What are the five shoes?

I count three shoes. Abby was wearing her own 2 shoes. Libby was not wearing any shoes, and one was found underneath Abby with the phone. And the other was down by the creek, according to everything I've gleaned.
Same here.

Abby had hers on (2).

Phone found under Libby's shoe which was under Abby's body (that's 1 more).

And, the shoe in the creek that was found with the shirt (that's 1 more).

1+2+1 = 4 shoes.

Interview with Kelsi: (begins at 14m, 45 seconds) ... when she began searching again the morning of 14th Feb, she was on the south side of the bridge [the 'abduction site' side as she was placed in a group that crossed the bridge to search] looking underneath the bridge and as soon as she got back on the private driveway:

"someone yelled up the hill "we found a shoe" [the 'shoe finders' were down the hill from the driveway by the creek] .... "as soon as they yelled up what type it was, I knew exactly whose shoe it was" and ... shortly after that someone found the girls who were over on the edge of a private property (RL's).

So my question would be why is he allowed but the MS peeps aren’t?
Exactly!

I wonder if he will be gone Monday. I would like to believe we are not the only people who have questioned his attendance and it will be brought before the judge. If the defense is allowed a sympathetic lawyer who also has a podcast, so should the prosecution and TMS would fit.

Sarcasm and MOO, of course.

Sounds like the D is up to their old tricks, with social media supporters following along.

JMO, this is why the judge has to be so strict during this trial. The D will try to manipulate and distort any crumb of information in this trial, then blast it around the world via social media.

Eventually, people will figure out the pattern the D uses when they amplify and distort tidbits of information.

I've posted the link to this article twice now, and provided screenshots, to explain why I'm asking, but here it is again. Delphi Murders trial: Day 2 live blog

I guess we're going with the writer of of this article (or the witness) being wrong about there being a PAIR of black Nikes.

As always, JMO.

Please everyone remember. If you post something as fact you must provide links.
There is only one suspect and that is Richard Allen. If there is anyone suggesting other innocent people had something to do with the crime then that member will be removed.
Thank you.

Remember after the Todd Click testimony at the hearing to dismiss, Motta claimed that Click said an alt suspect had kidnapped a girl - then it turned out to be false. He claimed it was a mistake. I question that now. MOO

This is not much different than if Baldwin just did his own tweets in the breaks.
More examples of the consistent questionable behavior by the DT and their 'associates'. Judge Gull had every reason to believe they should have been DQ'd IMO.

A competent and vigorous defense is expected by any D, not a case tried in SM, YT rumor, photo leaking, spilling and overblown statements around the Court gag order. Their behavior has been beyond anything I've ever witnessed.

If I wasn't so assured of RA''s guilt in the gruesome murder of Abby and Libby, I could almost feel sorry that he chose to have B&R reinstated rather then start fresh with new attorneys.

IMO Karma has RA sitting right there at the Defense table surrounded by Attorney's of his own choosing and caliber and it will not end well for him. I'm personally more than okay with that.

I get it. I'm also interested to see whether or not any others report a 'pair' of shoes as this linked live blog did.

I'm especially interested to see if anyone reports on the actual crime scene photo that was viewed ... as they are allowed to review the evidence in an anteroom after each session I believe. I wonder if they are able to photograph evidence and put it to the public now that it's been presented at trial?

Would love to know whether that photo actually shows shoes 1 or 2 shoes in the creek.

oops I'm not sure my source is permitted.
I shall paraphrase as it's my opinion as well:

The inability to exclude BW's gun can't be reconciled with an identification of Richard Allen's gun as the source of the cartridge, because an identification necessarily excludes all other guns in the universe as potential sources. Impossible to have it both ways.

It's important that BW's gun can't be excluded as being the source of the bullet. Saying that is not an accusation against BW. It's an impeachment of the theory that the identification of RA's gun as being exclusively THE gun that released the shell at the crime scene. It makes no sense to assert that RA's gun is likely the weapon, when it BW's gun can't be excluded as being the weapon that released that bullet as well.

What is the chance there's several more sig saeurs amongst the huge numbers of LE at that crime scene for days that also cannot be excluded as being the weapon that released that bullet?

JMHO and ... I hope that makes sense.

It would be great if the public could see the list of evidence retrieved from the crime scene. No photos or drawings, just a list of the items found there. That would quickly clear up the facts about the number of shoes, etc.

I hope the D finds a way to provide a brief but compelling lesson to the jury about false confessions and how often they have led to wrongful imprisonment! MOOOO.

I’m curious, false confessions has been mentioned numerous times as if it’s an everyday occurrence. Yet the cases I’m familiar with, most occurred decades ago mainly involving LE coercive interrogations of younger suspects lasting for hours and hours until they break down, something which is no longer allowed. That’s apples and oranges to someone freely confessing to loved ones after finding god.

Do you know what is the percentage of wrongful convictions compared to overall convictions when the jury got it right? Although each instance is highly publicized and deservingly so, I think it occurs very rarely. And no reason to assume the jury is naive to the importance of the duty they’ve been tasked with. We have no choice but to trust their judgement. JMO

Agree - there needs to be a daily correction.

Defense is counting on evolving self referential "alternative facts" aka "lies."

When Bob takes a picture of the jury, he'll be gone. ;)

(just a thought ... Bob might have Court TV legal analyst credentials?)

Nope, I was reading a mainstream media article about today's hearings. No trickery!

As always, JMO.

I've read some news articles and haven't seen any mention of 5 shoes found at the crime scene.

There's only a mention of a pair of black Nike shoes, which belonged to Libby.

I'll reach a final conclusion when I've seen a list from LE of the items found at the crime scene.

I don't know how much weight the jurors will give RA's confessions after finding God. It seems he may have been encouraged to confess by fellow inmate companions. The companions were communicating with him about his case and praying with him. Companions were not allowed to converse with him nor were they allowed to spread the word to other inmates.

"The inmate companions then spread the "good word" of Allen's "confessions" to inmates in general population at Westville, prompting these inmates to then share the information with their respective family members in public."

Let me try this again.

Abby was wearing her own two shoes on her own two feet. That's 2 shoes.

One of Libby's shoes was found under Abby's body. That's 1 shoe.

Today's article from WishTV said that Jake Johns found Libby's T-shirt and a pair of black Nikes. A pair means two. The same article also said the jury was shown a photograph of the shoes. Plural. More than one. That's 2 shoes.

2
(Abby's shoes on Abby's feet) + 1 (Libby's shoe under Abby) + 2 (pair of Nikes found in creek) = A total of 5 shoes.

5 shoes. 4 feet.

As always, JMO.

Then you would think he would have to put his name in for a "Credentialed Media Trial Pass" I guess I'd call it for the credentialed media pool and take rotating turns getting into the 10 media designated seats as they have had to do.
