GUILTY Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #220

I felt the same in the early interviews and was pretty disturbed by my own feelings! I actually thought "wow, maybe..." but then it was the interaction with his wife that really hit me. IMO he was obviously gaslighting her, overdoing it for the cameras. I've unfortunately seen that in real life before. And the "you told me you weren't on the bridge".
It was the interaction with his wife for me, too. The forced sloppy kisses seemed overbearing.

I'm glad that trial exhibits are being released. It completely shows that, in my opinion, the jury got it right. And it just completely reiterates that these were girls. Children. It breaks my heart what he took from them. I hope he continues to live a long miserable life

Damn straight - she ignored everything which was staring her right in the face. That’s a moral decision IMO, made by parents of a daughter. Imagine her whining & RA’s anger had they been forced to walk a mile in the German’s, Patty’s or Williams’ shoes had their daughter been taken from them. They both make me ill with the choices they made. Utterly selfish to the highest degree.

I wish I were more forgiving - kids make it tough for me. You just don’t go there, ever, IMO.

Didn't KA want to know over 5 years, who the killer of two teenage girls from the same town would be? Afaik, she attended Libby's funeral - not one thought of who might have had killed this poor girl (and her friend of course)?
KA has a daughter - over 5 years not one thought of a predator, who ran around killing young girls like her own daughter? Or did she know, the Delphi predator was her husband, and he would do no pain to her own daughter (otherwise he had done it long ago)?

I believe while the jury was deliberating they asked to see the interviews again. We can see why.

And wise, insightful.

Because the first time they watched, they were undecided, listening for content.

The second time, to confirm their verdict.

"Arrest me."

IMO, KA knew who it was when she walked into that interview room in 2022. She made the decision to stick with her guy until the bitter end & swallowed the bait which the defense lawyers set out for her. Hard to tell if he was being honest when he told Wala he was molested & had molested others with his feel sorry for poor little Ricky routine & all the lies he has told.

I have been waiting for this...

But, as I scan through it, I'm heartsick...

It's all so tragic.

And senseless.

And awful.

All because of one sick demented individual.

He deserves to be begging bars for the rest of his disgusting life.

If there were real justice, in this life, Abby and Libby would get their lives restored. Young women who would have and could have and should have gone on to adulthood, to make their marks in this world alive.

He stole all of that.

Indefensible.

Reposting this excellent post from the time of the trial.

"Dulin said he typed up his notes, adding Allen’s drivers license and DMV photo and submitted the packet to detectives. He was not assigned to do a further follow up."

So they had Richard Allen's drivers license from 2/18/2017 on.

It's also very interesting that KA says they are messing with you and RA's response is No, they're not.

That's pretty clear for me. When someone tells you something, I am going to believe it. The whole phone confessional phone call spoke volumes.

Surprise that she still wants to fight for "her person" as she stated something about this isn't over as she is leaving court (her person convicted). Exhausting.

Try to thinking about Abby's and Libby's families.

I still believe KA will divorce RA and move on into obscurity as much as possible after his initial appeals are denied. She's finally free of the NARC child murderer. I think Rozzi and Baldwin had her wound up and convinced of a Not Guilty verdict and needed her as a "Stand by your man" prop.

Lots of press, interviews, book deals. etc. Damn, that Guilty verdict really threw a monkey wrench in all of the leaches plans didn't it?

I'm a little late but have finally watched the entirety of the released interrogation video. I am surprised how...believable RA comes across. Usually during an interrogation video, you get that obvious reaction that someone is lying and being manipulative.
Respectfully to me, RA comes across as a well practiced lying liar who lies. Overly acted to present himself as innocent, his whole life depended on it and he had 5 years to fine tune it. But that's just my take.

hey guys I was wondering what the strongest proof was that there was a sexual element to this case? was it that libby was found unclothed?

reason being I can't help but notice strong similarities to a unsolved murder that happened here in the UK in 1997, that of Kate Bushell.

similarities are a similar age, KB was 14. similar suspect who is thought to have local ties as the area of the crime was a really secluded and small lane, not known about broadly, a sexual element has not been ruled out as KB's clothes were found disturbed similar to the delphi case, a man who is suspected but has not been traced was seen on the lane very close to the time KB was out walking a neighbours dog with a blue hatchback car similar to the the delphi case, 5000 dna results were tested in the locality with no link being found, similar method used in the murder, this is speculative but it seems that KB was found off the lane in a nearby field this could be similar to RA forcing the kids off the trail into a more secluded area or that KB went to that field and was then followed by the suspect, another similarity is that a man was seen running from the area in bloody clothes although this is not the blue hatchback man, details on this individual is difficult to trace but he was seen running back tot he estate from which KB had come. he was also seen running away from the area just minutes before KB's body was found similar to the delphi case where RA said he stopped what he was doing due to seeing the van nearby, it makes sense that if he was the perpetrator he may have been disturbed by KB's parents who were searching for her maybe calling for her. KB's murder was also particularly brutal and was done in one swift motion as if the perpetrator had experience in slaughterhouses.

Other details. there were three people who the police wanted to speak to one was the blue hatchback man who was seen near a spot where people could collect horse manure for free, the other was the man seen running from the area towards KB's estate and the other was a homeless man seen in the area in the timeframe before KB was murdered but not seen after. the murderer was said to almost certainly have local knowledge of the area either was local or had friends, family or connections to it. A big clue was orange fibres found on Kate and the gate which was the entry point to the field she was found in, these fibres were orange non fluorescent and believed to have been used in work clothes at the time. The police believe someone knows the murderer or suspects them.

I'd appreciate anyone looking at KB'S case as it does seem so similar almost identical in many ways.

msm on the case

hope the mods are ok wiith me posting this, I see such strong similarities in the case that I thought the people who are very familiatr with the delphi case may be able to contribute meaningfully to the KB thread as well.

With all the newly released documents, went searching for a way to help the justice system.
Found this:

We all want a fair trial for the accused, from both sides.
The accused? I'm sorry, I don't understand. The accused being Richard Allen? He isn't the accused any longer, he is the convicted. He had a fair trial and was found guilty by a jury of his peers.
If I have misunderstood your post, I apologize.

He sure was found guilty by a jury of his peers. The jury took their position very seriously.

During the trial many things were stated by the defense, and IMO were false. It is my opinion and my understanding no attorney should out right lie. After reading the recently released documents, especially the defense stating the judge was denying all their requests for reimbursements, there was misconduct by the defense. Among many other claims.

This conduct made the trial into a three ring circus, added additional pain and suffering on the victims family and friends. My desire would have the board look into the conduct of the defense's actions, which I truly believe made Abby and Libby's family suffer even more.

I used the word accused because the child killer was not convicted at the time of the misconduct.

You are 100% correct. And I thank you for giving me a chance to clarify.
