100% yes. I am always so grateful for local newspapers. It’s a pretty good read - in its entirety, not just above. The closing just nailed it.

"Anna Williams, Abby’s mother, dropped her head in her hands; Abby was her only child." This broke me.

Opinions are opinions and Facts are Facts. I can't imagine a scenario where these Jurors won't believe that they were presented with Facts. Justice was served! Reminds me of the "Making a murderer" Free Steven Avery gang" Much like in that case nobody made the decision to murder except for Richard Allen. Which by the way I believe dramamentary programs like "making a murderer" have changed society and not for the good. There's no fantasy crooked Detectives out to get somebody etc. Just hard working good public servants out find the truth and justice for the families! Those people are the voices for victims that have been silenced and they take their oaths with extreme sense of duty and moral fortitude! JMORSBM
Yes, that's exactly my point. If there are loads of us out here (in my opinion) who have a problem with the evidence not being admissible, I'd bet a lot of money the jurors will have a problem with it too once the learn about it. I feel badly for them.
As always, this is my opinion.
It's just despicableCheck out courtTV live comments.

ok I'll bite, List me the "Facts" that would exonerate RA and point to his innocence.rsbm
Just not all the facts. They were presented with the evidence that inculpates him and weren't allowed to see evidence that exculpates him. If I was a juror and learned this after the fact, I'd be really upset.
As always, this is my opinion.
If the jury was allowed to sentence defendants, they probably wouldn't be allowed to go home for the holidays first. JMO
It's not how they do it in Indiana: Trial Jury Process - 3 Steps | Southern District of Indiana | United States District Court.
As it always is, this is my opinion.
This so called human being put these jurors through he!!Just a personal feeling that has no bearing on the laws... I hope the judge will determine the sentence only because I feel so bad for these jurors. (proud of them but still feel for them)

…..must be quite the long list. Did you bring something on which to sleep?ok I'll bite, List me the "Facts" that would exonerate RA and point to his innocence.
I’m not sure why anyone would go by anything other than state law regarding the matter… would be kind of silly IMO to make guesses based off of literally nothing but speculation and hopes.

I can only imagine, in Delphi, how everything changed in taking care of and monitoring children after this murder. No way would my kid walk to the store let alone the woods after that.
:0(
I would have invested in those little tile trackers or something of equal. I would have been that mother who constantly had that eye out. Maybe even squashing some of their independence for my perceived safety.
And how many little lives have been protected because Abby and Libby were so brave.... I don't want to think about it like that...but it is true.![]()
May I ask what you feel was improperly excluded, and also why you feel "improperly"? Full disclosure, I'm a few pages behind so if you've answered, please just point me with my apologies or I'll catch up with my apologies lolI guess what I’m really saying is that I would have been much more confident in a guilty verdict if the jury had come to that decision after hearing all of the evidence that was improperly (IMO) excluded.

I would have loved to have watched all this happen.
