Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #211

We don't know anything about how RA spent his day on 2/12. Not impossible, he was a heavy drinker, and the beers on 2/13 were chasers. Functioning alcoholics maintain a BAL. "I think I did it." There are legit reasons that parts of 2/13 might be hazy for RA. I suspect vast swaths of RA's life are hazy. Might have touched his daughter. Forced sobriety, a lot of things were probably coming into sharper focus for RA. He wouldn't be the first person to come to after a bender, forced to confront dawning reality, "did I do that? I didn't do that. I wouldn't do that. But I did. I did do it."

Alcoholics often skip meals before drinking so they can get a buzz quicker
. I think he left his mom’s house in a rush so he could start his nefarious plans and complete them and hide the evidence before KA returned home from work. This would also explain why he was seen walking with a purpose.
Also I am wondering if skipping meals in Westville is as also done purposefully to help him achieve a “high or altered state” faster.

At the end of the video Abby asks 'Is he right here? [meaning behind her]---and then says 'Don't leave me up here"
so it sounds to me like she was worried.
And then Libby mentions 'GUN' ---so at that point they were scared for sure.

It just seems odd to me that people are now trying to say that Bridge Guy, who forced these girls off the bridge at gunpoint, is really not such a bad guy after all. Like maybe the girls weren't scared of him and went along voluntarily for a lark?
He was terrifying from the beginning, rushing to corral them off the bridge and down into cover as quick as possible.

Day 15 in the Delphi Murders trial. The defense is expected to call Brad Weber and play silent videos of Richard Allen in his cell at Westville prison. Weber drove the van the state says interrupted Allen’s assault of Abby and Libby, causing him to change course and murder them.

Can't wait to hear the State's cross of him.

RA's wife must be going thru excruciating cognitive dissonance... it's striking that she said to him in the interrogation room 'you told me you weren't on the bridge' !!

So she didn't understand that the BG pic is him even tho MOO it plainly is .... & as he tipped himself in after the pic came out, imo HE recognized himself in it.

She knew he was at the scene, could not possibly have avoided seeing the BG pic, & yet somehow she thought it was not him !! Mindblowing

Did the jury hear her say this? If so, wonder what they thought about that. Why would he lie to his wife about that part? Shouldn't the prosecution have pointed that out to them?

Can someone refresh my memory as to who got served a Subpoena while testifying.

Brad Weber took the witness stand after Dr. Wala on Wednesday afternoon. Weber owns property next to the Monon High Bridge trails, off North 625 West, that was searched in the initial hours after the girls went missing.

At the end of his cross, Baldwin then handed Weber a subpoena on the witness stand. The subpoena is for him to appear back in court to testify when the defense presents their case.

IMO, the wife is living in denial.

yes, it's from the news reporting on the trial playing RA's interrogation tapes. For we who obsessed over this case for years, these tapes sound full of knockouts .... but the jury is sitting through such a firehose of info all day every day! Who knows how well the impt bits will come through JMO

@katydid23 exactly! Bam!! It's not only odd, it's casting shame toward the girls.

A member yesterday posted: "At 36 minutes - Lawyer Lee describes "there's a high-pitched nervous sounding girlish voice and the one thing that you could hear clearly on it was some whimpering from a girl and then 'there's no path there for me to go to'".

High pitched....
Whimpering from a girl...
I just can't imagine their fear...

Maybe she saw the pic and thought it was him and asked him and he said he wasn't on the bridge that day. I dont know but I find it a little hard to believe she didn't even suspect a little that was him in the pic. Of course I'm not her so I don't know what she was thinking. Moo.

busy weekend afk so bear with me, y'all have seen all this but I am playing catch up.

The judge granted a motion for inmate Jesse James to be transported to the courtroom in Delphi.

She denied the motion to allow testimony about Odinism.

Gull also denied any witnesses via videoconferencing.

Does anyone know who JJ is or what he will be testifying to? I am curious what he is in for and how long his sentence is.
