Lawyer Lee said she didn't think it did. However she said other people in the courtroom did think RA sounded like "BG."
Yes, it only matters what the jury thought about whether it sounded like RA or not.

We all have our own preconceived biases which makes it a good thing that we aren't on the jury.

IMO

IMO the prosecution’s case may seem lackluster atm to some only because of the evidence they don’t have — not because of any evidence that points to RA’s innocence. i trust they’re laying out their case slow + methodically, brick by brick. but jmo y’all don’t trip!

Definitely.

Lawyer Lee then went on to say that she thought "BG's" voice sounded "robotic."
Whatever that means.

respectfully, that is not testimony that a box cutter was the murder weapon. It’s an option that he thought about, most likely after the prosecution told him about Richard Allen’s ramblings since his stance changed after he was deposed.

If that’s what the prosecution is relying on for their evidence only a killer would know they are in for a rough next few weeks
Not intending to debate at all, just clarifying what I stated. I believe you’re misunderstanding my reply. I probably could have worded that first sentence more clearly. I wasn’t disagreeing with your initial thoughts regarding his testimony. It was clarifying what was said. He didn’t name a murder weapon but he did mention (allude to) a box cutter. That was all. I didn’t state or intend to imply differently. Hope that makes sense.

IK killed himself in jail after confessing to half a dozen murders. His condition of confessing to LE was that he receive the DP immediately after conviction. I guess he took the DP into his own hands.

RA was not is solitary confinement in a black hole in the prison basement, but located on a segregated unit ward with the most supervision. He had daily interaction with others, rec time, a tablet to phone his family and peruse approved books or movies, access to religious services. He had access to physical and mental health experts that he would not have had had they kept him in the CC Jail.

On vacation these would be unacceptable conditions, RA was an accused Defendant in a gruesome double homicide.

JMO
Thank you. Yes. And follows all MOO. I have knownn people awaiting trial for murder — visited with them, and spoken with them extensively on the phone. RA’s treatment as so far described is truly better than those I have known. He had a tablet and access to movies and games. A private cell. A private TV. Recreation time 5 days a week. Regular medical and psychological evaluation. These are NOT amenities all inmates awaiting trial around this country are afforded.

I am not saying what is right or proper treatment of a human being. But in no way does RA’s treatment seem substandard or out-of-line with what many many other inmates in this country awaiting trial experience.

Definitely.

Lawyer Lee then went on to say that she thought "BG's" voice sounded "robotic."

I remember, LE said, they had recognized a tone of annoyance/impatience/irritability/being exhausted, as if he had said his order already once and the girls didn't do as wanted. I forgot the exact adjective (and this is angering me atm). If they heard an emotion out of the short order GDTH, then it seems, it wasn't quite "robotic". MOO

This episode on Investigaton Discovery about the crime is a must see!

This episode titled: "Down the Hill" is dated June 3, 2019.

It was posted more than three years before RA's arrest.

I was correct, "BG," was at the "Down the Hill" side of the bridge in between Platform 5 and 6 when Libby recorded video of him on her cellphone.

"BG" is actually closer to Platform 6 as you will see in the video.

It states in the video that "BG" is approximately 40 feet away from the end of the bridge. Meaning he is right up on the girls.'

The video at the link shows "BG" on the bridge synced with the actual tree's and tree line.

Time Stamp: 12:20

A few minutes after "BG" is shown, they play the audio from Libby's video.

So re: the video-taped interviews. A lot has been said in this thread about how RA was holding his own etc, how he was saying he was wearing a *black* not a blue jacket on the day.

I knew that lack of audio from the trial would be an issue. So there is this person who is actually a reporter, Lauren Matthias, who's made ridiculously detailed notes. So I hope this answers the question re: what RA alleges to have worn that day. (Every single item he owns... amongst other ramblings.)

26:50 mark: What did you wear? (Paraphrasing) "A jacket, bluejeans... And then I have a carhartt jacket. We've all had carhartt jackets over the years. I have a blue one, a black one, I think I have an offbrand one. Could have worn that. I have hoodies. Jackets. A little bit of everything. Sweatshirts." And then LM reports that RA stops talking in the video to take a sip of water.

30:00 mark: They ask to see his phone and immediately he says he doesn't have the phone from back then (how does he know?), then rambles on about contracts and the LE has to keep pushing him back to the request he keeps ignoring.

All to say, IMO the details RA shares in the taped interview are seemingly too rambling to be proof of guilt or innocent, and I don't believe in body language.

All MOO

  • "Dear lord forgive me for molesting Abby, Libby, Chris and Kevin."
  • "I want to confess. I know a lot more."

Don't think this is someone that knows only the details the killer would know - not just yet.

"I swear I never cheated on a cigarette."

Definitely not someone that is thinking straight that is for sure.

Nup, nothing has been said yet that's inside information. This is just ramblings that the state decided might be a good explanation of motive IMO.

State needs to do better than this!

Those are not ‘confessions’….mere thoughts of a mentally ill man. Sounds like he’s goading…. Telling the world what they want to hear and trying to make it his truth

I don’t believe anyone can accept those as a true confession

Look at that character on the Green Mile that was innocent yet he chose the path he did even though...

There are a number of cases where a convicted person and their families have paid the price of guilty when they were in fact innocent.

I need to know without a doubt that the right man is on trial in Delphi.

BBM

So RA is a character from a Stephen King novel?

They kept a man that has never been convicted of a crime in solitary confinement in a maximum security prison for 13 months and are using his psychotic ramblings as evidence against him.

This is quite literally unheard of in our justice system and I truly expect severe consequences to come down on people for violations of Richard Allen’s constitutional rights.

JMO
Do you have a source that it’s a “maximum security prison” and that this is “quite literally unheard of”?

A few minutes after "BG" is shown, they play the audio from Libby's video.

Looking at the picture again "BG" looks like he is just ahead of Platform 6.

Platform 6 is the last Platform before the end of the bridge on "The Down the Hill" side.

If 50 feet is the distance between each Platform to the next, then it is accurate that "BG" is 40 feet away from the end of the bridge. Which means "BG" is closer than 40 feet from Abby. Libby's cellphone video is 43 seconds long.

Also in the same I.D. episode it appears they play the "enhanced" audio of "BG". It is clear and there is no background noise.
