A glass of water can be half empty or half full. Prosecution is doing the best they can with a cases with LE not solving it for 5 years and many mistakes. IMO the defense need to stop grandstanding. It's not believable. They are doing RA harm.
I watched a show last night where a man was convicted of murder….TWENTY years after the murder. Zero DNA, but the circumstantial evidence, while not perfect, was strong. Jury gave him LWOP.
RA=BG=the only man seen during the crucial timeline=Killer

I'm reading about faces and feces, toilets and walls, but I'm not reading anything about eating feces. Frank must have meant it facetiously.

I prefer facts.

Clemons’ log from April 6, 2023, was displayed to the court. The following time stamps are quotes Clemons documented from Allen.

7:30 a.m.: “God, I am so glad nobody game up on me after I killed Abby and Libby.”

8:01 a.m.: “I, Richard Matthew Allen, killed Abby and Libby all by myself, nobody helped me.”

8:03 a.m.: “I am not crazy, I am only acting like I’m crazy.””

This will truly be GAME OVER for Richard Allen if the jury gets to hear this with their own ears.

We know the many Franks were filled with false claims and things just keep coming out that show that.

If one considers that game over, then they don’t necessarily have to hear it with their own ears. They just have to believe a guy who has nothing to gain by documenting these statements (like an inmate might).

I wouldn’t expect those cameras to capture audio, as their purpose is to make sure he doesn’t kill himself.

Maybe they do though, who knows.

I think there are much more powerful confessions coming, ones that were recorded.

That was a theory going online for a while.. MOO

How would other prisoners have access to his discovery files? Nvmnd. It's social media. It doesn't have to make sense.

"You're guilty of something. You're guilty and I know it and I'm going to %#$$$ prove it".

Hope that part was played to the jury.

I wish there was video of my only time giving a description to LE. (I swear I am not haunted by bad luck, I've lived in London for years and years and all my brushes with criminality are the norm where I live!)

Someone on a bicycle snatched my phone, and because it happened while I was on my way to the hospital (I think they might have thought I was injured?) the LE came to take my statement. I had ran after the bike mind you, for quite a while, so I THOUGHT I had a great idea of what that... lovely man looked like.

The actual description I gave? I said the bicycle was orange, and then as I was saying that, I was no longer sure. Orange or actually red? Or maybe it had a stripe of bright orange, because bicycles are not orange, so that would be impossible right? Also the guy looked like my childhood friend. No, I did not see his face, at all. But the back of his hand... had the same kind of hair???

Long story short, I hope no one here ever needs to give a description of a perp/suspect, because in that moment you realise just how floaty memory is. HOEVER: I was 100% sure that if they showed me a photo of the bike I'd know it right away. In fact I kept looking at bikes for months afterwards and I kept thinking nope, not this one, no way.

All these to say: Descriptions from memory are fluid. We observe a couple of elements when looking at ppl and the brain fills in the rest. However our brains are VERY good at identifying things we have seen - that's how we recognise the people and the places we know. That's why I give very low trust in the actual descriptions, and much more in the ability of ppl to match a memory to an image.

All MOO
Integrity and accuracy of voluntary witness testimony has always been brought into question (not intentional). I’m sure second guessing yourself complicates suspect identification along with impact on brain from emotional trauma and stress of the event.

I enjoy visiting England and the City of London, in my fantasy world violent criminal activity doesn’t exist there. My Mom just recently passed away, it’s been very stressful 3 years caring for her, I’m considering taking a year away from the US, England is possibility.

I’m just guessing they wouldn’t be. Don’t quote me on that.

I’d just be very surprised if those cameras captured audio, as that’s not why they’re there.

100%, I think these is the... appetisers, so to speak. There are phone confessions that have been recorded for certain. IMO, I hope at least, because if the LE has managed to lose the recorded confessions, I am rage quitting western society and moving to my own island.

Here’s to hoping they were so we can get some closure on this case!

At 12:45 p.m. on April 7, 2023, Allen said: "Dear Lord, forgive me for molesting Abby, Libby and Chris," according to a log kept by Michael Roberts, a correctional officer at Westville.

Allen said repeated the same confession later, but added that he also molested Kevin. It's unclear who Chris and Kevin are. Allen confessed a few more times that month.

Well now I wanna know who Chris and Kevin are.

The phone calls were recorded.. I also believe he confessed to the prison psychiatrist.. not sure exact title, but the person he saw for mental health.

It says “game up on Me”

I’m assuming it was a typo and he said “came up on me”

We will see

Corrections officer Michael Clemons told the jury he overhead Allen. Clemons said he logged in his notes:

"Offender says God, I'm so glad no one gave up on me after I killed Abby and Libby" and "I, Richard Matthew Allen, killed Abby and Libby by myself. No one helped me."

I've noticed several of the lunchtime updates on articles have a lot of typos that seems like they are due to autocorrect. A few of them even felt to me like the reporter was using voice input to quickly get the article written, but they didn't go back and check before submitting. By the end of the night, I notice that a lot of tiny corrections get made.

So these particular confessions would be game over as you see it? If you heard them with your own ears to verify?

To me it wouldn’t be, as I want the ones that offer specificity.

Yes I mean it couldn’t be more clear than him stating his full government name and then saying he killed the girls and was by himself and that he wasn’t crazy and was just acting crazy.

There is a lot of stress and second-guessing yourself for sure, and that was just a stolen phone... I cannot even imagine the stress these young girls were under. They did their best, and we can tell from the descriptions that they didn't talk amongst themselves, they didn't try to game the system, IMO

My condolences, caring for an ailing relative is life-altering... I hope you get the chance to travel. England can be a lovely place!! I would recommend Wales and the peak district. Cambridge and Oxford are dreamy, and Bristol and Brighton are so lively and pretty! London... is safe-ish for tourists I suppose, but things like phone snatching and gang violence is very wide-spread. If you can spent a few weeks travelling Europe I would recommend a nice train journey from Netherlands (Leiden is gorgeous) to Belgium, to Germany (so many beautiful little towns like Cologne) and of course France, and Spain (both Paris and Barcelona are pickpocketers central though, keep everything well-hidden!)
