GUILTY Abby & Libby - The Delphi Murders - Richard Allen Arrested - #216

I was behind on this case, there’s a lot to follow and I needed a break after Letecia Stauch. When I saw the trial was happening, I thought I’d catch up quickly via a YouTube summary. They were a lawyer, great, I thought. I was really surprised to hear from the YouTuber that “no one” believed RA was BG, and that it was all a conspiracy.

I came back here, sunk time in, caught up and did not watch the YouTuber again.

Lesson learnt. Thank god for WS.
I sampled both LL & AB at the suggestion of a couple of folks who shall remain nameless & didn’t make it past 2 minutes for either. It was a moment of clarity for me & explained why so many things were seemingly twisted into what I felt was nonsense. Lots of distractions which did nothing but muddy the waters.

I found that news sources closer to the trial & within the state were often as well informed as possible, given the restrictions. There were a few hiccups but typically those were ironed out by 7-8pm EST & corrected if necessary.

My opinion...I can't blame the defense for an epic failure, as they really had no defense. This is why they came up with everything else they came up with, franks, odinism, soddi's, leaks, youtube, podcasts, twitter, fb, allegations of mistreatment in prison, suspicions of false confessions based on psychiatric issues, ad nauseum. They couldn't get Richard Allen off that bridge.... and they couldn't place anyone else on it.

Richard Allen = Bridge Guy = Murderer

For me, it's as simple as that.

I agree with all this, but I do blame the defense.
I blame them for knowing their client was guilty and deciding to write fantasy instead of helping their client who was struggling in prison in any reasonable way, and not pleading him guilty. It prolonged RA’s suffering. That’s own them
They are to blame for adding dimwitted social media #sses to their defense team simply to fan the flames for their LIES, and disrespecting the victims’ families.
They exulted in being worshipped by the sheep.
These supposed legal gods turned out to be pathetically bad courtroom lawyers.

Opinion

RA has been wearing blue/teal and purple throughout the trial as noted by WISHTV. I find that disturbing to say the least and I have no doubt that it was planned that way by his scheming, underhanded DT. (like the gimmie money fund using the families hashtag)

Really, how much lower and unprofessional can one be? They made a game and joke out of Justice for Abby and Libby and that is the very reason they LOST the case and RA was found GUILTY. Karma and Justice came back to them tenfold. I bet the only ones sleeping like a baby last night were R&B with visions of who might play them in upcoming TV specials.

JMO
I noticed that too. I was thinking that the Defense Team was hoping that during transport the Jurors would notice those blue/teal and purple ribbons that were put up around Delphi in honour of Abby & Libby ...

and would somehow associated them with support for RA.

IMO.

He even was ostensibly leaking information about evidence like the “mystery DNA that was never tested” that actually turned about to be KG’s. And that was excused by some because surely he’s not actually that involved with the defense. And even though he’s sitting with the defense as reported by various individuals, that’s probably mischaracterized according to the same prose that were adamant he wasn’t actually affiliated with the defense.

There have been several legal professionals in this case that have set up camp in and changed residency to the ethical gray areas.

On some level, I feel bad for RA because I truly feel he did not get an appropriate defense. He was used for publicity and notoriety and now he will be cast aside. It’s hard to feel too much sympathy, though, because I also feel he’s guilty no matter how much poop he ultimately consumed.

I linked in a previous thread, BM was a part of the Due Process Gang spewing hate on the Unhinged/Discord messages published by TMS. I think the attorneys and MH blew past the gray area straight into the Red Zone of unethical conduct and general horribleness. The 2 main cranks on there with their vile hatred, threats, and utter lack of humanity or decency need as much mental health help as RA. IMO

BM got PC traffic, some CourtTV guest spots and a chance to wear his suits for the first time in years probably, and will strut back to relative obscurity doing his Podcast from the den or kitchen like he was before this case. Maybe CW will truly work on figuring out that "Yes Dear, we actually did land on the moon, it's a whole thing". MA will go back to teaching or just sit down and have a nice long rest, although it seems he's found a new passion on X. LOL

In genuine sincerity because I do admire you as a poster, a tip for you when you start to feel bad for RA, pause and think of Abby & Libby and how RA took their innocent young lives. He left them bloody and broken, forever 13 and 14. Not the strong, beautiful young women they would have been today.

