Seems it may have been Mullin that had no idea about the white van or van.

It isn't new information at all.

JMO MOO JMT

Harshman testified that he looked through police reports and found no mention of it. When he looked into who could have potentially drove by like RA stated, he located info about Weber. Harshman contacted him. Weber clocked out from work at 2:02 p.m. in Lafayette on February 13, 2017.
Weber told Harshman he drive his EconoVan home. It is estimated he would have returned home approximately 2:27 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Within a 15 minute timeframe of BG ordering Abby and Libby down the hill.

The reality is another inmate would have killed him if given the chance, he might made a mistake and accidently killed himself while making his verbals and gestures and/or harmed others with his out of control behavior.
So he was segregated and he made most of it.
And if he were hurt before trial by another inmate or by his own hand, people would cry out "why wasn't he in a more secure place?!"

I have concerns about what happened, but also am willing to accept there were reasons for what happened besides assuming it was injustice because somebody said it was.

Imo, yes it can possibly be the result of a wide reaching conspiracy to make him appear guilty. The evidence doesn't fit RA imo so much as it has been twisted and presented to appear to fit RA. We don't even have a time of death short of sometime between when they went DTH and when they were found dead. We have not heard about stomach contents (why not?). We didn't hear about if toxicology was done (why not)? We didn't even have investigators who knew to take the sticks at the scene to the lab. Moo.

Well I suppose those who believe in wide reaching conspiracies can imagine wide reaching conspiracies are involved in everything. But it must be a tough road to follow.

Just a reminder that there are 3 hairs from the crime scene that weren’t tested yet because they don’t have roots and will require high tech testing. I think they will be tested in the future as the tech improves. JMO bc I don’t have the link handy.

Were those time errors typographical in nature? Anything of actual substance to the case corrected/changed? Your statements are worrying. Do you have a link please to the new and corrected document? TIA
I’d like to know too. I asked OP upthread for the link. Still waiting.

He knew the girls weren't assaulted. I think everyone assumed they were.
how do we know Wala didn't know this? What information was in the database that she accessed? Was she talking to investigators in the lunchroom? Moo.

Today i was randomly struck by a thought. Why did the defence include so many false claims in the Franks when predictably the Judge would discover that the moment she got through the 1000s of pages of exhibits?

So much has ended up on the scrap heap

Liggets lies
the prison guards
Prof Turco
The rope
the rune
the horns
lack of blood at the scene
the confession
the mimicked crime scene

None of it delivered. About the only thing that turned out to be true was the girls clothes.

If they had such a great case why wreck their credibility with the Judge in such high handed fashion?

I truly don’t get it unless they didn’t plan to argue psychosis back in 23. They needed an active plot against the defendant and not just your usual got the wrong guy.

And if he is found guilty, he will more than likely be put in segregation again…and he knows it.

I think they couldn’t believe what they were seeing of a man they fully understand was presumed innocent. Who knew this was happening in our justice system. Call me shocked also. I always thought people who could not afford bail were held in their local jails close to their family and lawyers and transported in police vehicles to and from court appearances not in prison treated like the worst of convicted felons. I have no idea what the jury saw but they will weigh it with regard to the alleged confessions and the early interviews where he proclaimed his innocence and pushed back on the interrogation technique I think.
I don't believe that Richard Allen has any sort of psychological issues due to his prison conditions. I think he is a manipulative, controlling, insecure, pathetic man who is really angry that he has no control over his conditions in prison.

I think he uses suicide-stunts to control those who care about him. That is, he wants his wife and mother to confirm that they will still love him after they know that he murdered two girls. If they won't love him, then he will kill himself, but if they will continue to love him, he won't kill himself. That is, he puts responsibility for his suicide in their hands. All they have to do is accept that he is a child murderer, and he will stay alive for them.

His wife and mother will obviously be triggered by those threats, feeling that they have to do something to keep him alive.

