In my mind, I chose to ignore both experts just as jurors often do when there are competing experts. I still arrived at Guilty and BARD. But I am posting because my confidence in this verdict is increased by the evidence in the famous 1983 case of Diane Downs (
Small Sacrifices by Ann Rule). The gun used was never located but its existence was attested to by her ex-husband and ex-lover. iirc LE found spent casings on the floor of the car and on the road.
