I think it's worthwhile to bring this forward again.

Mullin said a search of Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle records for Ford Focus cars registered in Carroll and surrounding counties in 2016-2017 returned 31 entries. He then said without duplicates, the search narrows to 18.

Mullin said the list of cars in the region narrowed even further, to eight, when searching for the number of Ford Focus ‘SE’ models, which is the type of car that police said Allen drove.

When asked how many Ford Focus SE cars were specifically registered in Carroll County during that time, Mullin replied “one.”

If I am not mistaken the ME originally said a serrated blade MAY have been used in the murders. Not that one HAD been used. A minor distinction to some, much more significant to others it seems.

He was later asked (after RA confessed to using a box cutter) if a box cutter MAY have been the weapon and he agreed it MAY have been a box cutter.
You see, this is what is getting me, there are way too many "maybe, could have, may haves in this case coming from the experts. It's as if they are being led into agreeing to what someone tells them. Probably how RA confessed. His mind was "probably", maybe, could've been totally gone after so much he went through in jail that he was willing to confess to anything, I'm surprised he didn't confess to murdering Jimmy Hoffa.

Brad Weber is a Carroll County resident who lives off County Road 625 West, just outside of Delphi.

Weber worked first shift at Subaru near Lafayette and was at work on Feb. 13, 2017 – the day of Libby German and Abby Williams’ murders. Weber said he was at work from 5:41 a.m. to 2:02 p.m., and his drive home was approximately 20 – 25 minutes.

Weber told the jury he drove a van, a Ford Econoline, to work on Feb. 13.

Defense attorney Andrew Baldwin asked Weber if he drove straight home on Feb. 13, to which Weber said he dropped off a trailer. Baldwin said that was earlier in the day, prompting Weber to scream and to deny it a couple of times.

Baldwin then gave Weber a subpoena, and court adjourned for Wednesday.

According to pool notes shared with News 8, the jury is expected to view two hours of audio during Thursday’s session. It is set to begin at 9 a.m.

I hear what you are saying but completely disagree with you old friend. Which is fine. I think we both want justice but unfortunately in this case we will have to agree to disagree about what that looks like.

I think the issue of powering on and off has already been resolved.

The step tracker stopped tracking her steps at 2:32 that afternoon. It was assumed that she was across the creek and did not move after that. Brad didn't get home until 3 or 3:30 (depending on which news source), If she was already dead by 2:32.. ? I can't make that work.
The time her step tracker stopped has nothing to do with her time of death. That likely would have been when her clothes were removed, which is likely where her phone was.

Do you have a citation for 3-3:30?

It was reported the drive was 25 minutes and he didn't stop. Puts him there at 2:30.
The 3:30 was speculation. MOO. ENM

The ME originally thought it was a serrated blade not a smooth one like a box cutter, and he just happened to change his opinion conveniently on time to testify at the trial
Exactly! Some of us veteran members on this site have heard enough expert testimony to know that there is a big difference in the wounds if you use a serrated blade vs. a smooth blade. I've never heard of a box cutter having a serrated blade. RA was probably asked if he used a box cutter during one of the many, many confessions so naturally, he says that yes, I used a box cutter. "Brad Weber, who lives off private lane southeast of where Abby and Libby were found, testifies he drove his Ford EconoVan home after getting off shift at 2:02 pm at SIA, 25 minutes away in Lafayette."

BW got home around 2:30 p.m. not 3:30 p.m.

Oh wow!
I've started to wonder if KA knew really knew the dark side of her husband. This will probably shed some light on that.
The link doesn't work for me, but I think KA knew her husband was troubled, but he kept her in the dark about his deepest, darkest side.

He married someone who was willing to stand by him, for better or for worse, and he betrayed that loyalty. I suspect that betrayal is what is eating at both of them, whether he is the murderer or not (and I think he is).

“Wala told the jury Allen said he had been an alcoholic twice since 2011.”

I’ve been a virgin twice since the 1960s.
How did I miss this... Thank you for the laugh, @WildHuncher - Its much appreciated ;)

Justice for Abby & Libby

Guessing BW's own phone was among the tower dump, placing him in the crime scene at the time of the murders, one the Defense tried to exploit. BW, who had an entirely innocent reason to be there, and not only wasn't involved but interrupted what RA had started. If only he had known...

Another person likely haunted by this still to this day.

Actually he saw wounds to support both not just the serrated blade. Later he thought a box cutter could have been used. IIRC it was on Libby.

Big difference.

It's all in the autopsy reports on here that have been posted many times.

If by conveniently you are suggesting bias I will respectfully disagree until I have factual information to support that.
I commented about this yesterday but my post got removed for some reason I dont know if it was the Amazon link I posted showing what I am talking about here https://www.amazon.com/Rapid-Edge-All-Purpose-Serrated-Utility/dp/B07DRP7MD6

if so, I apologize but there are such things as serrated box cutters. Both things can be true simultaneously. Box cutter and serrated blade can be the same thing.

The ME thought it was a combination of serrated and straight-edged blades that were used. Once RA confessed to using a box cutter, police approached the ME to see if he thought it was feasible. The ME did his own tests and found that all marks would have been consistent with a box cutter. As far as we know, (and we’ve heard reporting on both interviews at this point), a box cutter was never brought up. RA brought that up himself. It’s likely one of the very things police were referencing when talking about something only the killer would know, as police didn’t even know about it until he said it.

Ok, new info about the son checking his parent's house in a van: time around 2:30.

By 2:32 p.m., Cecil testified the phone stopped and never moved again. He told the court it didn't ping anywhere outside the trails, Deer Creek and the site where the girls' bodies were found the next day.
