Is this why he wanted to meet LE in some parking lot and not at his home?
I tend to feel he didn’t want his neighbors seeing LE at his house so soon after the murders (he mentions several times in interviews he cares what others think of him) & he didn’t want his wife to potentially overhear what he was telling DD.
Meeting in the grocery parking lot makes it appear less suspicious to passersby & allows him to tell any version of events he may wish to his wife.
After watching all of these I am sick to my stomach. I hate him more now than I did at the trial.
He showed his skills in manipulating KA in the Holeman interview, constantly telling her "You know me, I love you," etc., etc.. His thing is controlling females & then being treated like an infant when he screws up, per the confession calls.
He’s a fairly convincing liar in terms of speaking to people but I feel he overacted with the head shaking, looking up at the camera, throwing his hands up in the air & had a difficult time not looking at one of the crime scene photos. He seemed almost too calm as well at times. I found it quite interesting how during the first interview in 2022 he was able to recall vivid details about petty life events & verbally give them to Mullin &/or Liggett but when it came to certain things related to the day on the trails, he couldn’t recall or tried to steer the conversation to something else or just fell back onto repeating generalized things.
I honestly feel he thought he was going to go in there on 13OCT22 & tell them a couple of lies & got way in over his head & couldn’t come up with better lies quick enough - he was also fishing for what all they had on him.
He’s got short man’s syndrome & wants others to see him for more than what he really is - a lying, sniveling, weak, little, perverted murderer who has an eye for young girls.
