I”m not saying he lied cause I’ve no idea, I was just wondering, is there any chance he simply confused his date and wasn’t home when he thought he was? The investigation was well, lacking imo - so if LE didn’t check this, I wouldn’t be overly surprised. MOOOOO.
Then I would think the defense would have brought that up and not that he worked on ATM's on the way home on the day of the murders. JMO.

A defense team acting ridiculous is just as common as botched LE work, might as well be two sides of the same coin unfortunately MOO
Much more than ridiculous, IMO. I believe LE was doing hard and grueling work to catch a double child killer. Yes some mistakes were made, they're only human.

I am curious if the details of RA confession today was something KA had heard before- such as the intent to rape- or if this is new information to her. How long will she support him?
Has their daughter been to court?

I think it's much more than tragic the way the Defense Team has handled themselves. Now more than ever. This should have been a plea case a year ago. JMO
It is true but I hope the police are not in a contest with sleazy lawyers.

It is so common for sex offenders to skip over the part where they sexually abuse their victims. He was alone with the girls from 2:13 until approximately 3:30 (per testimony). He was seen walking near the road at 3:57 (muddy and/or bloody).

That is more than an hour that he spent with the girls, so I don't believe that there was no sexual assault. I think he got lucky with the absence of DNA.

DNA is shed during a sexual assault. And there would be other physical evidence as well.

Question for anyone. Earlier I misspoke regarding BW’s arrival time at house now being reported as 2:30 (not 3:30). Also Libby’s phone didn’t move after 2:32 not 2:30 as I said. DTH at 2:13/2:14 but when did they cross the creek if startled by BW.

I've been catching up every night and day before/after work on the trial. Not watching here on WS super closely, but I'm getting lots of info daily from news, videos, etc. I am literally sick to my stomach with how this entire fiasco is being handled. I believe he is guilty. I also believe this entire investigation was botched and ruined from the get-go and it will make the trial much, much more complicated and ridiculous than it should be. MOO.

I really think BW's testimony and RA confirming seeing him, interrupting him, while he had the girls there DTH was strong evidence.
I”m behind so if this is covered already, pls let me know - did he BW? Like described who he saw? Or did he say he heard a car or? I’m about to google, but members here are often on the ball whereas I’m usually not… ty. Not moo - its a question.

But would the DNA have survived after being in the river, being out overnight? Honest question, I am not a scientist.

There is doing "unknown things" that leaves no evidence.

Has anyone thought about the fact that Brad Weber just testified under oath and placed himself at the scene of the crime at the correct time?
Near the scene, which would support Allen’s account in regards to the van.

The defense is trying to claim that he would have arrived home from work later than that, but says he went straight home which would put him in the vicinity of BG and the girls within a couple minutes of Libby’s step count ceasing.

Weber told investigators that on Feb. 13, 2017, he left work and drove home. He said this would put him driving down 625 North and pulling into his driveway at around 2:30 p.m.

Allen told Dr. Wala in his confession that it was a van that spooked him into abandoning his plan to rape the girls and quickly kill them. Weber told jurors that on Feb. 13, 2017, he was driving a white van.

The timeline also seems to add up with the case laid out by the prosecution as phone pings of Libby’s phone have the girls being led down the hill at 2:31 p.m. The phone quits moving at 2:32 p.m.

Well, depends on who you ask. If you ask the defense, he was apparently out repairing ATMs. Unless it turns out he wasn’t, then he’s gotta be BG or something.

In actual reality, the timing does not line up. The girls were already abducted by BG by the time BW arrived. We know this based off of the video timestamp. Ultimately, even if BW is somehow complicit (there is no evidence to say he is, and he was apparently investigated already), RA is still the main candidate for being BG and initially abducting the girls.

Please tell me you are not saying that BW is BG.

I know this may be splitting hairs on definitions to some, but Imma argue that sexual assault did in fact take place. The girls were undressed. He forced them to do things for his sexual gratification that they clearly did not consent to. At their age, they certainly could not have consented to. That is how I define sexual assault anyway.

2:30-2:32ish is when the elevation change happened according to Cecil. The last recorded movement of the phone was not long after that elevation change. Several threads ago, I posted topo maps of the area and going from the creek to up the bank where they were found is consistent with an elevation increase of ~20ft.

That last few minutes before the phone stopped recording activity is when they were moved across the creek and up the bank to the murder scene.

All my opinion.

Not necessarily. Kohr said there were no visible signs that the girls were sexually assaulted.

He testified this does not mean there was no sexual contact, just that "no trauma was left."

I don’t really agree here but my opinion is based just on how divided we are here - both before when we knew so little and now that we have begun to hear “confessions”. I think the lawyers probably realized that this case could go either way and it wouldn’t be in RA’s best interest to consider a deal if one had been presented to him given that it would become absolutely certain that he could not walk out a free man. I’m not sure why a lawyer would want their client to take a deal when not taking one means there is still a chance at freedom. Moo.

I was wondering - if RA does get an acquittal, how would his release work? Would he literally be free to just walk straight out from court into society again = not moo, that is a question. Ty.

He absolutely did skip over a major part. He’s freaked out by the van so he kills them, but when did their fricken clothes come off?!

These guys do seem to typically downplay their crimes, or blame their victims. Here we see the former.

He also claimed at some point that he made sure they were dead so they didn’t suffer.

Those girls bled out for several minutes. At best he left before they were dead, and at worst he watched them die.

We know 3 guns were tested in 2017. This is one of them:

-One of Weber's guns, a Sig Sauer, was tested by state police lab and the result was inconclusive We're told tomorrow will be quite lengthy. Prosecutor McLeland said he intends to play 2+ hours of audio but didn't specify. Could be alleged confessions Allen made on the phone

Surely the defence can't have it both ways... it can't be a junk science when it comes to RAs gun but then magically is worth something when it comes to Weber's gun...
