The families have rightly condemned the dirty tactics of the defense. It’s good to see that finally in black and white as we all assumed how they must be feeling but this is concrete proof.

I hope Ricky isn’t the only one suffering tonight.

The family impact statements have me in tears.

They’ve waited so long to have their say in court. We’ve waited so long for their day to come.
These and the public recognition given to Kathy Shrank have really hit my heart.

A sentence of 130 years satisfies, to the degree it can.

The only thing better than this outcome is if we’d never heard of Abby and Libby at all, because they had instead had their walk on the bridge and returned home safely.

That can’t be, so IMO we must settle for this.

And I do hope the families file a civil suit regarding the carelessness and unprofessionalism that allowed pictures of their girls, naked and in extremis, to be circulated on the Internet.

Wow, so the fact that RA developed pictures of Libby for the family-for her funeral no less - is true after all. Because of the gag order I was never sure if it was 100% confirmed or something more anecdotal that got baked into the story along the way. That is really chilling especially when one thinks about how close he got to never being caught for killing Abby and Libby… how long he was just lingering in the same town, watching the families from the shadows. I'd feel so creeped out knowing that as a family member. So glad he’s off the streets for good.

In hospital since last Friday, emphysema, suppose to go home monday.

I am thrilled that he got 130 years and hope there will be no appeals. Fingers crossed . Just sorry he had so much time out before he was arrested.
