Did she redress herself? Or did someone else dress her?
Either way, it was not her choice.

He did it while she was alive and under duress, for whatever sick pleasure it gave him, or he did it once she was dead or dying.
Or he did it for the psychological issue mentioned here, that he was in some way compensating for what he did by making it “go away.”

Glad these jurors are asking questions, but I wish someone would report exactly what these juror questions were…

Delphi resident Jake Johns testified about searching for the missing girls and finding Libby’s tie dye shirt in Deer Creek. Jurors have been asking questions this morning about the crime scene.

It's frustrating, but in the rush to be the first to get the news out (it's a business after all), they likely can't include all the detail. I watch Lawyer Lee, who will tell us what the questions are, but even she isn't going on until 7!

ETA: I'd like to know if the jurors asked about the shoes. So far we have 3 shoes of Libby's being found. I wonder if they caught that and asked about it.

As always, JMO

Today in the Delphi murder trial of Richard Allen:Testimony this morning focused on the search for Abby Williams and Libby German near the Monon High Bridge Trail after they didn’t return to meet their ride the afternoon of Feb. 13, 2017. 1/

Steve Mullin, who was Delphi police chief, testified about returning to work that night to help the sheriff’s dispatch coordinate the initial search before it was called off just before 2 am Feb. 14, 2017.‘I still believed they’d be found,’ Mullin said. 2/

Using a large map of the area and low-flying drone footage, Mullin gave a virtual tour of the Monon High Bridge Trail and the key landmarks near it. Prosecutor Nick McLeland said he had to remember that the court was working with a jury from Allen Co., not from Carroll Co. 3:

Mullin said he returned Feb 14 to help coordinate searches, sending teams of two and three with maps to search the area. 4/

Johns testified that nearly four hours into their search, they spotted a tie-dyed shirt hung up on roots sticking out along Deer Creek. 5/

Johns testified that his partner called Delphi resident Pat Brown, who was in the area looking just north, and across Deer Creek, to walk their way. They were on the phone with him when Brown told them, ‘We found the bodies.’ 6/

Brown testified that what he saw looked like mannequins at first. He choked up when he described calling Delphi PD Chief Mullin: ‘I stood there facing away from them.’He said police were there in about 5 minutes, but seemed like it felt forever. 7/

Court was in session until 11:45 am. The trial continues Monday morning. More from the courtroom later today at

Haven't we been told for years that a searcher across the creek saw deer up a hill or something, looked down from there, and spotted the bodies? Was that Pat Brown? Did he mention these deer?

As always, JMO

ETA: Maybe we'll hear this detail later from someone who was there.

Also, I found a link:

This was indeed all about power. Power and control.

Perhaps he felt he didn't have any or lost his and so, as perpetrators are none to do, he took it out on innocents.

It doesn't matter in the end, but I think he was commanding the undressing and lost control of the situation, quickly devolving into the heinous slaughter of these beautiful young girls. I'm not sure that AW ever fully undressed before he murdered her, just shoes and socks, the rest of her clothes I think will prove to be hers, always hers (two bras, the borrowed sweatshirt) and LG, carrying her clothes, dropped some in the creek, in fear for her life, their lives.

Profound loss.

They were just little girls.

"She returned home from a vacation Tuesday night and signed up Wednesday morning to run the headquarters reception desk."

Apparently she ran the reception desk at ISP. And I think she discovered the filing error---Richard Whitman on Allen Avenue.

I do wonder, did RA himself create that filing error? Did he 'accidentally' say he lived on Allen etc?

She volunteered during the early days of the search to help with the reception desk.

At that point she had retired from Child/Family PS and was a contracted worker with them. Sounds like she volunteered her time over the next 7 years to work with the task force.

The Murder Sheet (The Delphi Murders: Richard Allen On Trial: Day One: Opening Statements and More) says she had been assigned to go back through tips from the early days, noticed that this individual (RA) said he was on the bridge around the suspected time of the murders, so she reported it to her superiors. She was one of the people that Carter thanked at the big press conference, which confused a lot of people as to why and who she was (at time stamp 5:07):

I wonder where she's getting her information that "the voice can be matched!"

As always, JMO.
I'd be more concerned if she had stated, "the voices match!" or "they have matched the voices!" as we've no evidence of such thus far.

But, voices certainly "can be matched" ... as we all know. As part of the Nancy Grace Team, this tweeter is also well accustomed to that capability being utilized in prior cases with "audio" available as evidence:

Whether or not BG & RA's voice has actually been matched ... only time will tell.

So, interesting tidbit at the end of yesterday's The Murder Sheet podcast episode (about 1 hr 49 min in):

They said that after the jurors were dismissed, the defense said they wanted to
submit a deposition from Anna Williams, Abby's mom, as "an offer of proof on a 3rd party perpetrator." It was given on Aug 30, 2024--after that 3 day hearing. The defense said it was new evidence that they had not had at the time of that hearing.

According to the warrant, there are 43 seconds of video. The video was taken at 2:13 p.m. Feb. 13, 2017. Allen told investigators he was on the Monon High Bridge at the same time that same day. How did he not see Bridge Guy? The voice can be matched!

Hi, I have been wondering about a match on the voice. Is that a fact? Do you know where I can find that info?

I have been searching here and everywhere and there is so little solid information I can find. I am wondering if RA’s computers and other devices were seized and searched? And if not, why? (I heard a rumor that they were not).
