Utterances, about what, by whom? Are you suggesting they’ve heard RA proclaim his innocence or maybe have heard other inmates talk about their involvement in the crime? Eg: maybe one of the transport witnesses has heard RL confess or has heard other inmates bragging about how RA is the wrong guy and X did it?
No of course not RA's guilt, the defense are the ones calling them to testify. Like I said, jail house banter about SODDI is my guess.

Two of the lawyers were offically on the D team at the time. The rest of them followed their lead and discussed doing underhanded and questionable deeds.

Ok, but were B and R involved in that whole private chat?

ADMIN NOTE:

For those who wish to continue tag-teaming against Judge Gull, please re-read my former note:

from: Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #195

Also, lay off Judge Gull. Websleuths is pro-LE / LE friendly unless there is evidence to justify why we should not be. Just because you don't happen to like the judge's rulings doesn't mean she's the worst thing since the plague. Dollars to donuts the judge's decisions are based on law and legal precedent rather than just feelings or she doesn't like somebody.

I don’t think the inmates the D wants to transport will be talking about the “confessions” my by RA unless they were involved in eliciting them somehow (which doesn’t seem the case). Very interesting move by the D here! Sooo curious! Moooo
Wasn't there talk of an inmate that said RA was subjected to unfavorable treatment? It may be pertaining to that.

Doesn't change the facts of the case though.

That’s what I’m thinking, too. Banter that points to SODDI. Defense is determined to bring in SODDI. Can’t fault them for that approach, as some of the POIs were reasonable suspects. Fortunately, at least 3 of the known POIs were heavily investigated and ruled out by LE, when the evidence didn’t support their involvement.

Just more noise to try and persuade jurors to look anywhere else, other than at RA. It could work for, or against, either side. A confused jury is not a convinced jury. Personally, I think most humans don’t appreciate confusion and will lean towards solid evidence over cloudy speculation.

All..

This was my first thought... I was going by memory only, then looked it up and found this.

Your making a argument that's not there for me.

My point was if the jurors think she is treating one side differently than the other, it might influence their decisions. Regardless of the LEGAL definition I think it's really important for judges to appear to be neutral in the eyes of the public.
I have faith that JG will run a very fair and balanced trial. She has the experience, wherewithal and fortitude. MO

One was a cellmate of RL, one is KK, one was an alternative suspect online. I'm guessing they are there to... prove they are viable alternative suspects? IMO
Calling an inmate to insinuate against a dead man doesn't sound like it will fly. Calling a known prolific liar to testify about their lies doesn't seem to smart for the benefit your client either. Calling a confessed child rapist and attempted murderer who was one of many people arrested for other crimes or suspected of this one talked to by investigators and eliminated. To have him testify that he was talked to mean by interrogators about the Delphi case, if that's the case, sounds like a big nothing burger to me. The 4th guy I have no idea about what he could possible add to the case for RA. AJMO

Still trying to catch up. Do they mention the 4th guys' name?

Yes but that is the guy who said when the time came for his day in court, heck no I won't go. He had also made other pointless claims to get himself out of prison. MO

Yes, are we allowed to name him? Were those motions linked here?
Wait... are his initials RD?

If so, then yes they were. I was mistaken I thought you guys were discussing an additional person besides the four mentioned earlier in the thread.

So please disregard my post about that other man/prisoner at Westville pertaining to this.
