Understand your surprise here, however I was also thinking that maybe "irl" Richard Allen doesn't really resemble Bridge Guy. Now we know that the photos were actually just grabs of a video which was upside-down and in which Bridge Guy was very small in the frame. MOO

I wonder, of those 50,000 or more tips, how many were local people tipping other local citizens? it’s a very common mindset to not expect someone who committed a crime is someone one is acquainted with in any way.

I bet it was very few and the vast majority were strangers tipping strangers, mostly possible suspects gleaned from online searches and news stories.

Or maybe he had a couple or a few, and one just never got put back in the wardrobe after February 2017. If you have more than one of something, it's probably easier for a family member not to notice if something goes missing. If it was his only coat, and one day it's gone and he's wearing a brand new one, that would be more likely to be noticed.

His wife had to know.

I could care less what LE calls the box were the .40 caliber round was found. What's important is the fact that the ammunition is the same brand as the one found at the crime scene.

I'm really interested in learning more about the cartridge and have little interest in the box. JMO.
I don’t understand why brand matters. That’s like finding a mt dew cap at the scene and saying look he has mt dew in his fridge. It’s way too simple and common a factor.

Or on the flip side, does the fact that none of that came out with people he knew personally (as far as we know at this stage anyway) further indicate that Abby and Libby were the unfortunate victims of years of pent-up, repressed, and carefully hidden violence and perversion? Jmo
Which raises the question-- what was happening in RA's personal life in February of 2017 and could it have felt to him like "it doesn't matter -- it's over now" to the degree he took his nihilism and anger to the MHB to take it out one the first girl he could trap?

Unfriendly, masked, walking with purpose, looking like he was waiting for someone...

#NEW: Carroll County Sheriff Tony Liggett testified today in day 6 of the #Delphi double murders trial.

One of many notable moments in his testimony, he played the 43-second long Bridge Guy video and shared what he thinks was said. I have that below.

- “Is he right here? Don’t leave me up here,” Abby says as the video starts, according to Liggett.
- “This is the path…that be a gun…there’s no path here,” Libby says according Liggett.
- “Guys,” Bridge Guy says.
- “Hi,” one of the girls says.
- “Down the hill,” Bridge Guy says.

So sad
The last words of LIBBY AND ABBY before RA=BG=killer took their way too young lives away from them.

I posted upthread about the multiple ammo manufactures that make .40 caliber cartridges. It helps me from a statistical perspective.

It's just one part of a circumstantial case. JMO.

NO
IIRC< there were interviews with co-workers, etc.

No friends or co-workers or EVEN HIS DAUGHTER & SON IN LAW are in court sitting on his side.

Was he a loner ??-- I think so.

That's a pretty big assumption. Especially if the jacket in question stayed in his car, or the garage, or a sports bag rather than in plain view or in a shared closet.

Jackets don't get washed after every use. He also went up and down in size a bit over the five years after the crime. It's not that difficult to imagine a wardrobe being changed up because of that. "Didn't you used to have a blue jacket, honey?" "I put that weight on, it didn't fit any more. I swapped it with Joe from work, he had that sleeving surgery and lost 30lbs, he gave me his old one. Still got plenty of wear left." Fictional scenario, but it's the kind of plausible reason why a jacket might not be there any more.

I still think he might have had a few, though, and one going missing wouldn't be noticed, necessarily.

Sure but my point stands. Would my example add weight to a decision for you? Because there’s more sodas than 40 manufacturers.

And it's heartbreaking to hear Abby say is he right here and don't leave me up here. That makes it clear that they were afraid of him BEFORE he even got close to them. They had to have been talking about him for her to be asking if he was right here. They knew something was wrong and weather that is why Libby started recording or not we don't know, but I am glad she did.

Are there anymore updates from today's trial as well as any riveting information worthy of discussion?!

For those who don't have hours to watch trial recaps by YT/podcasters, local, 13 News (Wthr.com) reporters Bob Segall, Emily L, and their legal analyst Katie Jackson-Lindsey do a nightly "Delphi Debrief" at 10 PM EDT which lasts about 30 minutes. You can find the Debrief link following each broadcast in the Media thread. Also, Bob Segall is the same reporter who recaps his top 13 takes from the trial each evening and tweets #1 - #13 at the end of the day.

Delphi murders trial: Day 5
Good stuff, I watched last night. It was informative, they pack in a lot of info.

Thanks for this little detail. I've been saying for quite some time that ammo. brand found at the scene was unique, and that it matches in this instance isn't terribly surprising to me. Often with 'carry' ammo., a person uses the same brand for years.

I'd suspect more testimony relative to he ammo in the magazines, the chamber of the sig. etc. that were obtained during the search.
Would someone mind clarifying…
“a round”
“a .40 caliber round”
“a cartridge”
“a spent cartridge”
“an unspent cartridge”
“a magazine”
“tool marking”
Thanks
