Come on @Salah11 hang in there, the State has got this. The jury is doing their due diligence, but I still firmly believe it will be a Guilty verdict.

This shocks me! I can't imagine every juror hearing the exact same thing from every witness. Words matter. We saw what confusion came out from reporters taking notes.

I feel horrible for these jurors. What a task they've been given. Seems like a perfect storm for a hung jury especially if there is one that can't be convinced to join the majority.

My opinion.

Yes me too. If the jurors didn’t discuss the evidence/testimonies in the jury room in order to get a general consensus of key points as they were allowed, I can’t imagine how difficult it would be if they just started at square one after the entire three weeks.

My issue with whether or not RA looks like BG is that if you do a simple search online , some of the other names commonly thrown around as suspects in this case also have identical body types to BG. Look no further than BH.

It annoys me that the police didn’t do the height analysis of BG based on the images from Libbys phone, as that could well have narrowed the field one way or another given that RA is pretty short for a man .
You can say that again! Round face, wide nose, overweight, blue jackets and baggie jeans. IMO

Well, I wouldn’t say “multiple” people, but at least two and they had to kill Abby because they weren’t going to leave a witness. I’m only saying that although the injury to her neck was a violent and deadly act, Libby’s was over kill, IMO. Her multiple stab wounds were deep and repetitive and there was uncontrollable rage behind that weapon to leave those brutal wounds compared to Abby’s. I do suspect both were SA in some way. <modsnip: no source link> IMO
It appears that Libby tried to escape, likely after an initial wound.

That may have made Allen angry, or he was simply making sure she couldn’t continue to flee.

The FBI left prior to RA ever being on LE radar. Up until then, he’d only given a statement to DD. ~6 months later the statement was found by KS, who noted the surname & street name were transposed. Once that was reported to her superiors, the focus quickly switched to RA.

You're right, thanks. I just find it so hard to fathom why Superintendent Carter sent the FBI packing! And I may have missed it, but I haven't seen anyone venture a theory as to why.

And witnesses confirmed the timeline he gave for when and where he was on the bridge, as Abby and Libby were approaching, minutes away.
Probably less than 2 minutes and within eyeshot of the bridge abutment within a few seconds. BB passed the girls right where the trail slightly bends betwen Mears and the MHBridge, from that bend the bridge is in full view.

I mean no disrespect to the Jury at ALL. I wonder if they are gathering information and want to be prepared as possible to speak to the media. I imagine they will be hounded relentlessly, maybe they are also making media plans with each other, I again am not saying they are trying to profit or anything, just maybe making plans to all go to a remote cabin, or deciding what they will or will not be speaking about.
No disrespect, but I'm fairly certain that is something they will wait to discuss after a verdict is reached, if at all. I don't appreciate veiled insinuations that the jury is out talking a media plan, there is absolutely no indication of that. They've endured weeks of emotional and difficult testimony, separated from their families and lives basically, doing a job that not many could or would do.

They deserve our gratitude and appreciation regardless of the Verdict, because without jurors the Justice System does not work. Period.

I’ve considered that another person may have been involved. No evidence has been presented to support that theory, though. Even if another had been involved, I cannot see how that changes RA’s responsibility in the murders. RA shouldn’t get to walk free because an alleged accomplice wasn’t caught.

I haven’t passed through Indiana since I was a girl, but even if every man in Indiana looked identical to RA, and every man in Indiana dressed uniformly, the other names bandied about in earlier years had alibis and were not there.

Source is all the evidence we have been given for quite some time now.

Purely speculation but we really don’t know what “the FBI”s exact involvement was, especially going into 2021 when it would appear the investigation wasn’t moving forward to any great degree. Needlesss to say”the FBI” isn’t a person but was it the very same agent was sat in the Task Force meetings each time? Noting that the reps for ISP and Carroll County were quite constant, if the person representing the FBI wasn’t always the same, did it waste time to bring that person up to date? Do the FBI cost their involvement back to counties? We’re missing too much info to know why DC thought it best for the FBI to exit. JMO

IMO, RA is not BG. So that still leaves at least two other killers out there.

How 2? If he's one and BG is the other, who is the third?

Horrible. Stunning to think what both girls went through. Such anger and rage, especially towards Libby. And when I think about the scenario, the time it took, it only confirms my belief that more than one person was involved in this crime, and it was personal. IMO, it appears they killed Abby first, just to get her out of the way, so that they could violently torture and rage against Libby. Why, why, why? IMO
Two perpetrators would have exacted more control IMO. The chaos of the CS tells me it was one person, hugely disorganized. Fast with a blade doesn't require skill or precision.

I think some question why the girls dust run, scream, fight back. To which I say that we don't know that they didn't.

Brutal slayings, both of them, IMO Abby was bound in some way when she was injured. Single, lethal cut.

Libby was able to move. And did. A short distance.

That crime scene, the pools of blood, her bloody hands, her handprint on the tree, she fought like hell. To get away, to live.

And IMO he fought like hell to make sure she didn't.

No doubt he thought it was them or him. And he choose them, for them to die.

Two perps, you'd expect to see two different causes of death, no reason for chaotic injuries, no reason for incomplete SA.

Nope, to me this reeks of one man who thought he could control the situation. And did. Until he lost control. And then let lost all control.

Probably sat there a good, long time afterwards too, thinking he should probably just kill himself. Coward though that he says he is, ultimately he decided not to. Started covering up what he done, probably heard voices in the distance, and walked away, never looking back.

The point is he did described what he was wearing that day.

No. My point is, had Dulin asked him in 2017 what he was wearing and managed to put two and two together they would have had him in for questioning days after the murders happened and probably found a lot more evidence.

Just thinking..
The thought of what happened from the time the girls heard "down the hill"... is a night mare in my mind.
I know we've all played it out in thoughts we wished we didn't. As hard as it is, we have tried visualize their steps, the words exchanged, the fear, the threats etc.
No matter the scenario I can't help but imagine the horror of those moments. That we know for a fact.!!
Libby being naked and cold. Both to afraid to run or scream. One watching the horror of the other being killed.
We will never know if maybe one tried to run or how he managed to keep them both in control. A gun pointed at you would surely do that.
RA was on a mission once he saw them on the bridge.
A crime of opportunity? Or did he know they would be there. It was a darn risky and brazen act in the middle of the day and 2 girls.

I still struggle with the Anthony Shots/Kk being a huge coincidence. I accept it must be.

I hate that only RA holds the answers to so many things we want to know.
I do think Richard Allen is BG.
Awaiting a Guilty verdict. This has to be torture on the family so they are in my thoughts.

That’s what I think ie. Libby tried to make a run for it. And, thus made RA furious.

Transcripts Available to Jurors?
Does anyone know how frequently jurors have access to courtroom transcripts? Is it simply based on turn-around time? Or something more? I know the trials where I served we were never permitted trial transcripts but that has been a few years ago.
@fred&edna
In Judge Gull's "Preliminary Instructions" re note taking by the jurors, she also advised --- transcripts of witness testimony will NOT be available to them during their deliberations (I think that's virtually verbatim).

Juror note taking & ref to transcript unavailibility, on p 10 of 13.

In other trials, "how frequently?" IDK.

Not from the police, but apparently the human tibia can be used to estimate a person’s height. Someone being aware of this and using what video frames were available of BG—I think they said around—they calculated his height at 5’6”. At the same time they calculated Abby’s and was off by an inch as well. I think this was done before RA was in the picture, but I could be wrong. I can’t bring the link here but I found it easily searching for calculating BG’s height.
