It was not pro bono. By all accounts, they got paid very well to… do whatever this was…My hope going forward is that any future defendants looking to hire Baldwin and Rozzi will save their money and hire a grad student in Creative Writing, instead.
They had a very public case, they were in the spotlight and liked that a lot. The publicity was worth the Pro Bono.
After the judge threw out their fanfic, they couldn’t keep up.
IMO this defense team operated outside the realm of good law.
Too bad RA didn't confess seven years ago and save EVERYONE the pain and expenses. He was enjoying the hiding in plain sight game (giving the girls' families their photos for free at CVS for example) and proud of himself I think. But now, he's gonna need an even bigger bible to hide behind when he meets his new 'friends' where he's going into gen-pop hopefully. mooHindsight being 20/20, he didn’t eat nearly enough & he wasn’t given nearly enough sporks.
No amount of the above could make amends for what he’s done AFAIC
He thought after 5 years he could come in & play games with LE. He told Holeman to arrest him & Holeman obliged him. More importantly, Holeman also did one other thing….he DID f’ing PROVE IT, just like he told RA he’d do.
MOO
We do but for whatever reason not in this case.A member had inquired whether Indiana had the death penalty.

Isn’t this a LWOP case (no death penalty)? No auto appeal, and appeals must be approved. I could be wrong, but could have sworn the penalty for guilt was possibly LWO
To garner fans via their science fiction masterpiece?

All that money and one GIANT crap a$$ defense.No. It was paid by the State. Although his defense offered to represent him pro bono the appeal court reinstated his ‘preferred’ council.

Over $1 million has been spent on the Delphi murders trial; how much more will be spent?
Of the $1 million spent so far, $581,605 is considered expenses for Richard Allen’s defense.www.wthr.com
All that money and one GIANT crap a$$ defense.smh
imo
Well at least this time it might be REAL.I bet he has a few melt down tonight’s in prison.
I thought it would be guilty or else a hung jury.
I kept thinking surely all 12 jurors wouldn’t think him not guilty.
It's not ok in any world, on any planet. What despicable people and Court TV aired it!? I'll never tune to them again.CourtTV's live commentary was littered with horrendous accusations targeting the LE, the judge... and most disgustingly, the families of Abby and Libby. The fact that Court TV doesn't have a mod that kicks these accounts is disgraceful, they turned on 'subs comments only' but of course the RA truthers kept commenting vitriol against the families.
But it is ok. Justice has prevailed. Comments on YT will stay just this, comments. Grateful for our moderators here.
BBMI tried explaining this episode to ppl on other platforms that Allen knew what he was doing in that event to fake craziness but it fell on deaf ears. My personal opinion is Allen is a monster. JMO
Good riddance!Wow. Is this really RA now? He has aged 10 years.