Regardless of whether the suicide threats were controlling manipulative behaviour, or genuine, the prison has a responsibility to take action as though the threats are authentic. Too bad for Richard Allen. He can eat his own feces for the rest of his life if that's what he chooses to do. It does not make him insane. It makes him desperate to get what he wants.

This first map has been posted several time thanks to @m00c0w

It shows that Richard Allen and the girls, according to the timeline, were on the South side of the creek when the white van drove nearby. This explains the movement of the girls between abduction and murders.

It's true, at the time that the phone stopped moving, Richard Allen and the girls had moved farther away from the road. The may not have been visible from the road after they relocated to the ravine.

"A chart in Cecil’s report outlined the recorded movement for Libby’s phone on February 13, 2017:
1:31 pm – 2:08 pm – 1,682 steps (707.34 meters)
2:08 pm – 2:18 pm – 414.38 meters
2:25 pm – 2:32 pm – 66 steps (50.64 meters)
2:31 pm – two-floor elevation change
Cecil’s testimony explained the iPhone uses 10 feet as it’s estimation for distance for a “floor,” meaning the two-floor elevation change would be about 20 feet. The Health App, he explained, doesn’t record a duration for the elevation change. He said that it happened during the steps taken from 2:25 pm to 2:32 pm.
“February 13, 2017 at 2:32:39 pm was the last date and time the iPhone logged movement until it was charged and forensically examined on February 15, 2017,” the report read."

The second map shows location of girls, van, and timeline.

topo map reference: Delphi topographic map 1:24,000 scale, Indiana

Great Post.

I do believe the girls' were discovered farther up into the woods then the GPS data listed in RL's search warrant contains.
That location seems too close to the creek.
In the helicopter footage it shows the police helicopter flying in the area just Southeast of the cemetery.
I believe LE may have gave a general reference to location in RL's search warrant.

Has to be unless he does want to die.

Also in April 2022, he searched “should I die now?”

Appears as if his conscience was closing in on him. I wonder what occurred in April 2022 to put him on edge?
Or... like so many other people in the world, he struggles with depression and was having some suicidal ideation for reasons unknown. Its purely speculative to imagine it had anything to do with the murders. Moo.

Agree. Still lots of whys, probabilities, maybes, coulda, woulda and shoulda’s. I prefer to wait until the Defense finishes presenting their side and then weighing out all of the facts and evidence from both sides. I do hope that the seated jurors will do their difficult job properly by working together to make a unified decision that brings justice to Abby and Libby, as well as the defendant. IMO

  • #555
Yeah, for sure. I’m just saying that the psychosis and his mental health changes over all don’t necessarily point me in either direction because either one could make sense.

i tend to agree.

i don’t think the psychosis tells you anything either way. Just from my personal experience.

one thing for sure. he does appear to be a genuine suicide risk based on his own statements.

  • #557
He didn't officially make any confessions to require evaluation. The psychologists are her own words. Only recording are when he talked to his wife. He's obviously competent to stand trial. MOO
Can anyone explain or link a reference to the protocol for when a pretrial detainee begins to confess? Were his attorneys notified? Was it up to them to decide to allow him to proceed with a formal confession - and if not, if they felt he was confessing falsely due to a mental breakdown, were they responsible for requesting a competency evaluation? TIA

It’s not speculative at all if RA is proven guilty of murdering Libby and Abby. This was trial evidence put before the jury, it’s their opinions that matter.

Link please?
Not in the report I read.
Defense attorney Brad Rozzi hands Heath a report he requested that shows what Heath did that day at that stop. The report refers to Heath seeing a vehicle at 8:45 a.m. the morning of the murders. He noticed it was in the same location that afternoon. Heath said the car was half-way down the road near the CPS building, parked about two feet off the road.

Heath said he recently spoke to law enforcement about having seen a car that looked like it was “in a movie.” He says the car was a 4-door that looked like it was from the 80’s or 90’s. He said he was 150-250 yards away when he saw it. The defense shows a photo of the car.
