“Kohr had served as the County Coroner in Terre Haute. He said he had done 77,000 to 78,000 autopsies in his career.”

77-78 THOUSAND?? Is this accurate???

2. Why didn’t we hear about stomach contents?

3. Why didn’t we hear anything about toxicology?

Not moo - actual questions! Ty.
He was in the job for nearly forty years. That's a lot of bodies.

MOO

Holy moly. SC stated an amber alert is what brought her in. Three days later.

There was no amber alert. Wonder if defense has caught this yet.
I wondered this earlier as well! Amber alert - one article said she heard it on Feb 13 but why? When the police had no reason to think the kids had been abducted yet?? They wouldn’t know this until the 14th!

Amber alert criteria for Indiana:

They didn’t know the kids were abducted AND in danger of serious harm or death on the 13th.

I think it was stated that her wounds were 'near decapitation' at some point by someone, though, so to me, that suggests the cuts probably went very deep. Both of her carotid arteries and left jugular vein were severed. That isn't shallow by any measure.

MOO

Thanks for the link. OK so the ME didn't say anything about decapitation and gave an estimate of 5-10 mins to die, so that doesn't signal near decapitation to me.

You have some good points.
What is bothering me is at approximately 2:15 they went down the hill. Next the killer made his move to ”have his way” but was interrupted. Were they in the process of undressing? Then they are taken across the creek at a place you can wade across. Libby loses a shoe and her shirt. The killer takes them to a more secluded place. At 2:32 (I think) the phone stops moving.

Is it then he "has his way"? The phone was found under Abby. Did he kill her then turn to Libby? I don't know.

BUT the witness sees a bloody muddy man dressed like BG at 3:57 almost at the CPS building.

What is puzzling me is there is almost an hour and a half unaccounted for.

Was Libby killed much later? That might explain the phone not moving. Or is it more diabolical?

An hour take out the walk from the crime scene to his car is a very long time at the crime scene where this predator felt safe to stay.

Makes my skin crawl.
It's mentioned here a few times that there are apparently two crime scenes - one on each side of the creek. Why? It's not mentioned by prosecutors. Furthermore, delay in crossing the creek makes it more likely someone will be on the bridge when they do cross.

The shoe might have been lost crossing the creek, and the shirt might have been tossed into the creek after the murders because it was handled by the murderer.

Abby is victim 1 in the probable cause affidavit, probably because she was killed first. Libby is victim 2. They were killed at the same time (we'll wait for medical examiner testimony).

Wasn't family picking up Libby and Abby at 3:30? They might have been hollering for them at the bridge, leading the accused to quickly cut their throats and run up the ravine to the road covered in blood and mud. Maybe he used Libby's t-shirt to wipe blood off his face and hands before throwing it into the water.

I do not know but if she was posed / dragged possibly the killer went ahead and moved her legs to whatever position she was ultimately found in? Moo.
She was most definitely drug per Cicero's testimony. Hence me wondering about her legs in her final resting place.

So whomever would have done this would have pulled her and, as a result, the leg, the buttocks, the under the leg, the calf also came in contact with the blood and it drug through there and which is indicative of the staining upon the leaves and the foliage, as well as the staining observed on the back of her leg.

Thanks. So he didn't state how deep the cuts were to Libby, just Abby. Or specify at the time what type of knife he thinks was used.

He just thought to himself 7 years later it could be a boxcutter.

Yeah..ok.
I’d like to know when he suddenly thought it could be a box cutter? Was this before or after he heard that RA “confessed” to having used a box cutter? Moooo.

Surely everybody in the town would have searched about this case at one time or another.
Yupppp.
Had a murder case near me I used to obsessively google any and everything I could about it, and still do now years after the fact. Even though the perpetrator died in prison before trial. I know nothing new will come out but I have a look anyways.

It’s not out of the ordinary for someone in the town where it happened to google it, imo.

It's mentioned here a few times that there are apparently two crime scenes - one on each side of the creek. Why? It's not mentioned by prosecutors.

Crime scene one: the location in the woods in which the killer first abducted the girls and forced them to move ‘down the hill’.

Crime scene two: the location in the woods where the girls were ultimately murdered.

My guess only.

The article I saw said 7,700 - 7,800.

That’s 78000 divided by 40 = 1950 a year roughly?? Has anyone actually verified this claim?? Because that sounds really a lot to me! How would one even verify this?? Im
Just shocked at the number being this high. I’m NOT casting aspersions or side eye. Just holy crow! Moooooo

I can’t say for sure but I think this is a typo. I heard the same number but minus a digit.

That makes more sense than them needing about 37 autopsies a week for the last forty years with no breaks. The numbers were insane when I crunched them! All I could figure is that they conflated autopsies with just all deaths, including unsuspicious naturals, etc.

I’m sorry? A funeral photo? On LG’s device? The one found under Abby’s body?? I’m wondering, do you happen to have a link to this or is this a rumour? If LE gave back the phone and the fam was using it within days post murders I am going to be incredibly surprised!! Wouldn’t this be considered huge evidence? Did they give back the kids clothes and shoes too????? Moo but it’s not even moo it’s an actual question!

OK, this was testified to in Court yesterday per Lawyer Lee (10/22/24 trial recap), and faster reference than my looking for MSM link.

Lee cites the number of times LG's phone was extracted as explained by the witness, and how photo of the funeral was on the cameral roll. Please see YT min mark beginning about 41:30 - 44:08.
