He smeared poo on his face and ate it.
He said: "I won't to that again."

Why?
He told other inmates "I'm not crazy, I'm only acting crazy!"
Grrrrr.
So glad to see that he was found guilty on all counts.

Those sweet, wonderful and once very happy young girls. Glad that their families have seen the verdict.
We here in WS will never forget those sweet, happy girls who were best friends.

Richard Allen is a convicted murderer.
Convicted of murdering two innocent children, Abigail Williams and Liberty German.

And that is not an opinion, that is fact!

@KylaBRussell

3:47 P.M. TIMELINE OF VERDICT ANNOUNCEMENT

At 2:02 p.m. the public entered the courtroom. News 8’s Kyla Russell reports Allen is wearing a light purple button-down shirt. Prosecutor Nick McLeland is wearing pink. There are 16 law enforcement officers in the courtroom and seven not in uniform.

At 2:09 none of the seats in the courtroom reserved for the defense and Allen family are filled.

Nick McLeland, Stacey Diener, Jerry Holeman, Steve Mullin and James Luttrell are seated at the prosecution table.

Richard Allen and Andrew Baldwin sit at the defense table.

At 2:12 p.m. Judge Gull enters the courtroom. Russell reports that she seems to be upset that defense attorneys Brad Rozzi and Jennifer Auger are not in the courtroom.

There are five law enforcement officers, two bailiffs, a court reporter, Judge Gull and one Carroll County Courthouse staff member in the well.

At 2:14 p.m. Rozzi, Auger and Allen’s family members enter the courtroom.

Gull tells the court that all attorneys phones must be turned off. She says everyone must remain silent and everyone must follow all rules.

Gull says to the courtroom, “you can take your unhappiness outside.”

At 2:19 the jury enters the courtroom.

Juror #30 passes the verdict.

The verdict is announced: guilty on all counts. The jury is polled and are unanimous.

Sentencing is scheduled for Friday, December 20, 2024 at 9 a.m.

Wow. Is this really RA now? He has aged 10 years.

A guilty soul will age a person tremendously - I believe that’s why he made so many confessions - trying to rid himself of the evil he did to A & L

I have followed many cases and trials over the years and I thought the prosecution laid out everything they had in a timeline that progressed and became irrefutable - the defense was overmatched

Hindsight being 20/20, he didn’t eat nearly enough & he wasn’t given nearly enough sporks.

No amount of the above could make amends for what he’s done AFAIC

He thought after 5 years he could come in & play games with LE. He told Holeman to arrest him & Holeman obliged him. More importantly, Holeman also did one other thing….he DID f’ing PROVE IT, just like he told RA he’d do.

MOO
Kudos to the Indiana State Police and all the local LE departments as well as the FBI and even NASA!! Well done, you never gave up and got the job done <3 Fathers, Mothers, Grandfathers, Grandmothers, Aunts, Uncles, Sons and Daughters...all took on the task of finding the killer of sweet Abby and Libby. Many that ate, slept and dreamt of justice for them from the moment they were confronted with that horrible and devastating crime scene </3 They have the public's thanks for protecting and serving us. For helping find the monsters among us. They deserve our thanks and support <3

Abigail and Liberty can rest now <3

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think RA himself knew where this was going. The second he popped up "on the radar" with LE, he knew he was done. And jmo, his appeals will be an exercise in futility. Wait until people start picking through the transcripts of this case. My guess is now that the writing's on the wall, RA will be a talker and he'll probably be talking before an appeal even has time to fully process.

"It's over." And now, he finally is.

Rest In Peace Abby and Libby.

Did they ever give a motivation for killing them? I tried to follow this case, but just couldn't as closely as I wanted.
Believed to be sexually motivated, on account of the fact that both girls were nude at one point, with Libby being found completely nude. Allen said in one of his confessions that he intended to rape the girls, but was interrupted by a white van nearby.

What an unbelievable feeling to finally see 'Guilty' on this thread after 215 threads of asking myself, "When will it be the day?"

215 threads that show that WS members and Moderators never lost hope for justice for Abby, Libby and their families.

I am so relieved for the families and for the town of Delphi.

They all stayed strong and never gave up hoping for today to come.

Abby and Libby will always be remembered.

I just added the 12/20 sentencing date to my calendar.
Lo and behold, it’s a Friday.

The ultimate Felony Friday!
So, let me get this straight. 45yrs min. on 4 felony counts & to be sentenced on a Friday?

Would that potentially be Four by Forty-five Felony Friday?

I always assumed it was sexually motivated. :(

Thank you.
