Also MOO his more recent searching for horror movies suggests he was back into the onset of a sequence that would end in the murder of more women or girls.
So thank you Detective Kathy Shank, fitting you worked a career in the Department of Child Protective Services.
I didn't realize KS was a detective until I saw the DIN designation after her name on one of the documents. She seems to have a heart of gold; I wish she could take an interest in those poor little girls who perished in the Flora fire.

MOO I think, not sure, was she a case manager - or possibly purely administrative - is DIN a CPS title?
I said "Detective" as a sign of respect.

Apparently the starting over on the case per Carter, which they did twice (once GBI did it once themselves,) only
meant looking at a database.

The actual hard core reviewing of original documents seems to have been deemed "womens work."

Ok. Kathy Shank refers to herself as being an investigator.

"...and I read the report that Dan Doolan had made after he had spoken with him and I as being an investigator, I had looked at some of the statements from the girls that said they had seen a person out the bridge and basically I put the two and two together, took it to Tony, and we went from there."

Investigator Kathy Shank solves the case.

39 m. TMS begins discussing the video.

When is first introduced, it's played all the way through.

They describe seeing gravel and planks that are obviously the bridge.
The phone goes up and you see Abby.
Then it goes upside down, Abby running to the end.
KG saw BG, AC did not.
KG: BG is there, very small. A very small part of the image, not landscape, but portrait.

Saw the video twice.

What they heard:

Libby comments that the trail ends here, then the word gun. AC: I definitely heard the word gun. Both KG and AC heard Abby say, "(he's) freaking me out". Running. Frightened tone, high pitched.

Then "Guys"... pause... metallic sound and then "DTH".

Abby says huh

Video ends

1:05.00 m. Putting this forever to rest-- the photo of Abby on the bridge that wasn't on Libby's phone, a juror asked if it was possible it was saved on the app and not on the phone, and the expert witness confirmed it.

No conspiracy.

1:06.00 Expert witness who worked with the image of BG worked with the data already in the image, made it clearer and crisper. He didn't create anything. Also enhanced the audio.

That was really interesting. I wonder if the original image of BG is just too small to get what they need? Is there even a shadow to go by? I'm not even understanding how they got the pictures we've been looking at for 7 years. Did they use AI to make the images?
Until we can see all the courtroom exhibits I do not know what to make about the video and pictures of bridge guy. I think the main problem with determining bridge guy's height is that you have to find the exact spot Liberty German was standing and take into consideration the bridge guy was further away. As bridge guy walked closer the image would appear to get bigger.

Richard Allen did say he might have been wearing a blue jacket with a hoodie. In the image of bridge guy, it looks like there is a hoodie on the blue jacket. Also, the skull cap (beanie) looks close to the same color as the one Richard Allen had wore previously. Due to Richard Allen's short height and the fact that bridge guy is looking down, I think figuring out the height would confirm for everyone that the right man was arrested, tried, and convicted of the crime.

if the white van video has a correct timestamp of 2:44pm and Libby's phone stopped moving at 2:32pm, then the phone was already across the creek at 2:32pm.

After crossing Deer Creek to get to the other side, where does someone have to stand in order to see a white van coming up the drive? If you were standing in the general spot where the unspent cartridge, Libby's phone, and the girls' bodies were found, would you be able to see a white van coming up the drive or parked at BW's residence?

If you cannot see a white van from that spot, then my guess is that the white van did not scare Richard Allen at all, and he simply saw it while walking around to different spots around the crime scene(where he could possibly see it) while gathering sticks or doing whatever else he was doing at the crime scene for the next hour before he left and was seen by SC walking along 300 N at 3:57pm.

One thing I always wondered about this case that probably never will be answered is the following question:

In the 5 and a half years between when the murders happened and when Richard Allen was arrested, did he ever walk back out to the crime scene?

Abbreviated by me for clarity.

Don’t know but - In 2018, KA uploaded a photo to FB of the daughter posing on the bridge.

