I am praying it’s not as it would be a total miscarriage of justice for the Abby and Libby and their families.
There’s always the possibility of a retrial. IMO

It is the most critical part in the jigsaw for me.
Something about the Dulin involvement really baffles me.
So he interviews a guy who, if your assumption is correct has just given a statement describing the near identical set of clothes he was wearing to that of a person of interest LE had released days before?
Were alarm bells not ringing in Dulins head?
Days later the person in the photo was described not only as a person police wanted to speak to but the number one suspect in murdering the girls!
Again. Did Dulin not wonder what happened to the guy he interviewed and chase it up again?

Did Dulin write or advise on writing 'cleared' on the sheet?
Did he know Allen prior to meeting him in that car park? Were they friendly with one another?
Great post. I have also went over and over this. Libby and Abby deserved better in so many cases.

Whatever they decide. I hope the jurors talk to the media so we can hear their thoughts on the evidence etc.

I doubt any of them will want to reveal their identities. IMO

One thing we haven’t talked much about in these threads is jury dynamics. There can be so much more going on in a jury room besides evidence disputes.
There can be domineering forepersons, introverted jurors who don’t feel emboldened to speak, differences in ability to remember or synthesize information, cultural/religious/values differences, egotism… biases. There’s just so much in play BEYOND the actual evidence, that even should we end up with a deadlocked jury, it isn’t even necessarily all because the evidence was weak (it can be that, but so many other factors are in play).

I commend this work on behalf of all who take on the responsibility for such decisions.

I’m assuming these jurors know very little about the past seven years of this case?
Why would you assume that? Both the state & defense had opportunity to present evidence as allowed.

<modsnip - quoted post was removed for bashing the judge. Following refers to sending jurors back in to deliberate more when they are hung>

It is a common practice…to try to get the jurors to agree before declaring a mistrial.

I mean no disrespect to the Jury at ALL. I wonder if they are gathering information and want to be prepared as possible to speak to the media. I imagine they will be hounded relentlessly, maybe they are also making media plans with each other, I again am not saying they are trying to profit or anything, just maybe making plans to all go to a remote cabin, or deciding what they will or will not be speaking about.

Yes, a hung jury is a mistrial and there has to be some attempt to resolve the issue before declaring a mistrial.

Regardless, I don’t think anyone in the pro-RA camp should be hoping for a hung jury. It just keeps him in pre-trial detention (being tortured, apparently), introduces more time for more confessions, keeps the case from being appealed or him to be set free otherwise. It’s the worst possible outcome for the defense right now.

The more time that passes the more I’m thinking a hung jury. There is no way it will be Not guilty as its quite clearly him so there is only two options.

imo

I don't see why not.
Because the world is crazy and full of unkind people who track others down to their homes for clicks. That would be reason enough, imo.

I reckon they will be advised not to. IMO it will be a guilty verdict and you can just imagine what the pro RA brigade will be like, especially if they have juror identities... There were already attempts at doxxing them I believe

I'm thinking there might be one adamant person who cannot be swayed. But, I hope they are simply watching the videos on repeat, which takes time.

Timestamp 39.45 in Lauren's video for a sketch of a photo shown in court, and explanation of Livor Mortis on Abby's body (for anyone interested)

There was a lot of speculation from us Franks sceptics on here that the D intentionally excluded all the ME and crime scene examiner type evidence and based it all off the photos so they could mislead the public. Hence the stuff about drained blood and carefully washed bodies and no blood where you'd expect it.

Now we know the truth of it.

I watched a trial about a week or so ago (Melody Farris) where the Judge read the Allen charge (go back and deliberate). It worked. It wasn't long (an hour or so, IIRC) and the jury was back with a guilty verdict on all counts.

Guilty verdict. Not sure when, but guilty, due to totality of the circumstances [moo]