TY. I'm just curious if that had anything to do with the FBI being released from the investigation.
I couldn’t tell you one way or another why that happened. AFAIC, it would be speculation but common sense might lean towards
  • Too many cooks in the kitchen, more difficult to point focus across multiple agencies (who tells FBI what to do, for example)
  • Disorganization due to number of investigators
  • Disagreement on priorities
  • Press leaks
  • Personal issues
  • Pride/ego

IMO there is no excuse for victim blaming in ANY case. I was disappointed that the Allen family didn't at least take the time to acknowledge the victims without admitting RA was responsible. But I do feel sorry for them as well because they have had this D team and all the money grabbers in their ear feeding them propaganda. I'm not sure how I would feel in KA's shoes but I do think it's possible to still love someone that has committed a vicious crime. MOO

The "Click" report, from retired Rushville, IN police officer, sent to the Delphi Prosecutors may have had something to do with it. Just a big fiasco of misrepresentation (as shown by testimony in the 3 day pre-trial hearings) and outright fibs (I'm being kind) about a deceased task force and early Odin investigating officer's opinions. All well said & I agree concerning the mouthpieces, et. al. Your posts are appreciated, at least to this rookie, as are many.

Concerning @m00c0w, I genuinely believe he & I both simply enjoy pointing out just how much poop RA did eat & for no reason in the end. I will allow him to take it from there.

IIRC correctly, didn’t TC have a change of heart concerning all that, like just in the past few months?

Thank you and I do find it comical that RA did all that for naught. He won't be doing that again. ;)

This is precisely why it’s not going to keep me up at night. All in all, I think he’s guilty and deserves all that he has received.

They tried to do this by saying the girls were taken elsewhere in the opening and by stressing this mystery hair. It may be true that LE didn't know exactly who that hair belonged to, but if they knew it was a female relative of Libby and Abby had on a sweatshirt belonging to a female relative of Libby, then ?? It just isn't a good look that the defense implied that this could be the "real killer".. doesn't look good to do this to a victim in this case who was also a minor when her sister was killed.
(respectfully snipped and bolded) I don't think I'll ever get past them throwing Kelsi under the bus like that, especially a DAY before the trial for her baby sister's violent murder was set to begin. The list of questionable and sometimes flat out disreputable things this defense team has done is almost as long as these threads at this point and again I am biased as I have younger siblings but that was the moment they became truly irredeemable to me. Well done to Kelsi for going on the stand just a day or two after that disgrace and giving excellent, clear-headed and heartfelt testimony for her sister.

Had the DT spent quality time reading the Discovery, working with their client and bonafide professionals, they MAY have been able to piece together a sensible Defense. Attack the investigation, poke holes where they needed to be poked but not this defence Team.

Instead of attacking the evidence, they chose to recruit a bunch of money hungry YouTubers in an effort to build conspiracies and fanciful tales of Ritual Sacrifice and ridiculous theories that should find them embarrassed.

They lied, cheated, made up stories and got paid for it to boot!

They disgust me.

I happen to believe RA is Guilty. The Good Guys won yesterday and the Bad Guys lost.

However, RA was not afforded a decent Defense and when he had a chance to get new representation he chose to stick with these miscreants and they sold him down the river. The smug look on Brad Rozzi’s face yesterday as he left court made me nauseous.

They were lazy and threw together a haphazard defence that showed they were ill equipped to represent RA. The fact they kept asking to bring in the SODDI Defence was a joke.

