Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #211

Libby and Abby were down the hill and beneath the bridge at 2:18 pm. They were at the top of the bridge at 2:13 pm being forced down the hill, under the bridge. We know the girls were immediately told to undress somewhere in the nearby forest.

Richard Allen confessed that he forced the girls to go down the hill after flashing a gun. He was going to sexually assault them, but a white van drove by, so he was interrupted and forced the girls to cross the creek, where he slit their throats with a box cutter. Gotta wonder - was the sexual moment ruined for Richard Allen? He no longer felt the urge to sexually assault the teenagers. Instead, he killed them to eliminate witnesses?

Based on LIbby's phone movements, updated every 10 minutes, it looks like she stopped moving between 2:08 and 2:18 (perhaps after getting undressed). She remained there until 2:25, at the same approximate time that the van drove past. Then she moved, and elevation changes (20 feet) correspond with the ravine between Deer Creek and the Cemetery.

I think a jurors question about RA’s confession yields the answer.

Scared = fear. As fear rushed over him, RA lost any notion of SA, much like a cold shower. But he still had two hostages to deal with and he couldn’t risk being identified so he proceeded to find a location less visible and quickly eliminated any witnesses. JMO

A juror asked why anyone would discuss the van prior to Allen's confession that a van scared him. Mullin said the confession was why the state looked into it.

Gosh reading these defense motions and things is like entering the twilight zone. Someone saw a white truck an hour after the crime. Two people drive white trucks, maybe it's their truck! They're Odinists! Why can't we insinuate random people who have been investigated and cleared by law enforcement are involved in this crime?! It's so unfair!! 6th amendment!!

Come on. I feel bad that I am having this perception of his attorneys being incompetent. So I hope we see something more promising from the defense in the coming days because I also feel bad thinking this little nothing of a person took these two girls lives. Girls who had unlimited potential until someone murdered them.

About the 3 hairs. I ask in a post a little while ago,(no response yet) if anyone has heard that they did find finger prints at the crime scene?
The only testimony I recall concerning fingerprints was concerning the unspent round & none were found on it. It was also noted that due to the small size of ammo shells, fingerprints are usually difficult to pull from them. I assume there isn’t enough surface area from which to get a complete print.

“The day's last witness was Brad Weber, who also testified earlier in the trial. He previously said he went straight home after work the day the girls were murdered.

Monday he changed his story and told defense attorneys that in 2017 he told police he went to various ATMs after his shift at the local Subaru plant.

Weber says police searched his land, buildings, house, and car. He says he was also questioned many times about the case. He admitted he told different stories to different investigators over the years.”

Ahuh. So he has no credibility either it seems. Least not to me. Mooo.
I wonder if that reporter quoted correctly?

Oh My !! o_O

A white van with a person luring children with candy ?!?!?!

Was it windowless ???

This D team certainly loves to illustrate some colorful fan fiction !!

I have been following since day one as a lot of us here have done and not once have I heard of a white van with a perv driver luring children with candy.

Just NO !!!!!!!!!!!!

Did that candy van drive up the trail, just as the girls were walking down the bridge? That must have been what happened, sure thing.

M00 is, that is exactly where they both were ordered to undress (2:18-2:25).

M00, he had them undress waist down, and after viewing their bodies he chose Libby.
He then forced Libby to take everything off.
He ordered Abby to redress with whatever was in front of her, including her shoes without socks.

He didn't want Abby, but, was going to use her in coercive control to control Libby.

When the van passed by he marched them both across the water. One of the girls could have dropped clothes on purpose, or he could have dumped them in the water.

(I say this because it seems Abby had her two bras on as well as her shirt. Also it seems Libbys pants on Abby were wet 1/2 way down (if I remembered that right).

But when other people were presented as POIs in this case by LE... I can distinctly remember people were adamant that that particular POI had to be the guy in LG's video... (moo). For me, just not enough detail - its all grainy and pixelated -- so no facial details can be made out really imo so I can't say it looks like RA over anyone else really. MOOOO.

Facially it looked like many men, but the height, rounded shoulders, short legs etc ... his own wife??

Clearly not since no one tipped him in by name in all those thousands upon thousands of tips. The only one tip to LE with his name was the one he gave… himself. Moo.

The reason I'm asking is because while watching the documentary Down the Hill: The Delphi murders episode 2 today on Youtube, there is a sheriff TL who is answering questions about evidence at the crime scene and he said there were finger prints. I had not heard that before or since following the trail, but found it interesting. You can hear this in the 2nd episode at about the 23 minute mark.

TMS is reporting that RA had severe separion anxiety as a child. In school. Worried he wouldn't be able to go back home or something bad would happen to his family

Had lots of insecurity around work and what people think of him. Would get promoted into managerial positions at work, worried workers would be upset with him having to direct them. Would cry, curl up in a ball. They'd demote him, Kathy would support him and help put him back together.

Discussion of dependent personality disorder.

Conclusion of pyschiatrist: he's a fragile egg. Long history of mental illness.
