The link doesn't work for me, but I think KA knew her husband was troubled, but he kept her in the dark about his deepest, darkest side.

He married someone who was willing to stand by him, for better or for worse, and he betrayed that loyalty. I suspect that betrayal is what is eating at both of them, whether he is the murderer or not (and I think he is).

jmo
I agree.
This dang story gets sadder as we head towards the finish line.
Abby and Libby were innocent girls. This self reported selfish man has ruined so many lives by perpetuating the vicious cycle of abuse.

You see, this is what is getting me, there are way too many "maybe, could have, may haves in this case coming from the experts. It's as if they are being led into agreeing to what someone tells them. Probably how RA confessed. His mind was "probably", maybe, could've been totally gone after so much he went through in jail that he was willing to confess to anything, I'm surprised he didn't confess to murdering Jimmy Hoffa.
An expert can really only give their professional opinion. moo

Exactly! Some of us veteran members on this site have heard enough expert testimony to know that there is a big difference in the wounds if you use a serrated blade vs. a smooth blade. I've never heard of a box cutter having a serrated blade. RA was probably asked if he used a box cutter during one of the many, many confessions so naturally, he says that yes, I used a box cutter. JMO
I bet every guy (and probably some women) in the courtroom were mentally counting their box cutters. I have three plus my disposable ones.

I wonder if anyone asked CVS what kind they supplied to their employees.

@NewsyBarbara

Mullin testified that he went back in 2022 for the video, and that in 2017 he only took screen shots of the video with his phone. Badly worded tweet, Kathy Shank did not testify about that.

The wound on the right side of Libby’s neck had five red lines on the edge of the wound. They came out from the wound’s edge and were around 1 mm wide with space between them. These abbrasions are at the center of the discussion about what type of knife could have been used.

In his original autopsy report, Dr. Kohr indicated these marks could mean a serrated knife was used. But, he said as he’s thought more about it in recent months preparing for the trial, he thinks the marks would be more consistent with a handle or something other than a serrated blade.

In court Wednesday, he testified he thinks a boxcutter was the weapon used. The thought came to him, he said, when he saw a boxcutter on his workbench in his garage and the thumb grip had several parallel lines on it that he thinks could have made the marks on Libby.

That was a recent conclusion, though. In his deposition with defense attorneys in February of this year, Kohr said the weapon could have been anything from a pocket knife to a kitchen knife. He did say in the deposition that the wounds were not classic serrations and he was already walking back his serration conclusion from the autopsy reports.

I was out all afternoon…catching up…

BW’s testimony is huge, imo!
The van is the interruption that RA talked about.

Solid day for prosecution, and one step closer to BARD!

NEW MORE DELPHI MURDER TRIAL NOTES:

Confirmed through vehicle registration there was only one 2016 black Ford Focus SE in Carroll County at the time of the murders and it belonged to Richard Allen.

A Ford Focus matching the description of Allen’s vehicle is on camera (retrieved from the Hoosier Harvest Store) driving into frame at 1:27 according to law-enforcement.

Jurors heard from Brad Weber also this afternoon.He is the owner of a home on the south end of Monon High Bridge.

Weber confirmed on the day of the murders at 2:30 in the afternoon he drove up the county road that is his driveway.

Brad Weber has a white van that he was driving at the time.

Back to the testimony earlier today on if it was a man or a van that startled Richard Allen, according to the prosecution’s case they believe it was Weber’s van.

With Brad Weber testifying that he got off work at 2:02 pm and was driving a van I am now leaning towards guilty unless it was in the discovery that Brad Weber was driving a van by at that time.

Still waiting to hear the defense before forming a final conclusion
I’m feeling the same.

Here's another version of BW and his arrival time:
[snip]
Brad Weber, who lives off private lane southeast of where Abby and Libby were found, testifies he drove his Ford EconoVan home after getting off shift at 2:02 pm at SIA, 25 minutes away in Lafayette.

When challenged by defense that he made stops that day, Weber denies it.

For good measure, defense atty Andrew Baldwin hands Weber a subpoena. Sounds like we’ll hear from him again after the state rests its case.

•5/26/2023 – had black eyes, indication of self harming
•6/4/2023 – another shot of Haldol

@kithanleytv

Haldol is a drug used to treat schizophrenia, it’s meant to calm agitation for people with psychosis.
It may leave a person dizzy, drowsy, or cause trouble with thinking or body movements.
I took a moment to Google its uses/side effects.

@kithanleytv

During the afternoon session, the defense asked Richard Allen’s psychologist, Dr Wala, “You were a fan of true crime?”She says “Yes” and admits to making a trip to the Monon High Bridge. It is unknown whether that trip was before or after having Allen as a patient.

She also testified that his mental health struggles began in April of ‘23, the same time he was meeting with his attorneys & receiving legal documents about the case being built against him…

While she didn’t know what info he was learning, she speculated his worsening conditions & confessions could be due to guilt over the crime and new knowledge of what the future could hold.

Rozzi pointed out any speculation on the impact of his lawyers or drawing that conclusion would be speculation and Dr. Wala agreed. Wala said he fit the definition of serious mental illness and grave psychotic disorder.

Home Depot sells a box cutter with serrated edge.