I cannot disagree with a word you’ve said. I don’t support anything the D did, however, I do feel they had the talent amongst themselves to have done something other than what transpired. I feel the need to be careful in my wording out of respect to the victims, so bear with me. None of what I say is what I wished to happen, simply attempting to discuss strategy. Yesterday was the outcome I wanted & I’m very happy with it, even though RA could have eaten just a bit more poop (kidding - couldn’t resist).

The D simply didn’t have a Plan B which made sense. Had they simply listened to what JG had told them months ago, I feel the trial may have gone a different route. They didn’t need to raise the Odinism angle & keep trying to peck at it & sneak it in. The entire east side of the crime scene was wide open & no one could offer any evidence that someone might have come from that direction - not unless the geofencing came into play. They could have tried to blame a random hunter in the woods. The D could have focused their cross questions better to imply as such. The did try with some of their witnesses, but it just fell flat (guy seen at SE end of bridge by woman getting her mail or something). Instead, they bet it all on a large, sprawling story with many actors & bad sources of supposed conversation coming from ex-wives & ex-girlfriends (yeah, GREAT idea, as if they don’t have motive for throwing people under the bus).

Before I bow out of here myself, and since I do not publicly speculate often, I have to bring up one thing that has stuck with me during these proceedings and that is basically the duality of man and the psychology here.

Please understand this is not an attempt to knock KA. I won't put down a person for standing beside their spouse.

Coincidentally that is exactly what perplexes me on RA's side...

I still have such a hard time fully accepting the dependency or the overwhelming "love" he apparently has for his wife. I believe he loves the strong security blanket KA provides.

Does a person that is highly dependent upon another not also seek sexual gratification from them? Wouldn't she (the center of his universe) have been sufficient or even more desirable than most fantasy?

Are 3 beers really enough to throw away that entire dependency as well as the shame and guilt from even premeditating something so heinous as rape of small children?

So much compartmentalization and so many small questions but at least we no longer have to ask if he is guilty.

In the end, I understand that people make impulsive, irrational decisions all the time, but you would think someone in his position of need would be even more aware of that and the repercussions following.

To me Richard Allen isn't dependent he is selfish...and ultimately married his real defense lawyer...not his lover.

I am very curious to hear mitigating v aggravating factors that may be revealed during the sentencing phase. Still so little has been publicly shared about Rick. Who is this man? What made him snap?
I had hoped to hear more from people who might come forward now that the trial is over and after sentencing, but I wouldn't blame them if they don't. This case has brought out a new level of crazy I've never seen. I'd be afraid to speak out publicly and I don't think we'll ever really know the truth anyway.

Just MOO, I think RA was a disturbed individual, had sexual perversions probably from a young age according to Wala's testimony. He suffered from Anxiety and Depression, as do millions of Americans so that's not a pass. He was able to function in society, hold down a job, own a home, life time marriage, successful daughter, spent 10 years in the National Guard. I think he definitely had an alcohol problem according to his 2015 LE contact and his stay somewhere in 2019.

Sometimes there is just plain evil in people, maybe on Feb 13th, 2017 the combination of all of these sent him hunting. I don't think he snapped, I think he'd wanted to do this for a while and that was the unluckiest day for Abby and Libby.

It’s in the section above the Permits and Licenses heading, scroll past the pic of RA.

McLeland entered evidence of an enhanced video recorded by Libby from the end of the High Bridge. The enhancement “stabilizes” the video and allows additional audio to be heard.

“I listened to that video 100 times,” Liggett said, saying listening to it with headphones is the best method as it cuts out ambient noise.

As the enhanced video is played, Abby says, “Is he right here?” followed by “Don’t leave me up here.” Libby then says, “See, this is the path.”

Liggett said Libby then whispered, “That be a gun.” She then says, “There’s no path here. We have to go down here.”

A man can then be heard saying, “Guys.” Libby says, “Hi,” and then the man says, “Down the hill.”

Thank you. Such innocent good friends.
