AC opens talking about showing real human compassion to the families who lost real children.

Interview with Becky Patty.

BP says moments hit her, when she realized again that Libby should be here, experiencing it too.

They include her in everything, imagine what she would do, want. They keep her in the front of their minds.

Libby was special. People have come forward telling her things Libby said or did things that impacted people. Things she did for teachers...

She was in advanced classes, exceptionally smart. Finally struggled with advanced math. Struggled with having to learn, study. BP told her, "welcome to our world, that's how it is for the rest of us!"

She was logical.

No matter what she would have done, whether law endmforcemebt or science or research or teaching, she would have been passionate about it, impactful.

She loved true crime, loved trying to solve it. It was something they shared, Libby and BP.

I think the connection between RA and KAK simply wasnt digital.
And anything remotely collaterally connective was eliminated by KAK by wiping of the iPhone 6 that the police missed in the KAK search warrant. A iPhone which he later surrendered to them, factory restored and useless.
Yeah, RA’s 2017 phone going MIA & KK deleting that iPhone data likely was the end of any possible connection between the two or even TK who may be a more likely CSAM buddy to RA IMO.

20m BP talks about staying firm that justice would come. Met other families who were waiting on justice 20 years out. If they can believe justice will happen, they could too.

Learned that neighboring places aren't even aware of the girls' story, so they got involved, vocal, started a poster campaign.

They became targets but choose to stay public, raise awareness, doing it for the girls.

BP talks about rumors online, that would get repeated and then people believed it and decided it was facts.

She describes how memories came back to them, times, clothes, things like that. Her original description of Libby's clothes, timeline estimates, etc, how people on the internet twisted those details.

Felt like every time she tried to tell the truth, correct people, she encountered people who refused to accept it.

Farmville was her only experience with social media prior. She thought everyone was sincere, wanted to help, but learned that wasn't true.

BP sets the record straight. Libby was not, has not, was never related to Nick McLeland, the prosecuting attorney. By marriage or any other.

A woman was married to Nick McLeland's  uncle then divorced the uncle, then later on, married Libby's grandpa.

[I can't believe how distorted this was on the internet!!! The implication was some sort of collusion because the Prosecutor was related to the victim. Utter hogwash. It's a smalltown. His uncle's ex-wife later married Libby's grandpa.]

I'm especially interested in this part, notably the timeline: "Her original description of Libby's clothes, timeline estimates, etc, how people on the internet twisted those details."

BP talks about the pain of the crime scene photos being leaked, that they're out there forever, made worse by the Defense minimizing it. She says an apology would have gone a lot further.

25m. BP said that, even Libby was lounging around, she was wearing sweatpants. When Libby left to go with Kelsi, it was the last time BP saw her, she was off the deck so her pants didn't show. When she told LE what Libby was wearing, she went by what Libby had had on. Didn't include that she had a sweatshirt.

Additionally, Kelsi was not part of that exchange with LE because she was still at work. She didn't give a description.

Later, BP learned from police that Libby had had jeans on.

tbh I didn't know that was even suggested, I knew a bit about this and kept up to date with most of it but thats the first time I heard people were thinking that. you wouldn't guess it from some of the photos and the video of him taking a step over the beams.

i thought it would be something like that. obviously they wouldn't want him to hear it hence the whisper. Its piercing to hear i think its abby but not sure say "hi" she sounds so warm and kind.
And such a young voice, that got me.

Probably the timeline after Kelsea and the girls left the house. Kelsei's phone data could have been looked at but probably only after the fact of finding the girls bodies. I could see wrong info being spread right away because an active search was from about 3:30pm onward. Emotions and stress of the family members/friends and then the frantic calling around within the community, all honestly meant to help but bad info got spread, MO

BP talks about the conspiracy theories, the Defense, says it just needs to run its course. They've learned to be patient. Eventually it's stop.

High regard for the prosecuting team, felt the Defense attorneys crossed the line, but also understands that they have a job to do. Still, "I don't think defense attorneys should do their jobs at the expense of the victims.... they made Richard Allen into a victim instead of the real victims...." BP felt the girls got lost in all of that and shouldn't have been.

Keeping their memories alive through scholarships, the park... in remembrance of the girls for the whole community... memorial pavers for other victims.... ongoing maintenance, improvements for people who want to contribute, acts of kindness, 'pay it forward' in honor of the girls.

If she could say anything to Libby, it would be, "We miss you. "

I agree he might have let Abby redress in some cruel game of "I'm going to let you go" or he simply redressed her in Libbys oversized clothing easily enough as she was a little thing.

With Libby and her physical stature there was no way that murdering little sick troll could have redressed her. She was as big as him and he'd done all of the physical exertion, and the adrenaline dump would have started setting in I believe. It was probably all he could do to drag Libby closer to Abby.

How sick is it that he claims he stayed long enough to make sure they were dead so they didn't suffer?? WTH??? They suffered the minute you pointed that gun at them and ordered them DTH.

GRRRRRRR 🤬

I sincerely hope RA isn't having one moment of peace in prison as a convicted double child murderer, not now and not ever. He's right where he deserves to be and Abby and Libby should be here among the living doing the great things I know they would have. :(

I think it was Lauren's video with BG behind Abby that it was mentioned, perhaps Libby gave Abby clothes as she was barely 100 lbs and walking thru the creek, would have been freezing cold so Libby gave her the clothes, while also transferring the phone to Abby to hide it.

I tend to think that scenario makes more sense vs BG letting Abby re dress, but that's JMO and as we know, anything is possible.

RA=BG=Killer was there to SA and murder 2 innocent teenagers out enjoying a beautiful "OFF School" day !!

I still get so angry !! :mad::mad:

This just makes me cry :(😭

I am waiting to listen to it when I have time to hear the whole interview and when I get home as I am sure I will be sobbing all the way through it.

Bless the families... their patience and respect for Investigators and their Love for the Libby & Abby helped them overcome the frustrations and nonsense from the Circus D team.

Speaking of unimaginable evil in broad daylight...

Abby was redressed.

What was his rationale there?
My theory is that the scene was pure chaos. He hears the van nearby, panics, pulls his gun on Abby and starts screaming at her to get dressed. She's terrified, confused, just grabs whatever clothes are nearby as he's melting down.

I can understand Kelsi not noticing that Libby was wearing jeans and not sweatpants. For whatever reason, I had the picture in my mind of Libby still being in the house when Becky told her to take a jacket.

You wrote that Becky talked about the timeline; what did she say about that?

She said the media distorted it.

For instance, she have a time for when they went to the park, later used her phone to calculate a more accurate time. Kelsi gave a rough time when she dropped them off, later the actual times were fleshed out, including from CCTV of Kelsi's car, passing by HH.

It's really GROSS IMO how the family was treated, online and in motions, for details that everyone should understand borne of chaos. Trying yo her information out as quickly as possible, then adjusting it with specifics, which IS NOT changing one's story but rather correcting, adjusting, filling it in. Natural, normal, expected.

The family have such a class and have my complete respect for how they have handled all this toxicity. It's bad enough to have a niece murdered, let alone dealing with everything else on top.
RBBM

Granddaughter, I believe.

ETA - yes, they’ve handled themselves quite admirably in public. How MP refrained from going after anyone affiliated with RA in public is beyond me. The utmost patience.
