Mullin asks what he was wearing that day. Allen said he was wearing blue jeans and a back off-brand Carhartt jacket.
Liggett asked in the video if he was wearing a hat, Allen said that if he was it would have been the skull cap he kept in his jacket pockets. Allen says he was wearing either tennis shoes or combat boots or work boots. Mullin is seen texting during the interview. Clothing Confirmation.

Allen says in the video “Am I am angel of a person? No, but I guess I just don’t want you looking through every website I ever checked.” He says he’s worried they will “find pieces close to fitting and make it fit.”
“I don’t think you’re coming after me,” Allen says. “I want closure for the family as much as anyone else. Normal concerns in the initial part, then perhaps alluding to incriminating searches.

Allen talks about watching “Dateline” every week with his wife and “doesn’t want to be that story.” Who doesn't? But a killer might get a kick out of that kind of stuff.

Allen says to the investigators “This is out of left field guys, I am going to talk to my wife before I do anything. This impacts her more than it impacts me.” Seems to be using her to run interference.

Mullin and Liggett step out of the room, Allen checks his phone. They return and show him photos of his car going to the trail. Mullin says “we’ve been able to talk to your wife and daughter.” Mullins says his wife and daughter describe Allens mental health issues. Mullin shows Allen a picture of bridge guy. Mullin asks “is this you?” Allen says “I was going to shoot myself one night, I don’t have psychological issues because I went out and killed two girls.” This is really interesting. It's common in post offense behavior, but we do know he has mental health issues to begin with.

Mullin says in the video “you were out there to do this to the girls, or you were trying to introduce them to someone. Allen continues to deny. Giving him an out (introduce them to someone).

It's a denial, but how he makes the denial is indeed interesting.

Makes me wonder WHEN he was going to shoot himself. At first blush one could assume it was the night of the domestic call (prior to the murders having been committed). So why add the second part of the sentence? "I don't have psychological issues because I went out and killed two girls." This makes me wonder if some other event occurred around his mental health. One that occurred AFTER the murder of the two girls.

Just an odd denial IMO.

Allen says in the video that he had an individual stock trading account, and was “trying to get rich.” In the video Allen laughs.

This dispels the theory about checking fish stocks or whatever that was.
not in my mind. Maybe I am not following you.

He told LE he was watching fish from atop the bridge. He also told them he was checking his stocks.

What about what you posted discredits that?

I don't think so...90%? Lot's if people are stuck or stabbed.
Not quite 90

“About eight-in-ten U.S. murders in 2021 – 20,958 out of 26,031, or 81% – involved a firearm”

What would he have searched that would come close to fitting the perp of a double homicide?

Allen says in the video “Am I am angel of a person? No, but I guess I just don’t want you looking through every website I ever checked.” He says he’s worried they will “find pieces close to fitting and make it fit.”

“Voorhies said she saw the man on the trail. Voorhies recalled that it was around 2:15 pm when she saw the man in the wooded area of the trail near the Freedom Bridge. That wouldn’t line up with the same man being in the girls’ video on the bridge at 2:13 pm.”

Mind you, this is the 4 girls that people are claiming cement the timeline for the prosecution.

It's no mystery - she simply had the time wrong - as proven by the groups time stamped digital evidence

In court, Blair confirmed that she would have seen the man on the bridge toward the beginning of her third walking loop. She estimated he was about 15 feet away from her.

BB was 50 feet away from "BG", as cited in RA's PCA.

According to testimony cited from MSM, BB observed "BG" from the gate close to the entrance of the Monon High Bridge. You can see that gate in the background of Libby's 2:07 p.m. Snapchat picture of Abby walking on the bridge.

What witness are you talking about?
They are talking about the one girl from the group of three who misstated the time as 2:15pm while she was on the stand.

We already know that factually, she got that time wrong while on the stand. She was with the group of three girls and they passed by RA and he admitted seeing them too. They also took photos that are date & time-stamped.

You know, based upon evidence.

Probably best to just recast your reel, it's just another red herring.

She was incorrect about the timing, as evidenced by the timestamp on the photograph taken shortly before they saw this man. BB seeing the girls on the bridge as she was driving back to the bridge corroborates the timing of the photo and the timing of passing BG much earlier than 2:15.

JMO

Yep. She simply had the time wrong because she was basing it on a time plan and not what the actual time was by any reference. The girls photo tells us it was significantly earlier

I totally agree. The context seems to indicate that it was AFTER the murders, as he says that he didn't do it because he killed two girls, which logically, means it happened at a later date.

WISH TV is reporting that at the end of the interrogation video:

Allen says “arrest me or take me home, I’m done, you’re not going to find anything that connects me to the murders. you’ve lost my trust, now you’ve pissed me off, you’re an (expletive).

In the video, Allen gets up and leaves. News 8’s Kyla Russel says at this point in the courtroom, there is laughter.

My thought...Interesting reaction in the courtroom.

It's interesting his military experience in the National Guard. It was always a theory that he had authority experience.

Allen's 'you're an A hole' was directed at Mullin IIRC.

Everything they want to know …
And
Everything they want to hear…

Are very similar depending on context and don’t necessarily imply guilt or truth of the matter- if I assume one of my kids did something that they didn’t actually do and I put them on restrictions until they own up to it, the only way out of the situation is to lie and “tell me what I want to hear…”

It could be something like that.., I don’t know- I wasn’t there- and don’t have a concrete opinion on guilt vs not guilty as I have very limited facts- moo
Well in the situation RA was in though, everything they want to know would definitely without a doubt be, who killed the girls. So either he was already contemplating, since "It's over", confessing OR he knew who the actual killer(s) were. That RA still hasn't named anyone else, over the more than 2 arduous years, leaves me thinking his confessions started before his arrest. AJMO

Allen says “there’s nothing to tie me, I’m not worried. I had nothing to do with it. If I had anything useful to you, I would give you anything I had.”

Mullin explains in the video why they want to look at his car.

Allen talks about watching “Dateline” every week with his wife and “doesn’t want to be that story.”

Allen says to the investigators “This is out of left field guys, I am going to talk to my wife before I do anything. This impacts her more than it impacts me.”

When they returned, Mullin informed Allen they have video of his car going to the trails. Mullin also revealed he talked to Allen’s wife and daughter and learned he had some issues about “hurting himself.”

Allen was then asked if he is “Bridge Guy.”

“I’ve never met them [the girls],” Allen said. If this is a question and answer, his answer is strange. It's a yes or no.

He then revealed that he was “going to shoot” himself that night. Need more context, if it was the night of the murders it's damning.

“It’s not like I killed two girls and now I’ve got psychological problems,” he said. I'd like a timeline of his psychological issues (if this really picked up following the murders).

Liggett showed him a photo of a black car. “That’s your car,” he said.

After showing him a photo of “Bridge Guy,” Mullin asked, “Is that you?”

“That is not me,” Allen said of the photo. “If it’s taken with the girls’ phone, that is not me.” First part is a normal answer, the last part makes no sense. It's you or it's not, regardless of who took it. Also, if he's familiar with the case he knows about the picture and its origins.

“He’s wearing the same clothing you told us,” Liggett said. “Just tell us what happened. This is your car, there is zero doubt.”

Do we know when he was planning to shoot himself?