Here is a video of drone footage taken AFTER the MHB renovation, so the NW end will NOT look as it did in 2017. However, there is a flyover going towards Weber’s property & you can see the private road going under the bridge & there is still a good portion of the grade going from the ground below up to the bridge. Pay attention to how high up the road is from the creek bank below, as well as how high up it is on the LH side of the creek. Also how well one can see between the trees with no foliage. The snow amplifies it but there wasn’t snow on the ground the day of or after the murders. The creek was also MUDDY (see news helicopter footage from 13th or 14th - water is brown) so why would RA have been looking at fish that day? The drone footage probably captured some of the crime scene in this footage, starting around the 2:35 marker - CS would be to the left & drone is flying directly towards BWs parents home, which shows up in a clearing at the top of the screen.

Nobody that we know of recognized him.

Nobody went on the stand to take up for him either. Not even KA. The sister and daughter made no impact either way, imo.

RA is just another common garden variety pervert capable of horrors like we read about everyday on WS who slimed by in his insignificant life until he destroyed others for as he says he's selfish. Just like all the countless others, imo.

There are some mysteries out there but for me this isn't one.

To depend on the public or family to come forward is not the way such crimes are solved, imo. So it doesn't hold much weight to me to identify a grainy photo of someone we've seen at CVS is a monster who took and killed two young girls and went back to work as if nothing happened is beyond most of us.

[I feel CVS is a place of trust. When I used to use their pharmacy I put my life in their hands without thought. And if I remember correctly the whole pharmacy area was up on a platform several feet high so they all towered over. I've been meaning to ask the pharmacist that worked at that one and posts on WS if they were up on the platform there like at my older store]

all imo

I would have thought many ppl in Delphi would have looked for the killer everywhere, obsessively for some ppl. Sometimes, unsurprisingly, life becomes very difficult for family members of the victims because of this.

Could the sway of CVS’s credibility really mitigate these feelings?

Again, I’m FAR from a RA apologist.

IIRC the only people who got a good look at BG, up close were the 4 girls at Freedom Bridge & 1 or 2 testified he was wearing a face covering. BB was 100+ feet away, as RA was standing on platform 1 so she probably didn’t get a very good look & the last one was SC, who I do not recall her describing facial features - just the muddy & bloody clothing & looking as if he was in a fight.

I can see from the BG image why no one recognized him - the image & quality of the video were poor & zoomed in on low resolution images/frames. Highly likely he wasn’t dressed like that & walking with his face obscured ever again. Maybe the jacket, but never the whole garb at once & especially not in public. Plus, there’s just not much to recognize in terms of the face. No one is going to expect the quiet CVS worker who’s helpful & friendly. Plus, he’s likely sober at work.

One needs to wonder why didn’t RA report seeing anyone else, especially a male, while he was out on the trails or MHB area that day.

Different topic, better idea of elevation around creek with more drone footage & captions of landmarks related to the crime. Likely flies very near the general area where girls were forced across the creek:

I wonder if RA expanded on his confession to Wala. It seems like he had great expectations of successfully capturing two young teens and sexually assaulting them both in a limited amount of time. The private drive could be seen from the bridge so there was always the chance someone could come along any time. What were his plans for after the assaults?
Any demented killer planning on SA and murder would not be thinking of the details clearly. RA is certainly no criminal mastermind as he so obviously proved. He was lucky, I wish the same could be said for Abby & Libby and they would have never come across that monster to begin with.

They used the image Libby captured on her phone, which was just seconds long. Does anything, anywhere support the probability they used AI to 'make the images'?

RA did dramatically change his appearance over time right after the murders. Gained major weight, grew out his mostly close cropped facial hair to a foot long goatee, shaved head basically that he let go completely gray. He worked to distance himself from the image of Bridge Guy.

Hiding in plain sight.

imo

I think we can safely say that the authority of a well-known and respected national pharmacy chain had to have been a considerable factor at least.

Didn't Doug Carter way back in the beginning predict that this would be someone from Delphi, "hiding in plain sight", visible to the community? It wound up being true in an unexpected way. [Instead of the Little League coach or youth minister I was imagining, a CVS pharmacy technician. ]
