As far as I know, the morning of the day after they were found. So it lines up with the prosecution's theory of the girls dying there, at that time.So what time was the autopsy performed, so we can calculate the time of death?
iPhone 6s.Do we know what type of phone she had? Nowadays water isn’t a big deal, as phones can be submerged for a while with no impact.
That’s more of a relatively new development though, so it comes down to the make and model of her phone.
I could potentially see water playing a role in that.
If it was from behind I'd still think the person was likely left handed if the cut went from right to left. It would be too awkward to do it with your right hand IMO.I wonder if RA was left handed or right handed? The autopsy says Abby's throat wound appeared to be from right to left, which would seem to indicate it was inflicted by a left handed person (unless it was inflicted from behind).
Just my opinion.![]()
'You need to call me now': Delphi murder trial testimony reveals text from Libby's grandmother
The trial of Richard Allen for the Delphi murders resumed Wednesday with testimony from an eyewitness, a forensic pathologist and a police technician.www.indystar.com
Do you have a source that that was the time and day of the autopsy? As far as I know, the morning of the day after they were found. So it lines up with the prosecution's theory of the girls dying there, at that time.

I just searched google for 'phone powered off turns itself back on iPhone 6' and got, like, a million hits.So I have a serious question.
Can anyone cite a single source of one example of a phone powering off and then turning itself on 6 hours later?

...are they seriously struggling to explain how snapchat works? I am shocked.

NopeI have not been there but I recall Defense Diaries saying he went and you could see the area they were found from platform 1. And I assume the rest of the bridge. Being midwestern, no leaves is a huge deal. It’s the difference between seeing 20 feet in July and an huge area feeling naked and exposed in winter, it’s all open.
From earlier upthread, I swear the speed of this thread is ... the speed of light.Do you have a source that that was the time and day of the autopsy?
Thanks in advance
The killer was so dominant over young teens I dont think handedness mattered. If it was from behind I'd still think the person was likely left handed if the cut went from right to left. It would be too awkward to do it with your right hand IMO.
Is anyone surprised?

Pt.2: We also learned they seized 23 devices from Richard Allen. They reviewed all of them & there was nothing on them that connected him to Abby, Libby, or their murders. However, the phone he had in 2017 was not part of those devices and they could not locate that phone.

The ritual theory shows us how desperate the defence has become. Making a fuss that sticks in a forest indicate that a violent double murder relates to ritual is absurd.Thank you…,I’ve posted about this more times than I can recall.
Had the girls been covered with twigs and branches and leaves in someplace other than a winter forest, I would be concerned.
Had they been found with twigs and branches and leaves on a glacier, or on the beach, or on a desert, yes I’d be suspicious.
But to be covered with twigs and branches and leaves in a forest, particularly in winter when the trees are not in bloom and twigs and branches break, then IMO those were just what was handy and omnipresent to partially cover them.

I’m sorry? A funeral photo? On LG’s device? The one found under Abby’s body?? I’m wondering, do you happen to have a link to this or is this a rumour? If LE gave back the phone and the fam was using it within days post murders I am going to be incredibly surprised!! Wouldn’t this be considered huge evidence? Did they give back the kids clothes and shoes too????? Moo but it’s not even moo it’s an actual question!I'm thinking whoever received the photo saved it and why we have knowledge of it and can still view it today. Also, there's always been something lurking about the phone being given back to Libby's family and when LE retrieved it for a second extraction (perhaps looking for the snap chat photo of Abby), there was a photo of the funeral. Just more odd stuff to add to the pile of strange. MOO
This article is talking about an iPhone flickering on and off. The phone was powered off at 10:30 pm and turned on 6 hours laterI just searched google for 'phone powered off turns itself back on iPhone 6' and got, like, a million hits.
Here's just one.
Stop iPhone from Shutting Off Randomly - 6 Tips
Is your iPhone unexpectedly turning itself off and on? It's probably a battery issue or a software or hardware problem. Here's how to stop iPhone from shutting off by itself.www.appgeeker.com
We know Libby had done a factory reset only a day or two before she died. There's a good chance the phone had issues before they even had to wade through a creek at gunpoint. But even if not, according to that article, just the water could do it.

Not even a little. Why would anyone be expected to still have a device they used in 2017? Even if they got so many others - it isn’t surprising to me. MoooIs anyone surprised?

Did they ask her why she didn’t offer him a ride??? I hadn’t heard this. Is this new? Is there a link pls? I’m so surprised with so much of what I’m reading here this evening!!The ritual theory shows us how desperate the defence has become. Making a fuss that sticks in a forest indicate that a violent double murder relates to ritual is absurd.
It's similar to the defence asking a female witness why she didn't offer the muddy, bloody, unfriendly looking, camouflaged man walking along the road a ride.
Desperate in an offensive manner.
