by mods for this thread. No other Tom Webster videos are approved.

I watched through the entire video the night it was released live by Webster. I've noted a couple of comments as I watched along:

My own thoughts ths far:

No change to my opinions on it all; guilty as charged and found.

The real kicker for me was the first call to his wife on November 14th, 2022. Just after he found himself in jail.

Long before his lawyers even came along onto the scene. They talk about trying to get him lawyers. Which goes to prove that he did NOT have a lawyer on 28th October, 2022, at the Initial Hearing as the Defence alleged and as Kathy swore to in her affadavit. I personally think her butt should be charged for lying on a sworn statement. Kathy was well aware that RA did not have a lawyer on 28th October, but she signed & filed that affadavit, post-conviction, through the Defence to the official Court record alledging otherwise. At 8m 22seconds: Kathy: "You need to hang in there honey, OK? Hang in there because we're going to get you an attorney soon Okay?"

Guilty why?? Same phone call on 14th November. No psychosis and no drugs as he's only been in for 2 weeks, 4 days after his arrest. This is also the "I'll tell the detectives whatever they want to hear" phone call.

10 minute mark: double child killer says to Kathy, "You need to get the help you need. I can't help you. I can't tell you anything that's going to make you feel better". Kathy: "I know".

Yep, couldn't muster even a single "I'm innocent" or "I didn't do this and we're going to prove it". I'm sure that would have made her feel better. BUT, he knows darn well he did it, so he can't do or say a single thing that's going to make her feel better now that he's actually locked up and charged with the crimes. He only professed his innocense prior to actually being charged & put in jail. Wonder why? Perhaps trying to avoid being charged?

2 April 2023, phone call to mom:
13 minutes, 24 seconds: No confession, but RA discusses how he has now 'found' religion.

3 April 2023 phone call to Kathy:
24 minute, 12 seconds:
RA: "I did it. I did it. I killed ... I killed Abby and Libby." ...
Kathy: "They are messing with your mind." BUT he's had NO drugs or sedation as of this date.
Kathy: "They've messed up your (regular) meds or something there."
RA snaps back: "No I defintely did it." Important to note that RA was only on his regular meds at this point in time.
Kathy: "They are messing with your mind. ... They've done something to your food or they've done something to your meds."
RA: "I just wish they'd kill me or let me apologize to the families at least."
Kathy: "Don't talk anymore? Just don't talk anymore. I need to get ahold of somebody there."

4 April 2023:
How "convenient". RA suffers his alleged "psychological break" .... after confessing (April 3rd call above) to wifey with Dr. Wala in the room yesterday as a witness to it after she "talked to somebody". By the audio, she did have an appointment to meet with Defence attorney that day.

Ri-ight.

IMO.

I'm convinced the voice on Libby's video matches little man child killer richard m allen of Delphi Indiana. Prior to the interviews and confessions there wasn't much I could find to match up with it's RL voice. Now I'm certain.

Did you, or anyone else catch how many times the wife asked how his bullet got to the crime scene? I've watched the conversations between the two of them in the interview room only twice, will be going back to count how many times she brought it up. Stood out to me that she was focused on the bullet at the crime scene.

IMO, I strongly believe she knew it was guilty.

* Wife asked how his bullet got to the crime scene.
* Wife confronted it by saying it told her it wasn't on the bridge.
* Wife told LE it had anger problems.
* Wife's body language, if she leaned any further to the right, away from it, she would have fallen off her chair.

IMO, she knew it was the killer right then and there. By the evidence shown to her.

I hate him/it more than ever. Little it had no remorse, only anger that he was caught. How dare LE outsmart it and find the killer of two little girls.

Afraid of guards? My rear end. Spitting, throwing feces, threatening. Then crying to family on the phone, do you still love me.

I'm so sorry Libby and Abby crossed that filthy little pervert's path.

You know, I actually feel better getting this off my chest.

I hate him, hate him, hate him.

I initially thought the same thing. That KA realized in that interview room he was guilty. Now I’m not so sure.
I could not reconcile her realizing he was guilty with her sniveling and whimpering and mostly for her apologizing to him.
Then somebody else presented a different angle. Looking at their back and forth about her telling LE he was not on the bridge, and him saying no he was on the bridge…then she apologizes. Weird. Then RA starts to say “I said I was walking”, then stops himself. Then strange expression. Then says he loves her, and she cries.
I think she’s upset because she thinks he’s going to be angry because she messed up telling their prearranged story to the police. I think that’s what she’s apologizing about. He starts to remind her what the story was supposed to be then thinks better of it.
She’s probably also upset about learning of the bullet at the crime scene. Neither she nor Rick were expecting that. They thought he was going to get away with it.
Just my thoughts looking at it from a different angle now.
She didn’t just realize RA was the murderer that day. She had known for awhile I think.

When the baby does something bad you don't get mad at the baby...

Indeed. Another take away of mine after watching the entireity of the released calls & footage. KA certainly seems very persistent to RA that he is 'lying about being guilty', and quite frankly, she's doing a better job of convincing him that's he's 'not guilty' than even he is himself.

Interesting IMO.

Something that is also troubling - where in all of what we've seen is the evidence which caused his various attorneys to proclaim his factual innocence?

Whatever the constitutional questions, I've not seen any facts that indicate this guy is clearly on the level as to justify an innocence type strategy. Remember his attorney's began claiming that long before they knew anything about Odinsim - in their very first presser.

For instance, KA has never come out to give the story. Where is his alibi? Even with just two of them in the room - there is nothing. Did they not even discuss something?

I mean if i was in the cross hairs for this, I would certainly have been discussing with my wife why it could not be me in the days before this interview?

27 m into the first interview, Ricky describes spending time with at the MHB as a Walmart employee, doing a clean up.

He says DOWN THE HILL.

Casual, lazy.... once again, his ONLY power was a gun, with which he controlled two little girls, until he was done with them. Then he murdered them. Sick, pathetic subhuman.
